University of the West is compiling and providing digitized access to Sanskrit Buddhist texts strictly for noncommercial educational and research purposes. These e-texts are provided for review, indexing and word search purposes only. They are not a complete facsimile or substitute for the original texts.

All copyrights lie with the original copyright holders as cited within the texts. Those seeking to distribute or reproduce copyrighted materials beyond the provisions of fair use are responsible for securing permissions from the copyright holders. Individuals are responsible for making their own assessments in regards to obtaining any necessary authorization for their intended use.

The DSBC project and its committee continue to compile, create, and provide the resources for the endeavor of promoting research into Buddhist materials. Rights in the compilation, indexing, and transliteration are held by University of the West where permitted by law. Reproduction of DSBC contents without permission is prohibited.
