saptavidhasāṃkathyaviniścaye'rthaviniścayaḥ svabhāvārthādīn ṣaḍarthānārabhya veditavyaḥ | tatra -



svabhāva strayaḥ svabhāvāḥ parikalpitaḥ paratantraḥ pariniṣpannaśca ||



hetvarthastrayo hetavaḥ | utpattihetustathā hetusamanantarālaṃbanādhipatipratyayāḥ, tataḥ sarvasaṃskṛtanirvartanāt | pravṛttihetustadyathā'vidyāpratyayāḥ saṃskārā yāvatsamudayo nirodhaśca bhavatītyetayā''nupūrvyā saṃkleśavyavadānapravṛtteḥ | siddhihetuḥ pratyakṣopalambhānupalambhasamākhyānasaṃgṛhītaḥ, tena sādhyasyāpratītasyārthasya sādhanāt ||



phalārthaḥ pañca phalāni | vipākaphalaṃ tadyathā''layavijñānam | niṣpandaphalaṃ tadyathā pūrvotpannānāṃ kuśalādīnāṃ dharmāṇāṃ tatsāntānikā uttara kuśalādayo dharmāḥ | adhipatiphalaṃ tadyathā sarvasattvasādhāraṇaṃ karmādhipatyena bhājanalokaḥ | puruṣakāraphalaṃ tadyathā sasyādayaḥ visaṃyogaphalaṃ tadyathā''ryamārgeṇānuśayasamudghātaḥ ||



karmārthaḥ pūrvavaddraṣṭavyastadyathā karmasaṃkleśanirdeśe ||



yogārthaḥ pañca yogāḥ sāmūhiko yogasta dyathā gṛhakāṣṭheṣṭakādīnām | ānubandhiko yogastadyathā[nu]śayādihetuḥ, tathāhi tasmin satyasamudācaradbhirapi kleśādibhiryukta ityucyate | sāmbandhiko yogastadyathā svajanma nāṃ parasparam | āvasthiko yogastadyathā'nugrahādyāḥ saṃtāna vyavasthāḥ, tathāhi tāsu vartamānaḥ sukhena yukto yāvadduḥkhāsukhena yukta ityucyate | vaikāriko yoga āgantukopakleśādika saṃmukhībhāvaḥ, tathāhi tasmin sati rāgādibhiḥ śraddhādibhiśca yukta ityucyate ||



vṛttyarthaḥ pañca vṛttayaḥ | lakṣaṇavṛttiḥ saṃskṛtasya trīṇi lakṣaṇānyutpādādīni, taiḥ prakārairvartanāt | avasthānavṛtirādheyasyādhāre vyavasthānam | viparyāsavṛttiḥ sāṃkleśikānāṃ dharmāṇāmayathābhūtaṃ vartanāt | aviparyāsavṛttirvyāvadānikānāṃ dharmāṇām | prabhedavṛttiḥ sarvasaṃskārāṇāmatītānāgatapratyutpannā dhyātmikabāhyādiprakārairvartanāt ||



vyākhyāviniścayo yena sūtrāntānāmartha nirdiśati | sa punaḥ parijñeyavastvādīnāṃ ṣaṣṇāmarthānāṃ pratisūtraṃ yathāsaṃbhavaṃ pratipādanāt | tatra parijñeyaṃ vastu skandhādi | parijñeyo'rtho'nityatādi | parijño paniṣacchīlendriyaguptadvāratādi | parijñā bodhipakṣyā dharmāḥ | parijñāphalaṃ vimuktiḥ | tatpravedanā vimuktijñānadarśanamiti ||



api khalu caturdaśa mukhāni vyākhyāyāḥ ||



vyākhyā saṃgrahamukhaṃ yatra sūtrasyotpattiprayojanaṃ padārtho'nusandhirabhiprāyaścodyaparihāraśca varṇyate ||



vastusaṃgrahamukhaṃ yatra sūtramukhaṃ śikṣāryasatyavastvādiṣu pratipādyate | tadyathā sarvapāpasyākaraṇamiti gāthā tistraḥ śikṣā[ma]dhikṛtyetyevamādi ||



aṅgopāṅgamukhaṃ yatraikena padenoddeśaḥ śeṣairnirdeśa iti pradarśyate | tadyathā dvādaśakṣaraṇasaṃnipātadeśanāyāmātmasampatparasampadityanayordvayoryathākramaṃ pañcabhiḥ pañcabhiruttaraiḥ padairnideśa iti ||



uttarottara nirhāramukhaṃ yatrottarasyottarasyābhinirharaṇāśrayatvādette dharmā evaṃ deśitā iti pradarśyate | tadyathā pañcendriyāṇi | tathāhi śraddadhāno vīryamārabhate, ārabdhavīryasya smṛtirupatiṣṭhate, upasthitasmṛteścitaṃ samādhīyate, samāhitacitto yathābhūtaṃ prajānātīti ||



pratikṣepamukhaṃ yatredamāra bhyedaṃ pratikṣipyata iti pradarśyate | tadyathā vāsyaupamyasūtre āsravakṣayamārabhya catvāraḥ pudgalāḥ pratikṣipyante | ito bāhyaka ihadhārmikaḥ śrutacintāmātrasaṃtuṣṭaḥ bhāvanāyāṃ paritasyamāno 'paripūrṇasaṃbhāraśca | jānataścāhaṃ bhikṣavaḥ paśyataścāstravāṇāṃ kṣayaṃ vadāmītyevamādinā sūtrakhaṇḍenādyaḥ pudgalaḥ pratikṣiptaḥ | bhāvanāyogamanuyuktasyetyevamādinā dvitīyaḥ | vāsyau pamyadṛṣṭāntena tṛtīyaḥ | nau dṛṣṭāntena caturtha iti ||



akṣarapaṇimamukhaṃ yatrānyasminnarthe prasiddhānyakṣarāṇyanyasmin pariṇāmyante | tadyathā'śraddhaścākṛtajñaśceti gāthāyām |



nāśānāśamukhaṃ tatra praṇāho'praṇāśastadubhayopāyastadubhayaprabhedaśca pradarśyate | tadyathā sujātasūtre praṇāśo bāhyādhyātmikopadhyavasānam | tatra bāhya upadhirgṛhakala trādilakṣaṇaḥ, ādhyātmikaḥ pañcopādānaskandha lakṣaṇaḥ | apraṇāśastadubhayādhyavasānavigamaḥ | praṇāśopāyo'pravrajanaṃ pravrajitasya cāsravakṣayaṃ prati pramādaḥ | viparyayādapraṇāśopāyo draṣṭavyaḥ | tatro bhayato vatāyaṃ sujātaḥ kulaputraḥ śobhate yacca keśaśmaśrūṇyavahārya yāvat pravrajito yaccāstravāṇāṃ kṣayādyāvatprajānāmītyanenāpraṇāśata dupāyāpadeśena tadviparītalakṣaṇa praṇāśatadupāyau sūcitau bhavataḥ | apraṇāśaprabhedo gāthānugītena darśitaḥ - " śobhate vata bhikṣurayamupaśānto nirāśrava" iti | tadevaṃ pravrajanamāsravakṣayaśca paridīpitaḥ | sa punarāsravakṣayaḥ -



vītarāgo visaṃyukto hyanupādāya nirvṛtaḥ |

dhārayatyanti maṃ dehaṃ jitvā mārasya vāhinīm ||



ityanena laukikamārgavairāgyataḥ, lokottareṇa mārgeṇāvarabhāgīyasaṃyojanaprahāṇataḥ, ūrdhvabhāgīyasaṃyojanaprahāṇataḥ, ādhyātmikopadhiprahāṇataśca paridīpitaḥ | hetuphalakṣayādhikārāccāyaṃ nirdeśo draṣṭavyaḥ | etadviparyayeṇa praṇāśaprabhedaḥ sūcito draṣṭavyaḥ iti ||



pudgalavyavasthānamukha yatreyataḥ pudgalānadhikṛtyedaṃ bhāṣitamiti pradarśyate | tadyathā audakopame sūtre dvividhau pudgalau tricatuḥprabhedāna dhikṛtya bhāṣitam - pṛthagjanaṃ dṛṣṭasatyaṃ ca | pṛthagjanastribhedaḥ - aśuklo'lpaśuklaḥ bahuśukla śca | dṛṣṭasatyaścatuḥprabhedaḥ - catvāraḥ pratipannakāḥ, catvāraḥ phalasthāḥ, trayaḥ śekṣāḥ, eko'śaikṣaḥ ||



prabhedavyavasthānamukhaṃ yatra catuṣkoṭikadibhiḥ praśnairartho varṇyate | tadyathā'nityasūtre - yaḥ sadidaṃ samanupaśyati sarvo'sau rūpaṃ samanupaśyati, yo vā rūpaṃ samanupaśyati sarvaḥ sa sadidaṃ samanupaśyatīti catuṣkoṭikaḥ | prathamā koṭirvedanārdīścaturaḥ skandhānnityaśucisukhātmaviparyāsairasamāropya parijñeya prahātavyāṃśca samanupaśyataḥ | dvitīyā koṭī rūpaṃ nityaśucisukhātmaviparyāsaiḥ samāropyāparijñeyāprahātavyaṃ ca samanupaśyataḥ | tṛtīyā koṭī rūpaṃ nityaśucisukhātma viparyāsairasamāropya parijñeyaprahātavyāṃśca samanupaśyataḥ caturthīkoṭirvedanādīṃścaturaḥ skandhānnityaśucisukhātmaviparyāsaiḥ samāropyāparijñeyāprahātavyaṃ ca samanupaśyataḥ | yathā rūpe catuṣkoṭika evaṃ vedanādau sarvatra vistareṇa draṣṭavyam | yāvadyasya kṛtaṃ karaṇīyaṃ sarvaḥ sa nāparamasmādbhavaṃ prajānāti, yāvannāparamasmādbhavaṃ prajānāti sarvasya tasya kṛtaṃ karaṇīyam | āha catuṣkoṭikam | prathamā koṭiryāvajjīvaṃ sucaritacāriṇaḥ pṛthagjanasya | dvitīyocchedadṛṣṭayādīnām | tṛtīyā aśaikṣasya | caturthī tānākārān sthāpayitvā ||



nayamukhaṃ yatra ṣaḍbhirnayairartho varṇyate - tattvārthanayena prāptinayena deśanānayenāntadva yavivarjanānayenāci ntyanayenābhiprāyanayena ca | eṣāṃ ca ṣaṇṇāṃ nayānāṃ pūrvakāstrayo nayā uttaraistribhirnayairyathākramamanugantavyāḥ | tadyathā''svādanasūtre - asti bhikṣavaḥ rūpe āsvāda ityevamādinā'pavādāntaṃ samāropāntaṃ ca varjayitvā tattvārthanayo'bhidyotitaḥ | astyāsvāda ādīnavo niḥsaraṇamityanenāpa vādānto varjitaḥ, rūpe yāvadvijñāna ityanena samāropāntaḥ, skandha mātre saṃkleśo vyavadānaṃ cānātmanīti pradarśayatā yāvaccāhaṃ bhikṣavaḥ yāvadanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbuddho'smītyadhyajñāsiṣa mityanena prāptinayo'cintyanayena paridīpitaḥ, pratyātmavedanīyādhigamasūcanāt | sarvamevedaṃ sūtraṃ deśanānayaḥ | sa cābhi prāye ṇānugantavyaḥ | sa parijñeyaṃ vastu, parijñeyamartham, parijñām, parijñāphalam, tatpravedanāṃ cābhipretyedaṃ sūtraṃ bhāṣitamiti | tatra parijñeyaṃ vastu rūpādikam | parijñeyo'rtha āsvādādikaḥ, tena prakāreṇa tasya rūpādikasya vastunaḥ parijñānāt | parijñaiṣāṃ pañcānāmupādānaskandhānāmevaṃ tri parivartena yathābhūtaparijñānam | parijñāphalamasmāt sadevakāllokādyāvat sadevamānuṣāyāḥ prajñāyā vimuktiryāvadvipramuktiḥ | tatpravedanā'nuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbuddho'smītyadhya jñāsiṣamiti ||



parijñādimukhaṃ yatra tattvalakṣaṇamāramya parijñālakṣaṇena, prahāṇalakṣaṇena, sākṣātkriyālakṣaṇena, eṣāmeva tattvalakṣaṇādīnāṃ prakārabhedalakṣaṇena, āśrayāśritasaṃvandhalakṣaṇena, parijñādīnāmāntarāyikadharmalakṣaṇena, āmulomikadharmalakṣaṇena, aparijñādiṣu cādīnavānuśaṃsālakṣaṇena cārtho nirdiśyate | tadyathā'traivāsvādanasūtre | tatra tattvalakṣaṇamupādānaskandhasaṃgṛhītaduḥkhasatyam | parijñālakṣaṇaṃ tasyaivāsvādādinā yathābhūtaṃ, parijñānam | prahāṇalakṣaṇaṃ sākṣātkriyālakṣaṇaṃ ca sarvasmāllokādvimuktiḥ, āvaraṇaprahāṇe nāśrayaparivṛttisākṣātkaraṇāt bhāvanālakṣaṇaṃ viparyāsāpagatena cetasā bahulavihāraḥ | prakārabhedalakṣaṇam -- tattvalakṣaṇasya pañcadhā bhedo rūpaṃ yāvadvijñānamiti | parijñālakṣaṇasya tridhā bheda āsvādaṃ cāsvādayato yāvanniḥsaraṇaṃ ca niḥsarato yathābhūtaṃ prajānāti | prahāṇalakṣaṇasya sākṣātkriyālakṣaṇasya dvidhā bhedaḥ kleśavimuktirduḥkhavimuktiśca | tatra sadevakāllokādyāvatsadeva mānuṣāyāḥ prajāyā vimuktiḥ kleśebhyo vimokṣādata eva tadviśeṣa ṇārthamāha niḥsṛta iti | tadyathā hyanyatra sūtre - niḥsaraṇaṃ katamadbhayaḥ | chandarāgavinayaḥ chandarāgaprahāṇaṃ chanda rāgasamatikrama ityuktam | evamanāgataduḥkhābhinirvartaka kleśavisaṃyoge sati duḥkhādapi vipramukto bhavatīti viśeṣaṇārthamāha - visaṃyukto vipramukta iti | bhāvanālakṣaṇasya dvidhā bhedo darśanamārgo bhāvanāmārgaśca | tatra viparyāsāpagatena cetaseti darśanamārga darśayati, bahulaṃ vyahārṣamityanena bhāvanāmārgam | āśrayāśritasaṃbandhalakṣaṇaṃ tatvalakṣaṇādīnāmuttarottarāṇāmāśrayatvasūcanāt | parijñādīnāmāntarāyika lakṣaṇamevaṃ triparivartena yathābhūtamaparijñānam | anulomikalakṣaṇaṃ yathāvyavasthānameṣāmeva rūpādīnāmāsvādādito vicāraṇā | aparijñānā dīnavalakṣaṇamavimuktiryāvadanuttarāyāḥ samyaksaṃbodherasaṃbodhaḥ | viparyayādanuśaṃsalakṣaṇaṃ veditavyamiti ||



balābalamukhaṃ yatraike na padenānucyamānenāyamartho na gamitaḥ syāditi pratyekaṃ sarveṣāṃ padānāṃ sāmarthya pradarśyate | tadyathā pratītyotpādasūtre 'smin satīdaṃ bhavatyasyotpādādidamutpadyate, yadutāvidyā pratyayāḥ saṃskārā ityevamādi, eṣāṃ ca padānāṃ pratyekaṃ sāmarthya pūrvavadveditavya yathā pratītyasamutpādasya lakṣaṇanirdeśe ||



pratyāhāramukhaṃ yatra sūtrasyaikaṃ padaṃ gṛhītvā vistareṇārthaḥ pratinirdiśyate | tadyathā ṣaḍbhirdharmaiḥ samanvāgato bhikṣurhimava ntamapi parvatarājaṃ mukhavāyunā cālayet, kaḥ punarvādaḥ savāsanāyā avidyā[yā]ḥ | katamaiḥ ṣaḍbhiḥ | iha bhikṣavo bhikṣuścittasyotpādakuśalo bhavati iha bhikṣurviviktaṃ kāmai ryāvaccaturthadhyānamupasaṃpadya viharati | evaṃ hi bhikṣuścittasyotpādakuśalo bhavati | kathaṃ ca bhikṣuścittasya sthitikuśalo bhavati | iha bhikṣurāsevanānvayādyaddhā nabhāgīyaṃ dhyānaṃ tat sthitibhāgīyaṃ karoti | evaṃ bhikṣuḥ sthitikuśalo bhavati | kathaṃ ca bhikṣurvyutthānakuśalo bhavati iha bhikṣurāsevanānvayādya tsthitibhāgīyaṃ dhyānaṃ tadviśeṣabhāgīyaṃ karoti | evaṃ hi bhikṣurvyutthānakuśalo bhavati | kathaṃ ca bhikṣurāyakuśalo bhavati | iha bhikṣuranutpannānāṃ kuśalānāṃ dharmāṇāmiti vistareṇa dve samyakprahāṇe | evaṃ hi bhikṣurāyakuśalo bhavati | kathaṃ ca bhikṣurapāyakuśalo bhavati | iha hi bhikṣurutpannānāṃ pāpakā nāmakuśalānāmiti vistareṇa dve samyakprahāṇe | evaṃ hi bhikṣurapāyakuśalo bhavati | kathaṃ hi bhikṣurupāyakuśalo bhavati | iha hi bhikṣuśchandasamādhipradhāna saṃskārasamanvāgatamṛddhipādaṃ bhāvayatīti vistareṇa catvāra ṛddhipādāḥ | evaṃ hi bhikṣurupāyakuśalo bhavatīti ||



abhinirhāramukhaṃ yatra pratipadaṃ catuṣkādibhirnirdiśyate | teṣvapi catuṣkādiṣvekaikaṃ padamaparaiścatuṣkādibhiraparyanto hi nirhāro veditavyaḥ | tadyathā buddhākṣepasūtre - catvāra ime bodhisattvānāṃ bodhipariśodha kā dharmāḥ - śūnyatāḥ bhāvanā, sarvasattveṣvapratihatacittatā, bodhisattvānāṃ nityaṃ hitopasaṃharaṇatā, nirāmiṣeṇa cittena dharmadānasaṃprakāśanatā ceti | catuṣkaḥ svārtha paramārtha cārabhya bodhipariśodhanāya caturvipakṣapratipakṣeṇa veditavyaḥ | catvāro vipakṣāḥ - samāpattyāsvādanā, vyāpādaḥ, mānaḥ, tṛṣṇā ca lābhasatkāre ||



aparaḥ paryāyaḥ - prathamena dharmeṇa kleśaprahāṇapratipakṣaḥ | śeṣairhīnayānaparivarjanā paridīpitāstribhiḥ kāraṇaiḥ bodhicittena sarvasattvopādānataḥ, avatīrṇaparipācanataḥ, anavatīrṇāvatā raṇataśca ||



aparaḥ paryāyaḥ - prathamena jñānasaṃbhārastribhiḥ puṇyasaṃbhāraḥ paridīpitaḥ, upādānaparipācanāvatāraṇaiḥ, pratyekaṃ puṇyaviśeṣaprasavanataḥ ||



punardvābhyāṃ kāraṇābhyāmāśa yataśca maitracittatayā, pratipattitaścādhigamāgamopadeśābhyām |



caturbhirdharmaiḥ samanvāgatā bodhisattvāḥ śūnyatāṃ bhāvayanti - adhyātmaṃ cittāvikaṃpanatayādhimuktipravicayabalādhānatayā, sarvadharmāṇāṃ yathātmyaprativedhataḥ, sarvāvaraṇavimokṣataśca | yadāśritya yathā ca bhāvayanti tadetena paridīpitam | kimāśritya | dhyānapāramitām | kathaṃ bhāvayanti | pṛthagjanamārgeṇa śrutacintābalādhānataḥ śaikṣamārgeṇāśaikṣamārgeṇa ca ||



catubhirdharmaiḥ samanvāgatā bodhisattvāḥ sarvasattve ṣvapratihatacittā bhavanti maitrībhāvanayā, pratipatyavikopanatayā, nimittāvikalpanatayā, khedasahiṣṇutayā ca | atrāpi yadāśritya yathā cāpratihatacitā bhavanti tatparidīpitaṃ bhavati | kimāśritya | paurvajanmikīṃ maitrībhāvanām | kathamapratihatacittā bhavanti | mithyāpratipattisthiteṣu svacitāvikopanataḥ, apakāriṣvapakāranimittāvikalpanataḥ, parahitārtha vyāyāmāparikhedataśca ||



caturbhirdharmaiḥ samanvāgatā bodhisattvā bodhisattvānāṃ nityaṃ hitamupasaṃharanti - ātmanaḥ paritulanatayā, samyagavavādapravartanatayā, saurabhyasukhasaṃvāsana tayā, pūjālābhasatkāraparicaryopasaṃharaṇatayā ca | atrāpi yadāśritya yathā copasaṃharati tatparidīpitam | kimāśritya | nihatamānatām | kathamupasaṃharati | yathoktaṃ tribhiḥ prakārairhīnasamaśiṣṭānāṃ bodhisattvānāṃ yathākramam ||



caturbhirdharmaiḥ samanvāgatā bodhisattvā nirāmiṣeṇa cittena dharmadānaṃ saṃprakāśayanti - antarāyasukhaprativedha tayā, mohalayāpanayanakauśalyatayā, nāthakaradharmārāmatayā ca | atrāpi yadāśritya | yathā ca saṃprakāśayanti tatparidīpitam | kimāśritya | lābhasatkārasyāntarāyakaratvaprativeghatām | kathaṃ saṃprakāśayanti | saṃdarśanato mūḍhānām, sa mādāpanataḥ samuttejana taśca pramādasaṅgānātmaparibhavena vā līnānām, saṃpraharṣaṇataḥ samyakpratipannānām, prakṛtyaiva ca dharmārāmatayā | prathamasyānyacatuṣkaḥ padaprabhedādibhirnirhāro veditavyaḥ ||



prabhidyasaṃdarśana[vi]niścayo yathānirdiṣṭeṣu skandhādiṣu dharmeṣu yathāyogamekāvacārakādīni | tatra -



ekāvacārako nāma praśno yenaikaṃ dharma pariśiṣṭaiḥ saha pratyekaṃ praśnayitvā tamapahāya dvitīyaṃ tenānyaiśca saha praśnayatyevamekaikasyaiva sarvān praśnayati | tadyathā yaścakṣurāyatanena samanvāgato rūpāyatanenāpi saḥ, yo vā rūpāyatanena cakṣurāyatanenāpi sa iti pūrvapādakaḥ | yaścakṣurāyatanena samanvāgataḥ śrotrāyatanenāpi sa ityatra catuṣkoṭikam | evaṃ yāvanmanaāyatanenāpi sa ityatra yathā yogaṃ yojayitavyam | dharmāyatanenāpi sa ityatra pūrvapādakaḥ | yo rūpāyatanena samanvāgataścakṣurāyatanenāpi saḥ, yo vā cakṣurāyatanena rūpāyatanenāpi sa iti paścātpādakaḥ | yo rūpāyatanena samanvāgataḥ śrotrāyatanenāpi sa ityatra cāpi paścātpādakaḥ | evaṃ yāvaddharmāyatanena yathāyogaṃ yojayitavyam | yaḥ śrotrāyatanena samanvāgataścakṣurāyatanenāpi sa ityatra catuṣkoṭikam | evaṃ yāvaddhamayi tanenā[pi] yojyam | evamekaṃkāmarṣeṇānukramaśaḥ sarvāṇyāyatanāni parasparaṃ yojayitavyāni |



pūrvapādakaṃ dvayordharmayoḥ kathaṃcideva dharmamārabhya parasparaṃ pṛṣṭayoḥ pūrvadharmamadhiṣṭhāya yadvayākriyate | tadyathā yajjñānaṃ jñeyamapi tadyadvā jñeyaṃ jñānamapi taditi | pūrvapādakam - yattāvajjñānaṃ jñeyamapi taditi | syājjñeyaṃ na jñānam, tadanye dharmā iti ||



paścātpādakaṃ tathaiva dvayordharmayoḥ parasparaṃ pṛṣṭayoryatpaścimamadhiṣṭhāya vyākriyate | tadyathā yadgrāhyaṃ grāhakamapi tadyadvā grāhakaṃ grāhyamapi taditi | paścātpādakam - yattāvadgrāhakaṃ grāhyamapi tat | syādgrāhyaṃ na grāhakam, rūpādayaḥ pañca viṣayā dharmāyatanaṃ ca saṃprayuktakavarjyam ||



dvikoṭikaṃ yatra dve koṭī vyākriyete tadanyāsaṃbhavāt tadyathā skandhasya vyavasthānaṃ dhātuvyavasthānaṃ ca nigamayyocyate - yā skandhasaṃkhyā dhātusaṃkhyāpi sā, yā vā dhātusaṃkhyā skandhasaṃkhyāpi seti | dvikoṭikam - syāt skandhasaṃkhyā na dhātusaṃkhyā, rūpaskandho vijñānaskandhaścaḥ | tathāhi naiko dhāturasti yaḥ sakalarūpaskandhalakṣaṇo vā syāt sakalavijñānaskandhalakṣaṇo vā | dhātusaṃkhyā na skandha saṃkhyāḥ, dharmadhāturiti ||



trikoṭikai yatra tistra eva koṭayo vyākriyante | tadyathā yā skandha saṃkhyā ''yatanasaṃkhyāpi sā, yā vā''yatanasaṃkhyā skandhasaṃkhyāpi se ti | trikoṭikam - syāt skandhasaṃkhyā nāyatanasaṃkhyā, rūpaskandhaḥ | syādāyatanasaṃkhyā na skandhasaṃkhyā, dharmāyatanam | syāt skandhasaṃkhyāyatanasaṃkhyā ca vijñānaskandho manaāyatanaṃ ca | anubhayasaṃkhyāyāḥ skandhāyataneṣvasaṃbhava eveti ||



catuṣkoṭikaṃ yatra catastro'pi koṭayo vyākriyante | tadyathā yaścakṣurindriyeṇa samanvāgataḥ śrotrendriyeṇāpi saḥ, yo vā śrotrendriyeṇa samanvāgataścakṣurindriyeṇāpi sa iti | catuṣkoṭikam - prathamā koṭirutpannāvihīnacakṣurbadhiraḥ | dvitīyotpannāvihīnaśrotro'ndhaḥ | tṛtīyotpannāvihīnacakṣuḥśrotraḥ | caturthī tānākārān sthāpayitvā ||



oṃkāritaṃ yatra praśne vyākaraṇamomiti kriyate evametadityabhyupagamyata ityarthaḥ | tadyathā ye'nityāḥ sarve te saṃskārāḥ, ye vā saṃskārāḥ sarve te'nityā iti pṛṣṭena omiti vyākartavyam ||



prātikṣepikaṃ yatra neti pratikṣipyate | tadyathā skandhavinirmuktāḥ saṃskārāḥ katibhiḥ satyaiḥ saṃgṛhītā iti | prātikṣepikam - na santi skandha vinirmuktāḥ saṃskārā iti ||



saṃpraśnaviniścayaḥ - aṣṭākāraḥ kāpadeśastadyathā ko nopalabhate | prajñāpāramitālābhī bodhisattvaḥ | kiṃ nopalabhate | grāhyalakṣaṇaṃ grāhakalakṣaṇaṃ ca | kena nopalabhate | prajñāpāramitayā | kasmai nipalabhate | sarvasattvaparitrāṇārthamanuttarāyai samyaksaṃbodhaye | kuto nopalabhate | buddhotpādārāgaṇataḥ saddharmaśravaṇato yoniśomanaskārato dharmānudharmapratipattitaśca | kasya nopalabhate | sarvadharmāṇām | kutra nopalabhate | adhimukticaryābhūmau yāvaddaśamyāṃ bodhisattva bhūmau | kativighaścānupalambhaḥ | ekādaśavidhaḥ - utpannaviruddhaḥ, anutpannaḥ, saṃmukhībhūtaḥ, hetuvalotpannaḥ, mitravalotpannaḥ, sarvadharmānupalambhaḥ , śūnyatānupalambhaḥ, sāsmimānaḥ, nirasmimānaḥ, asaṃbhṛtasaṃbhārasya, [saṃbhṛtasaṃbhārasya] ca | ete cānupalambhā yat kiṃcidatītānāgatapratyutpannaṃ yāvadyadvā dūre yadvā'ntika ityetadanukramānusāreṇa draṣṭavyāḥ ||



yathā kāpadeśa evaṃ yāpadeśaḥ | yo nopalabhate yadyena yasmai yato yasya yatra nopalabhate yāvadvividha ścānupalambha iti ||



api khalu catvāro viniścayamārgā dūṣakādayaḥ | tatra dūṣakaḥ durākhyātasya parapakṣasyāsādhurayamiti pratiṣedhakaḥ | sādhakaḥ svākhyātasya svapakṣasya sādhurayamiti pratiṣṭhāpakaḥ | chedakaḥ pareṣāmutpannotpanneṣu saṃśayeṣu niścayadāyakaḥ | bodhakasteṣvartheṣu samūḍhānāṃ tadarthavyutpādakaḥ ||



kṛtyānuṣṭhānaviniścayo laukikānāmanyonyaṃ jīvikopāyādisamarthanaprayojanam | avatāraviniścayastrayāṇāṃ yānānāṃ katamasminyāne'vatareyamavatārayeyaṃ ceti vicāraṇā | adhimuktiviniścayaḥ śrutamayyā prajñayā yathādeśanaṃ saṃpratyayaḥ | yuktiviniścayaḥ cintāmayyā prajñayā paurvāparyeṇābhiprāyaparitulanam | sāṃkathyaviniścayo yathāśrutacintitānāṃ praśna pratipraśnakriyāyogenānyonyaṃ dharmasaṃbhogaḥ | prativedhaviniścayo darśanamārgastena satyaprativedhāt | viśuddhiviniścayo bhāvanāmārgastenāvaśeṣa kleśa viśoghanāt | abhinirhāraviniścayo viśeṣamārgastena vaiśeṣikaguṇābhinirhārāt | padaprabhedaviniścayo dvikatrikacatuṣkādiprakārābhinirhāramukhenā paryantā dharmadeśanā | anābhogābhogamātrasarvārthasiddhiviniścayastathāgataṃ jñānam, vinā pūrvābhogena sarveṣvartheṣvābho gasahakālamasaṃ gāpratihatajñāna darśanapravṛtteḥ ||



vādavini ścayo vādavādādhikaraṇādiṣu kauśalyam ||

tatra



sarva vacanaṃ vādaḥ | prakāraśo loke vādaḥ pravādaḥ | viruddhayorvādo vivādaḥ | apavādo garhito vādaḥ | anukūlo vādo'nuvādaḥ sāṃkathyaviniścayaḥ | avagamāya vādo'vavādaḥ ||



[vādādhikaraṇam] atra vādaḥ kriyata iti kṛtvā | rājakulaṃ yatra rājā svayaṃ saṃnihitaḥ yuktakulaṃ yatra rājñā'dhiyuktāḥ sabhā vaṇik sabhādi | prāmāṇikāḥ sahāyakāḥ yeṣāṃ vacanaṃ vādiprativādinau na saṃśayataḥ | dharmārthakuśalāśca śramaṇabrāhmaṇā ye teṣu śāstreṣu granthataścārthataśca vyutpannabuddhayaḥ ||



vādādhiṣṭhānaṃ yadadhiṣṭhāya vādaḥ kriyate tadyathā sādhyaṃ sādhanaṃ ca ||



tatra svabhāvaḥ sādhya ātmasvabhāvo dharmasvabhāvaśca nāstīti vāstīti vā ||



viśeṣaḥ sādhya ātmaviśeṣo dharmaviśeṣaśca sarvagato na sarvagato nityānityo rūpyarūpītyevamādibhiḥ prakāraiḥ ||



pratijñā sādhyasya svarucitārthasya parasaṃprāpaṇavijñāpanā | sādhyagrahaṇaṃ yadi na kriyeta siddhasyāpi svapakṣasya pareṣāṃ deśanā pratijñā prasajyeta | svarucitārthagrahaṇaṃ na kriyeta parapakṣasyāpi sādhyasya vacanaṃ pratijñā prasajyeta | paragrahaṇaṃ na kriyeta ekākino'pi tadvacanaṃ pratijñā prasajyeta | saṃprāpaṇagrahaṇaṃ na kriyeta kāyenāpi tadarthābhinayanaṃ pratijñā prasajyeta | vijñāpanāgrahaṇaṃ na kriyetā'vijñāte'pi tadarthe śrotṛbhiḥ pratijñā prasajyeta | yathokte tu vyavasthāne sarva ete doṣā na bhavanti, tasmādevamasyā vyavasthānaṃ veditavyam |



hetustasminneva sādhye'pratītasyārthasya saṃpratyayanimittaṃ pratyakṣopalaṃbhānupalaṃbhasamākhyānama | saṃpratyayanimittārtha iha hetvartha iti darśayati | tathāhi pratyakṣā nupalaṃbhādupalaṃbhādvetyanena samākhyānena tasmin sādhye'pratītasyārthasya saṃpratyaya utpadyate | tena tatsamākhyātaṃ tanni mittatvāddheturityucyate | pratyakṣopalaṃbhānupalaṃbhau punaḥ svabhāvaṃ liṅgaṃ cādhikṛtya veditavyau ||



dṛṣṭānto dṛṣṭenāntenādṛṣṭasyāntasya samīkaraṇasamākhyānam, pratītena bhāgenāpratītasya bhāgasya pratyāyanāya samākhyānamityarthaḥ ||



upanayaḥ śiṣṭatajjātīyataddharmopagamāya naya tvasamākhyānam | yathā sādhyo'rthastribhiravayavaiḥ sādhitastathā śiṣṭānāmapi tajjātīyānāṃ sādhyānāṃ sādhitārthadharmopagamāya nayatvena samākhyānaṃ yuktyā'tideśa upanayaḥ ||



nigamanaṃ niṣṭhāgamanasamākhyānam | yasmādevaṃ yuktyā sūpapannaṃ tasmāditthamevedamityetannigamanaṃ veditavyam ||



eṣāṃ pratijñādīnāmidamudāharaṇamātraṃ pradarśyate || tadyathā



nairātmyavādinastadrūpe'dhikaraṇe saprativādike nāstyātmeti vacanaṃ pratijñā ||



skandhavijñaptau caturvidhadoṣopalaṃbhāditi hetuḥ | sa hyātmā prajñapyamānaḥ skandhalakṣaṇo vā prajñapyeta, skandheṣu vā, anyatra vā skandhebhyaḥ, askandhako vā | tadyadi skandhalakṣaṇastenāsvatantrāḥ skandhāḥ pratītyasamutpannā udagavyayadharmāṇa stallakṣaṇa ātmā nopapadyata iti doṣaḥ | atha skandheṣu tenānityaskandhāśrita ātmā'nityaḥ prāpnotīti doṣaḥ | athānyatra skandhebhyastena nirdehaka ātmā niṣprayojana iti doṣaḥ | athāskandhakastena prakṛtyaiva muktasya kevalino mokṣārthaprayatnavaiyarthyamiti doṣaḥ ||



vartamāne'tītaprajñaptivaditi dṛṣṭāntaḥ | taddhayatītaṃ vidyamānalakṣaṇatvena prajñapyamānaṃ vartamānalakṣaṇaṃ vā prajñapyeta, vartamāne vā anyatra vā vartamānāt vartamānanirapekṣaṃ vā | tadyadi vartamānalakṣaṇaṃ tena vartamānamutpannāniruddhatallakṣaṇamatītamutpannā niruddhātmakamiti doṣaḥ | atha vartamāne tenāniruddhe niruddhātmakasya saṃbandho na yujyata iti doṣaḥ | athānyatra vartamānāttena vartamānaṃ hitvā na kiṃcittadvastūpalabhyate yatra tatprajñapyata iti doṣaḥ | atha vartamānanirapekṣaṃ tenāsaṃskṛtamapyatītaṃ prāpnotīti doṣaḥ | taccātītaṃ bhraṣṭalakṣaṇatvāllakṣaṇato nāstīti siddham | ato'nena vartamānaprajñaptau caturdoṣeṇa siddhenā siddha ātmā nāstīti skandhaprajñaptau caturvidhadoṣopalaṃbhāt prasādhyate nāstīti ||



evamātmaviparyāsaṃ pratiṣidhyaitayaiva yuktayā nityādayo'pi na santītyatideśa upanayaḥ ||



yasmādetadevaṃ tasmādanityāḥ pañca skandhāḥ yāvadanātmāna iti nigamanamiti ||



pratyakṣaṃ svasatprakāśābhrānto'rthaḥ | tatra svo'rtha stadyathā cakṣuṣo rūpam | sadgrahaṇaṃ ghaṭādidravyāṇāṃ loke pratyakṣasaṃmatānāṃ pratyakṣatvavyudāsārtha prajñaptimātratvāt | prakāśagrahaṇamāvṛtatvādibhiranupalabdhikāraṇairanābhāsagata viṣayavyudāsārtham | abhrāntagrahaṇamalātacakramāyāmarīcikādivyudāsārthamiti ||



anumānaṃ pratyakṣaśiṣṭasaṃpratyayaḥ | pratyakṣādyadanyacchiṣṭamapratyakṣaṃ niyamena tatsahavarti prasiddhaṃ draṣṭuḥ pūrva tasya tatpratyakṣamīkṣamāṇasya tadanyasmin śiṣṭasaṃpratyaya utpadyate tenāpyatra bhavitavyametat sahavartineti tatpratyakṣapūrvakamanumānam | tadyathā dhūmaṃ paśyato'gnāviti ||



āptāgamastadubhayāviruddhopadeśaḥ | yatropadeśe tatpratyakṣamanumānaṃ ca sarvathā na virudhyete na vyabhicarataḥ sa āptāgamaḥ saṃpratyayitvāt ||



vādālaṃkāro yena yukto vādī vādaṃ kurvāṇo'tyartha śobhate | sa punaḥ svaparasamayajñatādiḥ | tatra svaparasamayajñatā svasiddhāntaṃ parasiddhāntaṃ cārabhya granthataścārthataśca paurvāparyeṇa nirantaraṃ vyutpattiparipākaḥ | vākkaraṇasaṃpat śabdavādino vakṣyamāṇakathādoṣaviparyayeṇānākulādivāditā | vaiśāradyamanekodāhārābhiniviṣṭavidvajjanasamā varte'pi bruvato nirāsthatā gatavyathatā | sthairya prativādino vacanāvasānamāgamayyātvaramāṇabhāṣitā | dākṣiṇyaṃ prakṛtibhadratā prāśnikaprativādicittānuvartitā ||



vādanigraho yena vādī nigṛhīta ityucyate | sa punaḥ kathātyāgādibhiḥ | tatra kathātyāgo'sādhu mama sādhu tavetyevamādibhiḥ prakāraiḥ svaparavādadoṣaguṇābhyupagamaḥ | kathāsādo'nyenānyapratisaraṇādibhiḥ vikṣepa ityarthaḥ | yathoktaṃ sūtre - āyuṣmāṃścundikastīrthikaiḥ saha vādaṃ kurvannavajānitvā pratijānāti pratijānitvā'vajānātīti | kathādoṣa ākulā divacanam | tatra ākulaṃ yadadhikāramutsṛjya vicitrakathāpratānanam | saṃrabdhaṃ yatkopoddhavaṃ dravo ddhavam | agamakaṃ yaddharmato'rthataśca parṣadvādibhyāmagṛhītam | amitaṃ yadadhikaṃ punaruktārtha jñātārtha ca | anarthamanarthayuktam, tatpañcākāraṃ draṣṭavyam | nirarthakam, apārthakam, yuktibhinnam, sādhyasamam, jāticchalopasaṃhitam, arthānupalabdhito'saṃbaddhārthato 'naikānti[ka]taḥ sādhanasyāpi sādhyato'yoniśo'sabhyasarvavādānugamataśca | akālayuktavacanaṃ yatpūrvakaṃ vaktavyaṃpaścādabhihitam, paścādvaktavyaṃ pūrvamabhihitam |



asthiraṃ yatpratijñāyāvajñātamavajñāya pratijñātamatitvaramāṇayā vācā hi tūrṇaparāmṛṣṭaḥ | [a] pradīptavacanaṃ yacchandalakṣaṇasamatikrāntamapratyanubhāṣyottaravihittam, saṃskṛtenārabhya prākṛtenāvasitam, prākṛtenārabhya saṃskṛtena paryavasitaṃ ca | aprabaddhaṃ yadantarādhiṣṭhitavicchinnaṃ vākpratibhānamiti ||



vāda niḥsaraṇaṃ yena vādānniḥsarati, akaraṇena vā guṇadoṣau vicārya vādasya nigrahasthānānāsādanāt, karaṇena vā nirvahanāditi | tatra prativādinyabhājanatā'kuśalātsthānādvyutthāpya kuśale sthāne pratiṣṭhāpayitumaśakyatā | parṣado vaiguṇyamasabhyābhiniviṣṭapakṣapātitādinā | ātmano'kauśalyaṃ vāde yāvadvādālaṅkāre 'vyutpattiḥ viparyayātprativādibhājanatādīni veditavyāni ||



vāde bahukarā dharmā ye vāde'vaśyamupayujyante |

tadyathā svaparasamayajñatā vāde bahukaro dharmo yena sarvatra kathā vastuni vādaṃ karoti | śeṣaṃ sugamam ||



kuśalapakṣaprayuktenetyuktvā pratipattisārakeṇeti vacanamāśayaviśuddhijñāpanārtha na lābhasatkārādinimittaṃ śrutādikuśalapakṣe prayuktenetyarthaḥ | sattvasaṃgrāhakeṇeti śrāvakādiviśeṣaṇārtha parahitapratipattipradhānenetyarthaḥ | evaṃ ca svahitaparahitapratipannaḥ kṣipramanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbudhyata ityayameṣāṃ padānāmanusaṃdhirveditavyaḥ | avigṛhyāpi tāvadvāde kriyamāṇe prakṛtigambhīratvānmahāyānadharmasya durlabhā''jñā prāgeva vigṛhya | yaiśca saha vigṛhya vādaḥ kriyate te'pi pratipattāro nājñābhiprāyāḥ pratibruvanti kiṃtarhyupālambhābhiprāyāḥ | yeṣvapi prāśnikeṣu sa vādaḥ kriyate te vā'sabhyā avyutpannā vā bhavantyabhiniviṣṭā vā | sarvo'pi ca vādā prāyeṇa ṣaḍbhirdoṣairyukto bhavati | tathāhi vādaṃ kurvāṇaḥ kadācidatirabhasenāsatpakṣamapi parigṛhyābhiniveśena chalajātinigrahasthānānyapi prayukte | vacanaparyavasānamanigamayyāpyakālena vaktumārabhate | samyagapyuktāṃ prativādinaḥ kathāmapapātayati paṃsayatītyarthaḥ | paruṣamapi bruvate, yena prativādyādayaḥ cittaṃ pradūṣayanti | svayaṃ ca teṣu cittaṃ pradūṣayatītyebhiḥ ṣaḍbhirdoṣai ryukto bhavati ||



upaśāntasya ca durlabho vādaḥ | sati cānupaśame durlabhaṃ paracittānurakṣaṇaṃ svacittānurakṣaṇaṃ ca yena pare prasādaṃ labheran vimuktyāyatanayogena svacittaṃ samādhīyate | prāyeṇa vāde kathamahaṃ jayeyaṃ pare parājīyerannityevaṃ cittaṃ samudācarati | sati ca tasmin paridāhaduḥkhasaṃkleśaḥ | tasminsatyasparśavihāraḥ | tato nirantarakuśalapakṣaprayogāsāmarthyāttato viśeṣādhigamaṃ pratyaprāptiparihāṇiriti ||



mātaraṃ pitaraṃ hatvā ityasyāṃ gāthāyāṃ loke yadatyarthamavadyaṃ pātaka tadabhidhāyīnyakṣarāṇyetāni viṃśuddhau pariṇāmitāni | kiṃ ca loke'tyarthamavadyaṃ saṃmatam | gurujanaghāto mahājanaghātaśca | sa punargurujano dvividhaḥ pratiniyato loka[sādhāraṇaśca] | lokasādhāraṇo'pi punadvividhaḥ - paripālako dakṣiṇīyaśca | tatra pratiniyato gurujano mātā pitā ca, pālako rājā, dakṣiṇīyaḥ śrotriyabrāhmaṇāḥ, teṣāṃ śuddhatarasamatatvāt | tadeṣāṃ sarveṣāṃ ghāto gurujanaghāta ityucyate | mahājanaghāto rāṣṭrasya sānucarasya ghātaḥ | anucarāḥ punaḥ gavāśvamahiṣo ṣṭrādayo veditavyāḥ ||



kathaṃ punaretā nyakṣarāṇi viśuddhau pariṇāmyante | mātrādighātavacanasya tṛṣṇādiprahāṇapariṇāmanā dyathākramaṃ tṛṣṇām, karmabhavam , sopādānaṃ vijñānam, dṛṣṭiśīlavrataparāmarśadvayam, ṣaḍāyatanaṃ ca sagocaramadhikṛtya mātrādayo draṣṭavyāḥ, tatsādharmyāt | tatra tṛṣṇā nirvṛtti hetuḥ | karmabhava utpattihetuḥ | sa ca bhāvanābījāghānayogena pitṛbhūto draṣṭavyaḥ | ābhyāṃ hetubhyāṃ sopādānaṃ vijñānaṃ pravartate | tasyaivaṃ pravartamānasya satyapi mokṣābhilāṣe mokṣaprāptivighnakarāvanupāyāgraśuddhipratyāyakau parāmarśau | śrotriyasādharmyamanayoretadeva veditavyaṃ yadutāgraśuddhayabhiniveśaḥ | tasyaiva punarvijñānasyāśrayālaṃbanabhāvena ṣaḍāyatanaṃ sagācaraṃ veditavyamiti ||



aśrāddhaścākṛtajñaścetyasyāṃ gāthāyāṃ hīnārthābhidhāyīnyakṣarāṇyuttamārtha paridīpitāni | hīno loke caturvidhaḥ - manaskarmahīnaḥ kāyakarmahīno vākkarmahīna upabhogahīnaśca | manaskarmahīnaḥ punardvividhaḥ kuśalapravṛttivailomyena cāśrāddhaḥ, paralokādyasaṃpratyayena dānādiṣvaprayogāt | akuśalapravṛttyānukūlyena cākṛtajñaḥ, yatropakārānapekṣitvena mātṛvadhādiduścarite nirmaryādatvāt | kāyakarmahīnaścauraḥ saṃdhicchedakaḥ atyarthagarhitajīvitatvāt | vākkarmahīno mṛṣāvādādi pradhānaḥ, tadrūpasya sabhādiṣu praveśābhāvāt | upabhogahī naḥ śvā kā kaḥ preto vetyevamādikaḥ, charditabhakṣaṇāditi ||



kathaṃ punaretā nyakṣarāṇyuttamārthe pariṇāmyante | aśrāddhādivacanānā marhati pariṇāmanāt | tatrāśrāddho vimuktijñānadarśanayogena svapratyayatvāt | akṛtajño'saṃskṛtanirmāṇajñānāt | saṃdhicchettā punarbhavapratisaṃdhihetukleśaprahāṇāt | hatāvakāśa āyatyāṃ sarvagatiṣu duḥkhānabhinirvartanāt | vāntāśo dṛṣṭe dharme upakaraṇabalena kāyaṃ saṃdhā rayato'pi bhogajīvitāśābhāvāditi ||



yathā coktam - asāre sāramataya iti | asyā gāthāyāḥ pūrvavadarthanirdeśo draṣṭavyaḥ | śarīraṃ punarasyāḥ samādhi niśritya bodhisattvā darśanabhāvanāmārgābhyāṃ mahābodhiṃ spṛśantīti ||



mātsaryadharmatāmanuvṛṃhayatīti savāsanamātsaryānuśayaprahāṇena tattathatāśrayaparivṛttisākṣātkaraṇāt | dānena ca parikhidyate, dīrghakālaṃ dānanimittaṃ paramaduṣkaraśramābhyupagamāt | yācanakaṃ ca dveṣṭi, svayaṃ grāhābhirucitatayā yācanakaprātikūlyāt | na kiṃcit kadāciddadāti, sarvasya vastunaḥ sarvadā dānāt | dūre ca bhavati dānasya, āsādyadānā diparivarjanāt ||



tatra parameṇa brahmacaryeṇa samanvāgata iti loko ttareṇa mārgeṇetyarthaḥ | nānyatra maithunānmaithunasya niḥsaraṇaṃ paryeṣata iti tasyaiva yathābhūta parijñānena tatprahāṇāt | yathābhūtaparijñānaṃ punarasya tathatā pratibedhādveditavyam | maithunaprahāṇenopekṣako bhavati, abrahmacaryaprahāṇopekṣaṇāt | utpannaṃ ca maithunarāgamadhivāsayati, kāmarāgasyādhyātmamutpannasya bahiḥpravāsanāt | maithunapratipakṣeṇa ca dharmeṇottrasyati tatpratipakṣeṇa mārgeṇa sarvasattvottaraṇāya vyavasyatīti kṛtvā | abhīkṣṇaṃ ca dvayadvayaṃ samāpadyate saṃkleśavyavada nadvayena phalahetubhedena catuḥsatyātmakena [śamathavipaśyanādvayena] punaḥpunalaukikalokottaramārgadvayaṃ samāpadyata iti kṛtvā ||



kimupādāyedaṃ śāstramabhidharmasamuccaya iti nāma labhate | niruktinyāyena | sametyoccayatāmupādāya tattvamabhisametyādhigamya bodhisattvaṃḥ saṃkalanādityarthaḥ | samantāduccayatāmupādāyābhidharmasūtrataḥ sarvacintāsthānasaṃgrahādityarthaḥ | samyaguccayatvāyāyatanatāṃ copādāyetyaviparītenopāyena yāvadbuddhatvaprāpaṇādityarthaḥ || ityabhidharmasamuccaye bhāṣyataḥ sāṃkathyaviniścayo nāma pañcamaḥ samuccayaḥ samāptaḥ ||
