dharmaviniścayo nāma tṛtīyaḥ samuccayaḥ
dharmaviniścaye dharmo dvādaśāṅgaṃ vacogatam ||
tatra sūtraṃ yadabhipretārthasūcanākāreṇa gadyabhāṣitam | kiṃ punaḥ kāraṇaṃ tathāgatastamabhipretamartha vivṛtyaiva na deśayatītyāha daśānuśaṃsān saṃpaśyaṃstathāgataḥ sūcanākāreṇa dharma deśayati | sukhaṃ vyavasthāpayati, daiśikairhi, bahudhā vyavasthāpya prāpaṇīyasyārthasya, saṃkṣipyākṛcchreṇa vyavasthāpanāt | sukhaṃ deśayati, alpena mahato'rthavistarasya pratyāyanāt, tadyathā sthāpayati saṃsthāpayatītyevamādi | śrotā'pi sukhamudgṛhṇāti | dharmagauravatayā kṣipraṃ saṃbhārān paripūrayati, bhāvagamyo'yaṃ dharma ityavagamya jātāsthasya tasmin dharme ādaramukhena śraddhādisaṃbhāraparipūraṇāt | āśu dharmatāṃ pratividhyati, tathādaraprayogiṇaḥ prajñāyāḥ taikṣṇībhāvāt | ratneṣvavetya prasādaṃ pratilabhate, deśanāyāḥ suvyavasthitabhāvagamena daiśikādiṣvabhiprasādotpādāt | paramadṛṣṭadharmasukhavihāraṃ spṛśati, abhiprāyārtha tīvreṇa yogena cintayitvā labdhavataḥ prāmodyaviśeṣādhigamāt | sāṃka thyaviniścayena satāṃ cittamārādhayati, gūḍhārthavivaraṇāt, ata eva paṇḍitaḥ paṇḍita iti saṃkhyāṃ gacchati, yaśo'sya samantānniścaratītyarthaḥ | ubhayaṃ caitatpaścimasabhisamayaiko'nuśaṃso draṣṭavyaḥ ||
nītārtha sūtraṃ vyākaraṇam tena vivṛtyābhisaṃdhivyākaraṇāt ||
udānaṃ yadāttamanaskenodāhṛtam tadyathā yadā ime prādurbhavanti dharmā ityevamādi ||
nidānaṃ yatkiṃcideva pudgalamuddiśya bhāṣitaṃ sotpattikaśikṣā prajñaptikabhāṣitaṃ vā, tadyathāsminnidāne'smin prakaraṇa iti vistaraḥ ||
avadānaṃ sadṛṣṭāntakaṃ bhāṣitam , tenārthavyavadānādabhivyañjanādityarthaḥ ||
vaipulyaṃ vaidalyaṃ vaitulyamityete mahāyānasya paryāyāḥ, tadetatsaptavidhamahattvayogānmahattvayānamityucyate | saptavidhaṃ mahatvam -- ālaṃbanamahattvaṃ śatasāhastrikādisūtrāparimitadeśanādharmā laṃbanādbodhisattvamārgasya | pratipattimahattvaṃ sakalasvaparārtha pratipatteḥ | jñānamahatvaṃ pudgaladharmanairātmyajñānāt | vīryamahatvaṃ triṣu mahākalpāsaṃkhyeyeṣvanekaduṣkaraśatasahastraprayogāt | upāyakauśalyamahattvaṃ saṃsāranirvāṇāpratiṣṭhānāt | prāptimahatvaṃ valavaiśāradyāveṇikabuddhadharmādyaprameyāsaṃkhyeyaguṇādhigamāt | karmamahatvaṃ yāvatsaṃsārabodhyādisandarśanena buddhakāryānuṣṭhānāditi ||
upadeśo yatrāviparītena dharma lakṣaṇena sūtrādīnāmarthanirdeśaḥ |
nidānaṃ sotpattikaśikṣāprajñaptibhāṣitasaṃgṛhītaṃ vinayapiṭakam, avadānā dikaṃ tasya parivāro veditavyaḥ | adbhutadharmāṇāṃ bodhisattvasūtrapiṭake saṃgrahaṇam, teṣāṃ viśeṣeṇācintyodāraprabhāvaviśeṣayogāt | upadeśa ubhayatra śrāvakayāne mahāyāne cābhidharmapiṭakam ||
sūtrapiṭakavyavasthānaṃ vicikitsopakleśapratipakṣeṇa vineyānāmutpannānutpanna saṃśayacchedādhikāreṇa sūtrageyādi deśanāt | vinayapiṭaka vyavasthānamantadvayānuyogopakleśapratipakṣeṇa, saṃnidhikāraparibhogādipratikṣepāt śata sāhastrakavastrānujñānācca | antadvayaṃ punaḥ kāmasukhallikānta ātmaklemathāntaśca | abhidharma vyavasthānaṃ svayaṃdṛṣṭiparāmarśopakleśapratipakṣeṇa, tatra vistareṇa dharmalakṣaṇasthāpanāt ||
punaḥ sūtrapiṭakaṃ niśritya vineyāḥ śikṣātraye vyutpadyante, tatra tasya vistareṇodbhāvitatvāt | vinayaṃ niśrityādhiśīlamadhicittaṃ śikṣāṃ niṣpādayanti, tatra prātimokṣasaṃvaraśikṣāmārgopadeśaniśrayeṇa śīlapariśodhanāttatpariśuddhikṛtāvipratisārādyānupūrvyā ca cittasamādhānāt | abhidharmaniśrityādhiprajñaṃ śikṣāṃ niṣpādayanti, tatra vistareṇa dharmapravicayopāyopadeśāditi ato'pi piṭakatrayavyavasthānam ||
punaḥ sūtrapiṭakaṃ niśritya granthārthavyutpattiḥ | vinayaṃ niśritya tadubhayasākṣātkriyā, śikṣāpratipattiprabhāvi[ta] tvā - dvinayasya | tato dharmārthayoḥ sākṣātkriyāyāḥ padasthānamityucyate āśrayārthena | abhidharma niśritya parasparaṃ sāṃkathyaviniścayakṛtena dharmasaṃbhogena sparśavihāro bhavati, tatra bahuprakāraṃ dharmāṇāṃ sva lakṣaṇādidharmatāyā vyutpādanāt ||
etānyeva trīṇi piṭakāni caturaśītidharmaskandhasahastrāṇi bhavanti, śrāvakayānādhikāreṇa yāni sthavirānandenodgṛhītāni || kiṃ punarekasya dharmaskandha[sya] parimāṇam | daśaśatasaṃkhyo dharmaskandhaḥ sahastrasaṃkhya ityarthaḥ | yadyevaṃ sahastrasaṃkhya ityevaṃ ki nocyate | sāhastrikaikaskandhavyavasthāne prayojanajñāpanārtham | tathāhyekādivṛddhayā daśasaṃkhyā śatasaṃkhyā sahastrādisaṃkhyāḥ | taddaśaśatasaṃkhyā upaniṣado draṣṭavyāḥ | tadyathā daśa śatāni sahastram, śataṃ sahastrāṇāṃ śatasahastram, śataṃ śatasahastrāṇāṃ koṭirityevaṃ sarvāsūttarāsu saṃkhyāsvavaśyamanayoḥ daśaśatasaṃkhyayo ranyataropaniṣadbhavati | ata ete eva samasya daśaśatānyeko dharmaskandho vyavasthāpyate | anayā ca gaṇanayā caturaśītidharma skandhasahastrāṇyaṣṭau koṭyaḥ catvāriśacca lakṣā bhavanti ||
sa eṣa piṭakatrayasaṃgṛhīto dharmaḥ kasya gocaraḥ | śrutamayādīnāṃ cittacaitasikānāṃ gocara ālaṃbanamityarthaḥ |
etatprasaṃgena sālaṃbanādilakṣaṇānāṃ cittacaitasikānāṃ dharmamārabhyālaṃvanādikaṃ vyavasthāpyate | tatra dharme teṣāṃ kimālaṃbanam | sūtrādi nāmapadavyañjanakāyasaṃgṛhītā sūtrādideśanetyarthaḥ | ākāraḥ, yān skandhādīnartha prakārānārabhya sā deśanā, tadākārāste cittacaitasikā veditavyāḥ | āśrayaḥ para vijñaptismṛtirvāsanā ca | tatra deśanākāle paravijñaptirāśrayo yo'sāvucyate parato ghoṣata iti tata uttarakālaṃ smṛtirāśrayo yathāśrutamanusmṛtyābhyasanāt | tata uttarakālaṃ vāsanā''śrayastadanusmṛtimantareṇāpi paścādabhyāsabhāvanā balena pratibhāsanāditi | saṃprayogaḥ cittacaitasikānāmanyonyasahāyabhāvena sūtrādyālaṃbane skandhādipratisaṃyuktārthākāraiḥ saṃpratipattiḥ ||
dharme ālaṃbana prabhedo vyāpyālaṃbanādikaścaturvidhaḥ |
vyāpyālaṃbanaṃ punaḥ savikalpapratibimbādibhedena caturbidham | tatra adhimuktimanaskāra ekāntalaukiko yo manaskāraḥ | tattvamanaskāro lokottarastatpṛṣṭhalabdhaśca | yāvadbhāvikatayā dharmāṇāmetāvanti sarvadharmavastuni yajjñeyavyavasthānam tadyathā skandhadhātvāyatanāni | yathāvadbhāvikatayā ebhiḥ prakāraiḥ sujñeyamiti | tadyathā satyamukhena tānyeva skandhadhātvāyatanāni yathāsaṃbhavaṃ duḥkhatojñeyāni yāvanmārgataḥ | ākāramukhenaikaikaṃ satyaṃ caturbhirākārairjñeyam, aviśeṣataśca sarvāṇi tathatākāreṇa | dharmoddānādhikāreṇa vā'nityataḥ sarvasaṃskārā jñeyā yāvacchāntato nirvāṇam | vimokṣādhikāreṇa vā śūnyato yāvadanimitta[ta] iti || kāryapariniṣpattirāśrayapariniṣpattiḥ, parinivṛttāśrayasyāviparītālaṃbanasaṃprakhyānāt | yathāvadbhāvikatāyā nirdaśe ṣoḍaśaprakārā uktāstrayaśca vimokṣākārāḥ teṣāṃ cānyonyasaṃgrahaḥ | katha kṛtvā | ṣo ḍaśānāmākārāṇāṃ dvau śūnyatākārau - śūnyākārā'nātmākāraśca | ṣaḍapraṇihitākārāḥ - anityākārā duḥkhākāro hetusamudayaprabhavapratyayākārāśca, taistraidhātuke'praṇidhānāt | aṣṭāvinimittākārāḥ śeṣāḥ nirodhamārgayornimittokartumaśakyatvāt ||
caritaviśodhanamālaṃbanaṃ rāgacaritādīnāmaśubhādi, tenotsadarāgādyupaśamanāt ||
avidyādayo dharmāḥ saṃskārādīndharmānabhiṣyandayanti, na hyeṣāṃ nirhetuka utpādo nāpīśvarādiviṣamahetuka iti yajjñānamidaṃ pratītyasamutpāda kauśalyam | dharmamātrahetukatve'pi satyanurūpāddhetoranurūpasyaiva phalasyotpattiḥ, tadyathā sucaritasyeṣṭo vipāko duścaritasyāniṣṭa ityevamādi yajjñānamidaṃ sthānāsthānakauśalyaṃ veditavyam ||
kleśaviśodhanamālaṃbanaṃ laukikamārgādhikāreṇādhaūrdhvabhūmīnāmaudārikaśāntatā, tena paryavasthānaviṣkambhaṇāt | lokottaramārgādhikāreṇa samāsatastathatā, vyāsena catvāryāryasatyāni, tenānuśayasamudghātāt ||
sūtrādidharmavicārāṇāṃ saṃbnadhena catastro yuktayo varṇyante, tābhistadvicāraṇāt || tatra apekṣāyuktiryā saṃskārāṇāmutpattau pratyayāpekṣā, tadyathāṅkurasyotpattau vījo dakakṣetrāṇyapekṣyante, vijñānasyendriyārthamanaskārā ityevamādi | kārya kāraṇayuktistadyathā cakṣurādīnāṃ cakṣurvijñānādyāśrayabhāvaḥ rūpādīnāmālaṃbanabhāvaḥ, cakṣurvijñānādīnāṃ rūpādiprativijñāpanam, suvarṇakārādīnāṃ ca śilpināṃ suvarṇādighaṭanamityevamādi | upapattisādhanayuktisvabhāvaviśeṣasaṃgṛhītasya sādhyasyārthasya pratyakṣādi pramāṇāviruddhaḥ pratijñādyupadeśaḥ | dharmatāyuktistadyathāgninā dāhaḥ, udakena kleda ityevamādikā prasiddhā dharmāṇāṃ dharmatā | yathoktaṃ cakṣuḥ samṛddhaṃ śūnyaṃ nityena yāvadātmīyena | tatkasya hetoḥ | prakṛtirasyaiṣeti ||
nāmaparyeṣaṇā nāmakāyādīnāṃ prajñapti sattvādapariniṣpannameṣāṃ svalakṣaṇa miti yā vicāraṇā | vastuparyeṣaṇā skandhādīnāṃ tathā 'pariniṣpattiryathā nāmakāyādibhirabhilapyanta iti yā saṃtīraṇā parīkṣaṇetyarthaḥ | svabhāvaprajñaptiparyeṣaṇā yā'bhidhānābhidheyasaṃbandhe svabhāvaprajñaptimātrasya vyavahāranimittatvena saṃtīraṇā | abhidhānābhidheyasaṃbandhaḥ | punaranyonya saṃpratyayanimittatvam | tathāhi vyutpannavyavahārasyābhidhānamātraṃ śrutvā tadabhidheye saṃpratyaya utpadyate smṛtimukhena, abhidheyaṃ vā punarupalabhya tadabhidhāne | ityevaṃvidhe saṃbandhe prasiddhe cakṣurityevamādisvalakṣaṇaprajñaptimātraṃ tadākhyāmāsapiṇḍādivyavahārasya nimittaṃ bhavatīti yā parīkṣeyamucyate svabhāvaprajñaptiparyeṣaṇā | viśeṣaprajñaptiparyeṣaṇā yā tathaivābhidhānābhidheya saṃbandhe nityānityotta rānuttararūpyasanidarśanānidarśanatā di viśeṣa lakṣaṇaprajñaptimātrasya vyavahāranimittatā saṃtīraṇā ||
catvāri yathābhūtaparijñānā ni yathāparyeṣitāni nāmādyanupalabdhijñānāni ||
samādhiprayuktasya yo gabhūmiḥ pañcākārā''dhārādiḥ | tatra ādhāro yādṛśaṃ bāhuśrutyaṃ śamathavipaśyanayoḥ pratiṣṭhā bhavatyālaṃbanayogena tadādhāra ityucyate | tatpunaḥ saṃbhṛta saṃbhārasya satyābhisamayamadhikṛtyodgṛhītaṃ yatsūtrādikaṃ śrutam | ādhānaṃ tadālaṃbano yoniśomanaskāraḥ , tena tasmin bāhuśrutye'viparītārtha cittākāreṇa cittākaraṇāt | ādarśastadbāhuśrutyālaṃbanaḥ sahanimittena samādhiḥ , jñeyavastusabhāgapratibimbākāra ityarthaḥ | ā darśatvaṃ punarasya tena jñeyabimbaparīkṣaṇādveditavyam | āloko grāhyagrāhakānupalabdhijñānaṃ darśanamārgasaṃgṛhītaṃ pratyakṣavṛttitvāditi | kathaṃ ca punaḥ bodhisattva ekasyāṃ yaugabhūmau prayukto nopalambhaṃ spṛśati saṃbhṛtapuṇyajñāna saṃbhāro bodhisattvaḥ kalpāsaṃkhyeyaniryātastathāprativedhānukūlaṃ śrutaṃ yoniśomanasi kurban samādhi niṣpādayati | sa evaṃ samāhite citte yajjñeyapratibimbaṃ, niśritya dhyāyati tatta smātsamāhitā ccittādananyaditi saṃparśyaṃ stasmin pratibimbe viṣayasaṃjñāṃ vyāvartya tadākāra svasaṃjñāmātramavadhārayati | tadā cāsau svacittamātrāvasthānādadhyātma sthitacitto bhavan sarvathā grāhyabhāvaṃ prativedayate | tataśca grāhyābhāvādgrāhakamapi na pariniṣpannamiti tasyāpyabhāvaṃ parivedayate | tataḥ pratyātmaṃ tadubhayasvabhāvopalambhāpagatamanupalambhamadhigacchati | etadeva cādhikṛtyoktaṃ bhagavatā pratibimbaṃ manaḥ paśyanni ti vistaraḥ | āśrayaḥ āśrayaparivṛttiḥ, dauṣṭhulyāpagamātpariśuddha āśraya ityarthaḥ | sā ceyaṃ yogabhūmirhetutaḥ phalataśca nirdiṣṭā veditavyā | tatrādhārādibhiścaturbhirhetunirdeśaḥ paścimenaikena phalanirdeśa iti ||
yaduktaṃ sthavirānandena - pañcabhirāyuṣmañchāriputra dharmaiḥ samanvāgato bhikṣurlaghu ca gṛhṇātī tyatra sūtre taireva pañcabhirdharmairlaghugrahaṇādīni catvāri yathāyogaṃ veditavyāni | catvāri kathaṃ kṛtvā | dharmakuśalo laghu gṛhṇāti bāhuśrutyātprāyeṇa bhinna padavyañjanatayā | arthakuśalo bahu gṛhṇāti, abhidharmādilakṣaṇajñatvāt, skandhadhātvādikathāvastvadhikāreṇa prabhūtagranthasaṃkalanataḥ | vyañjanakuśalo niruktikulaśca sūdgṛhītaṃ gṛhṇāti , sunirukta vyañjana jña tvādātmātmeti janapadaniruktimanabhiniviśyānuvyavahārajña tvācca granthārthayoraviparotagrahaṇataḥ | pūrvāntāparāntānusaṃdhikuśala udgṛhītaṃ na nāśayati, pūrvamudgahītāndharmānniśritya paścānniḥ sartavyamiti buddhā bhisaṃdhijña tvādadhigamena tatsārādānataḥ ||
dharmavihārī bhikṣurdharmavihāri bhikṣuriti bhadantocyata ityatra sūtre bhagavatā samastena śrutacintābhāvanāvihāreṇa dharmavihāro bhavati, nānyataraprayogamātreṇeti saṃdarśitam | tatra paryāptisvādhyāya deśanābahulā vitarkaṇā bahulāścetyanena kevalaṃ śrutacintāprayuktā na bhāvanāprayuktā yogādiriñcanādato[na] dharmavihāriṇo vyavasthāpyante | yo'pi kaścicchrutacintāmanāgamya kevalaṃ bhāvanāprayuktaḥ syātso'pi na dharmavihārī vyavasthāpyate | tata eva tāvaddharmavihāriṇaṃ bhikṣumārabhya iha tu bhikṣurddharma paryāpnoti sūtraṃ geyamiti vistareṇoktvā paścādāha na riñcati yogamityevamādi, yathā vijñāyeta śrutaṃ cintāṃ bhāvanāṃ cāgamya tadubhayavihāreṇa dharmavihārīti | na riñcati yāgamityevamādinā samādhiprayogāsaṃtuṣṭibhyāṃ bhāvanāmayaṃ saṃdarśitam | samādhi prayogaḥ punadvividhaḥ saṃdarśitaḥ sātatyasatkṛtyaprayogasaṃgṛhītaśca na riñcati yogamityanena, aviparīta[pra]yogasaṃgṛhītaśca na riñcati manaskāramityanena | asaṃtuṣṭirna riñcatyadhyātmacetaḥ śamathamityanena saṃdarśitā, tadanāsvādanāduttaraśamathaprayogāccāsyāriñcanaṃ veditavyam ||
kena kāraṇena vaipulyaṃ sūtrāntare bodhisattvapāramitāpiṭakamityucyate | tatra pāramitānāṃ saṃkhyānirdeśādyāvadanyonyaviniścayanācca ||
tatra saṃkhyā dvividhā, gaṇanāsaṃkhyā tanmātrasaṃkhyā ca | ṣaṭpāramitā iti gaṇanāsaṃkhyā | sarvākārayorvodhisattvābhyudaya niḥśreyasamārgayostisṛbhistisṛbhiśca saṃgrahāt ṣaḍevapāramitā na bhūyasyo nālpoyasya itīyaṃ tanmātrasaṃkhyā ||
trividho'bhyudayo mahābhogatā mahātmatā mahāpakṣatā ca | tatra dānapāra mitāyā mahābhogatā phalam | śīlapāramitāyā mahātmatā phalam, śīlena sugatā tmabhāvasaṃpattipratilambhāt | kṣāntipāramitāyā mahāpakṣatā phalam, kṣāntyā sarvajanābhigamanoyatāpratilambhāditi ||
trividho niḥśreyasamārgaḥ - kleśamabhibhūya kuśalapakṣaprayogopāyaḥ , sattvaparipācanopāyaḥ, buddhadharmasamudānayanopāyaśca , eṣāmanyatareṇāpi vinā bodhi sattvasya niḥśreyasānupapatteḥ | tatra sattvaparipācanopāyo dhyānapāramitā, tatsaṃniśrayeṇābhijñābhiḥ sattvaparipācanāt ||
punarapratiṣṭhitanirvāṇopāyataḥ ṣaḍeva pāramitāḥ | bodhisattvena hi nirvāṇapratiṣṭhāviparyayeṇa saṃsāre'bhyudayaḥ parigrahītavyaḥ | saṃsārapratiṣṭhāviparyayeṇa tasminnasaṃkleṣṭavyam | atastistro'bhyudayalābhopāyāstistrastadasaṃkleśopāyā yathāyogaṃ pūrvānusāreṇaiva veditavyāḥ | asaṃkleśopāye tu vīryeṇa pratipakṣabhāvanā, dhyānena kleśaviṣkambhaṇam, prajñayā kleśā nuśayasamudghāta iti ||
sarvānugrahatāṃ kleśapratipakṣatāṃ copā[dā]tyaparaḥ paryāyaḥ | tatra dānena bodhisattvaḥ sattvānupakaraṇopasaṃhārānugraheṇānugṛhṇāti | śīlena vighātotpīḍāviheṭhā'karaṇenānugṛhṇāti , yathākramaṃ bhogakāyacitto paghātānupasaṃhārāt | kṣāntyā vighātotpīḍāviheṭhāmarṣaṇenānugṛhṇāti, parebhya ātmano bhogādyupaghātasahanāt | ābhistisṛbhiranugṛhṇāti || vīryeṇāviṣkambhitakleśo'pi kuśalapakṣe prayujyate | dhyānena kleśaṃ viṣkambhayati | prajñayānuśayaṃ samudghātayati | imāstistraḥ kleśapratipakṣā veditavyā ||
tatra pāramitālakṣaṇam | bodhisattvasya dānapāramitā katamā | yadbodhisattvasya bodhisattvadharmatāyāṃ vyavasthitasya bodhicittaṃ niśritya karuṇāpuraḥ - sareṇa cetasā sarvāstiparityāge kā yavāṅmanaskarma | evaṃ ca kṛtvā dānapāramitāyāḥ lakṣaṇaṃ gotrataḥ praṇidhānata āśayato vastutaḥ svabhāvataśca nirdiṣṭaṃ veditavyam | tadyathā bodhisattvadharmatā gotram, bodhicittaṃ praṇidhānam, karuṇāpuraḥsaraṃ ceta āśayaḥ, sarvāstiparityāgo vastu, kāyavāṅmanaskarma svabhāva ityevaṃ yāvat prajñāpāramitā vistareṇa veditavyāḥ | ayaṃ tu viśeṣaḥ | śa lakṣāntivīryapāramitāsu yathākramaṃ sarvasaṃvarasamādānānurakṣāyāṃ sarvā pakāraduḥkhamarṣaṇādhivāsanāyāṃ sarvakuśaladharmasamudānayanatāyāṃ yatkāyavāṅmanaskarmeti veditavyam | dhyānapāramitāyāṃ sarvākārakāyavāṅmanaskarmavibhutve sarvākārā cetasaḥ sthitiriti | prajñāpāramitā [yāṃ] sarvākārakāyavāṅmanaskarmavibhutve yaḥ sarvākāro dharmapravicaya iti vaktavyam | śeṣaṃ dānavadeva sarva veditavyam ||
punaryaddānaṃ sarvajñatāmārabhya sarvajñatāyai saṃvartate sarvajñatāṃ parigṛhṇāti sarvajñatākṛtyaṃ ca karoti taddānapārimitetyucyate | etāni punaścatvāri padāni yathākramamārambhato vāsanātaḥ kāyato nisyandataśca veditavyāni | tatrārambhataḥ sarvajñatāmārabhyotpannotpannasya tatra pariṇāmanāt | tadeva punardānaṃ saṃtati vāsayate, yata āyatyāṃ sarvajñatāyai saṃvartate | tadeva yadā paripūrṇa bhavati tadā dharmakāyapariniṣpādanayogena sarvajñatāṃ parigṛhṇāti | tata uttarakālaṃ sāṃbhogikarnarmāṇikakāyanisyandamukhena sarvajñatākṛtyaṃ karoti | evaṃ yāvatprajñāpāramitā veditavyāḥ ||

pratyekaṃ punardāyakadāridrayāpanayatāddānam, dāhāpanayanādvā pratigrāhakānām || śāntendriyālambhanācchubhagatilīyanācchaityālayācca śīlaṃ yathākramamindriyeṣu guptadvāratāvāhanāt sugatigamanahetubhāvanādavipratisārādyānupūrvyā yāvannirvāṇā śrayatvāditi | krodhakṣāratiraskaraṇāt kṣaticittā gati tiraskaraṇāt kṣemāviṣkaraṇācca kṣatināṃ kṣāntiḥ | kṣaticittaṃ punaryenāpa kāriṇāṃ pratyapakāraḥ kriyate tasyāgatasyānayā vilopanaṃ tiraskaraṇaṃ veditavyam | kṣatameṣāṃ vairaṃ vidyata iti kṣatinasteṣāmabhayaprakāśanaṃ kṣemasyāviṣkaraṇaṃ veditavyam | vadhavṛddhohāyogādvoryam | tatra vadhāyehā 'kuśaladharmavigamāya dvābhyāṃ samyakprahāṇābhyām, vṛddhaye īhā kuśaladharmasamudāgamāya dvābhyāṃ samyakprahāṇābhyāṃ ca | dhāraṇayamanasaṃyamanavinayananayanāddhyānam | tatra dhāraṇāmālaṃbane cittasya, yamanaṃ vikṣepataḥ, saṃyamanaṃ cittasya, vinayanaṃ paryavasthānānāṃ viṣkambhaṇam, nayanaṃ vibhutvasya prāpaṇaṃ veditavyam | parapraṇītajñānāt pratyātmajñānāt prakārajñānāt śamaprāptiguṇaprakarṣajñānācca prajñā | tatra parapraṇītajñānaṃ parato ghoṣānvayā yoniśomanaskārasaṃprayuktā prajñā , pratyātmajñānaṃ lokottarā, prakārajñānaṃ lokottarapṛṣṭhalabdhā, śamaprāptaye jñānaṃ bhāvanāmārge kleśapratipakṣabhūtā, guṇaprakarṣāya jñānaṃ vaiśeṣikaguṇābhinirhārāya prajñā veditavyā ||

manaskāra saṃniśritā pāramitābhāvanā caturākārā | adhimukti manaskāreṇa sarvapāramitāpratisaṃyukta sūtrāntamadhimucyamānasya | āsvādanāmanaskāreṇa labdhāḥ pāramitāḥ , āsvādayato guṇadarśanayogena | anumodanāmanaskāreṇa sarvalokadhātuṣu sarvasattvānāṃ dānādikamanumodamānasya | abhinandanāmanaskāreṇātmanaḥ sattvānāṃ cānāgataṃ pāramitāviśeṣamabhinandamānasya ||

upāyasaṃniśritā pāramitābhāvanā trayākārā nirvikalpena jñānena trimaṇḍalapariśuddhipratyavekṣaṇatāmupādāya | tathāhi sa [u]pāyaḥ sarvamanaskārāṇāmabhiniṣpattaye ||
vibhutvasaṃniśritā pāramitābhāvanā trayākārā kāyavibhutvataḥ, caryāvibhutvataḥ deśanāvibhutvaśca | tatra kāyavibhutvaṃ tāthāgatau dvau kāyau draṣṭavyau svābhāvikaḥ sāṃbhogikaśca | tatra caryāvibhutvaṃ nairmāṇikaḥ kāyo draṣṭavyo yena sarvākārāṃ sarvasattvānāṃ sahadhārmikacaryā darśayati | deśanā vibhutvaṃ ṣaṭpāramitāsarvākāradeśanāyāmavyāghātataḥ ||
prabhedato'ṣṭādaśabhirupastambhaiḥ ṣaṇṇāṃ pāramitānāṃ prabhedo veditavyaḥ | aṣṭādaśopastambhāḥ - kāyopastambhaḥ, cittopastambhaḥ, kuśalopastambhaḥ, sugatyupastambhaḥ, bodhyupastambhaḥ, karuṇopastambhaḥ, sattvāparityāgopastambhaḥ , hīnacittaparityāgopastambhaḥ | anutpattikadharmakṣāntyupastambhaḥ kuśalamūlaprayogopastambhaḥ, kuśalamūlasamudāgamopastambhaḥ, kuśalamūlākṣayatopastambhaḥ, aparikhedopastambhaḥ, sarvacintitārthasamṛddhayupastambhaḥ, gaṇaparikarṣaṇo pastambhaḥ, bhūmipraveśopastambhaḥ, buddhadharmasamudānayanopastambhaḥ, buddhakṛtyānuṣṭhānopastambhaśca ||
pratyekaṃ dānādīnāṃ traivighyāt tribhistribhirupastambhairyathākramaṃ saṃgraho veditavyaḥ | tatra trividhaṃ dānam - abhayadānaṃ dharmadānamāmiṣadānaṃ ca | trividhaṃ śīlam - saṃvaraśīlaṃ kuśaladharmasaṃgrāhakaṃ śīlaṃ sattvārthakriyāśīlaṃ ca | trividhā kṣāntiḥ - apakāramarṣaṇakṣāntirduḥkhādhivāsanākṣāntirdharmanidhyānakṣāntiśca | trividhaṃ vīryam - saṃnāhavīrya prayogavīrya sattvā rthakriyāvīrya ca | trividhaṃ dhyānam - dṛṣṭadharmasukhāvihārāya dhyānamabhijñānirhārāya dhyānaṃ sattvārthakriyāyai ca dhyānam | trividhā prajñā - saṃvṛtyālaṃbanā paramārthālaṃbanā sattvārthālambanā ca ||
tatrāmiṣadānaṃ kāyopastambhaḥ, annapānādyupakaraṇaiḥ pratigrāhakāśrayānugrahaṇāt | abhayadānaṃ cittopastambhaḥ daurmanasyaviśeṣā[pa]gamāya cetasa āśvāsāya saṃhārāt | ityevamanyadapi yojyam ||
hīnacittaṃ punarbodhisattvasya saṃsāraduḥkhaparikheditayā śrāvakapratyekabuddhacittam, tatparityāgopastambho duḥkhādhivāsanakṣāntirveditavyā ||
kuśalamūlā kṣayatā sarvasattveṣu kriyārthādhikāritayā yāvatsāraṃ nirupadhiśeṣe'pi nirvāṇadhātāvaparityāgaḥ, tadupastambhaḥ sattvārthakriyāyaṃ vīrya veditavyam ||
gaṇaparikarṣaṇaṃ karma adhigamaṃ niśritya vineyānāmasamāhitasya cittasya samādhānāya samāhitasya vā cittasya vimokṣāyāvavādānuśāsanopradānam, tadupastambhaḥ sattvārthakriyāyai dhyānam ||
bhūmipraveśo yayā deśanayā dharmādhimuktipūrvikayā saṃbhāraparipūryāpramuditāṃ bhūmi praviśati, tadupastambhaḥ saṃvṛtisatyālaṃbanā prajñā ||

punaḥ prabhedaḥ sapta dānāmi - mūladānaṃ gotrāvasthasya bodhisattvasya dānapāramitā, gotramātraṃ niśritya dānāt | ādhānadānaṃ cittotpādāvasthasya, praṇidhānasamādānaṃ niśritya dānāt | anugrahadānaṃ svaparārthapratyavasthasya | anavagrahadānaṃ tattvārthaparī kṣāvasthasya, dāyakādivikalpābhiniveśāvagrāhābhāvāt | niṣparigrahadānaṃ prabhāvāvasthasya, vinā vāhyenopakaraṇaparigraheṇa gaganagañjādisamādhibhirākāśe pāṇi saṃcārya yatheṣṭaṃ ratnādivarṣaṇāt | pratyarhadānaṃ paripākāvasthasya, yathāvineyānurūpaṃ dānāt | mahādānaṃ paramabodhyavasthasya, niruttaratvāt | evaṃ yāvatprajñā yathāyogaṃ veditavyam ||
saṃgrahaḥ dānādabhirbodhisattvabhūmisaṃgrahārthena, tatredamudāharaṇamātraṃ pāramitādibhiḥ | gotrasaṃgraho dānapāramitādigotraṃ liṅgato'nugantavyam | cittotpādasaṃgraho viśiṣṭacittotpādasaṃ[gra]haṇāt | dvividho hi cittotpādaḥ - aviśiṣṭo viśiṣṭaśca | tatrāviśiṣṭo'ho vatāhamanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbudhyeyeti | viśiṣṭa evaṃ dānapāramitāṃ paripūrayeyaṃ yāvatprajñāpāramitāmiti | tadanena viśiṣṭena cittotpādena pāramitānāṃ saṃgraho veditavyaḥ, tāsāṃ kāraṇabhāvāt | svaparārthasaṃgraho yaddānenai śvarya parigṛhaṇātyayaṃ svārthaḥ, yatpunaḥ parānupakaraṇopasaṃhāreṇānugṛhṇātyayaṃ svārthaḥ evamavaśiṣṭābhiḥ saṃgraho veditavyaḥ | paramārthasaṃgrahaḥ - dharmadhātumārabhya, tathatāyā dānādisāmānyalakṣa[ṇa]tvāt | jñānasaṃbhāramārabhya, sarvajñatābhājanatāpādanāt | jñānaparigrahamārabhya sarvajñatāpariniṣpādanāt | jñānānuparivartatāmārabhya, pañcānāṃ prajñāpāramitānuparivartanāt | jñānalakṣaṇamārabhya, prajñāpāramitāḥ samyagjñānasvabhāvatvāt | ityevaṃ tathatāsamyajjñānasvabhāvataḥ paramārtho dānādibhiḥ saṃgṛhīto veditavyaḥ | etenodāharaṇamātreṇa śeṣaḥ saṃgraho veditavyaḥ ||
vipakṣo dānādīnāṃ yathākramaṃ mātsaryadauḥśīlye krodhakauśīdye vikṣepadauḥprajñe | api khalu yāvantaḥ kuśalā dharmāḥ pāramitābhiḥ saṃgṛhītāsteṣāṃ yo vipakṣo jñeyāvaraṇaṃ ca sa tāsāṃ vipakṣo veditavyaḥ ||
anuśaṃsaḥ pañcavidhaphalādhikāreṇāprameyo veditavyaḥ | tadyathā yathāsvamāsāṃ vipakṣa prahāṇaṃ visaṃyogaphalam | dṛṣṭe dharme svaparānugrahaṇaṃ puruṣakāraphalam | āyatyāmuttarāttaraviśiṣṭattaratamotpattirniṣyandaphalam | mahābodhiradhipatiphalam | mahābhogatā sugatigamanamavarābhedasukhasaumanasya bahulatā sattvādhipa patyamavyābādhyātma bhāvatā maheśākhyatā ca yathākramaṃ dānādīnāṃ vipākaphalaṃ veditavyam |
anyonyaviniścayastrividhaḥ - prāyogikaḥ, prābhedikaḥ, prabhidyasāṃdarśikaśca ||
tatra prāyogikaḥ dānaprayoge sarvāsāṃ vṛttirūpalabhyate | tadyathā'dhyātmikaṃ bāhyaṃ vastuparityajanataḥ dānaprayogaḥ | tatra yaḥ parityāgaḥ sa dānapāramitā | tatraiva yā maitracittasya paratravighā totpīḍāviheṭhasaṃvaraṇatā sā śīlapāramitā | tatraiva yoparodhavighātakhedamarṣaṇatā sā kṣāntipāramitā | tatraiva yā bhūyo bhūyaścittasyotsahanatā sā vīryapāramitā | tatraiva yā cittasyaikāgratā kuśalādbahiravisaraṇatā sā dhyānapāramitā | ta traiva yā yathāvaddhetu phalasugṛhītatā dṛṣṭaya parāmarṣaṇatā sā prajñāpāramitā | evaṃ yāvatprajñāpāramitāyāṃ yathāyogaṃ yojayitavyamubhayadānaṃ sarvajñajñānamiti kṛtvā ||
tatra prābhedikaḥ svabhāvaprabhedena, anukāraprabhedena ca | tatra dānādīnāṃ svabhāvo yathākramaṃ visargaḥ saṃvaro marṣaṇā'bhyutsāhaścitasthitiḥ pravicayaśca | tatra dānādiprayogeṣu tadanyapāramitānā manuvṛttiḥ pūrvavat | tatra dānādīnāmupayogaḥ samādāpanā varṇavāditā sumanojñatā ca | tatra dānādīnāṃ ropaṇā yā parasaṃtāne pratiṣṭhāpanā | tadatra dānapāramitā''miṣadānam, tadanyāḥ pañcābhayadānam, sarvāḥ sa ddharmadānaṃ parasaṃtāne ropaṇāt ||
tatra prabhidyasāṃdarśika ekāvacārakādibhiḥ | tadyathā yā dānapāramitā śīlapāramitāpi sā, yā vā śīlapāramitā dānapāramitāpi sā, paścātpādakaḥ - yā yāvacchīlapāramitā dānapāramitāpi sā, syāddānapāramitā na śīlapāramitā śīlapāramitayā'saṃgṛhītā yā dānapāramitā | evaṃ yāvatyajñāpāramita yā'saṃgṛhītā dānapāramitā paścātpādakairyojayitavyā | yaddānaṃ sarvā sā pāramitā, yā dāna pāramitā sarva taddānamiti catuṣkoṭikam | syāddānaṃ na pāramitā yanna mahobodhipariṇāmitam | syāt pāramitā na dānaṃ śīlādayo mahābodhipariṇāmitāḥ | syāddānaṃ ca pāramitā ca bodhipariṇāmitāni dānādīni | syānna dānaṃ na pāramitā uktavinirmuktā dharmāḥ | evaṃ yāvatprajñāpāramitāmārabhya catuṣkoṭikaṃ pratyekaṃ yojayitavyam | yo dānaṃ samācarati sarvo'sau dānapāramitānvayaṃ puṇyaṃ prasavatīti ca tuṣkoṭikam | prathamā koṭiḥ - mahābodhyapariṇāmitaṃ dānaṃ samācarati | dvitīyā koṭiḥ - dānapāramitāṃ yāṃ samādāpanavarṇabhāṣaṇasumanojñatābhiḥ | tṛtīyā koṭiḥ - mahābodhipariṇāmitena dānena | caturthī koṭiḥ - etānākārān sthāpayitvā | evaṃ yāvatprajñāpāramitāmārabhya pratyekaṃ catuṣkoṭikaṃ yojayitavyam ||
viśeṣato vaipulye audāryagāmbhīryadeśanā tatphalasya sarvajñatvasya paramodāra gambhīratvātphalānurūpyeṇa henunirdeśo draṣṭavyaḥ ||
ekatyānāṃ tadanadhimokṣe trāsaḥ bodhisattvagotravaikalyaṃ prakṛtyā hīnacittatayā gāmbhīryaudāryadeśanāṃ nādhimoktuṃ śaknuvanti | satyapi tadgotratve mahābodhimārabhya praṇidhānādīnāṃ kuśalamūlādo nāmanavaropaṇāt, satyapi tadavaropaṇe mahāyānapratikṣepakasattvaparigṛhītatvāditi | adhimucyamānānāmapyekatyānāmaniryāṇaṃ nītārtha sūtrama[na]nviṣya svayaṃ dṛṣṭiparāmarṣasthāyitayā yathārutamarthābhiniveśāta | tadyathā sarvadharmaniḥ svabhāvatāvacanāt sarvalakṣaṇena sarvabhāvāpavādinaḥ | evamanye'pi yathārutārthābhiniveśino mahāyāne na niryāntotiveditavyaṃ nānābhiprāyabhāṣitatvāt mahāyānasyeti | idaṃ ca saṃdhāyoktaṃ bhagavatā mahādharmādarśe dharmaparyāye - bodhisattvasya yathārutamayoniśo dharmān vicinvato 'ṣṭāviṃśatirasaddṛṣṭaya utpadyante ||
aṣṭāviṃśatirasaddṛṣṭayaḥ katamāḥ | nimittadṛṣṭiryāvadabhimānadṛṣṭiśca | tatra nisvabhāvāḥ sarvadharmā anutpannā ityevamādikaṃ mahāyāne rutamupalabhya tadabhisaṃdhyakuśalāḥ yathārutamevāsyārthamadhimucyamānā abhāva evāyaṃ bhagavatā deśitaḥ sarvadharmāṇāmanutpāda evetyabhāvādinimittamabhiniviśante saiṣāṃ bhavati nimittadṛṣṭiḥ | ta evamabhāvādinimittamabhiniviśamānāstronsvabhāvānavadante parikalpitaṃ svabhāvaṃ paratantraṃ pariniṣpannaṃ ca | tatrāyaṃ parikalpitaḥ svabhāvo yadrūpamiti vā yāvannirvāṇāmiti vā'bhilāpaprajñaptimātrabhabhūto niḥśarīrārtho yadbālā rūpādilakṣaṇaṃ samāropattaḥ parikalpayanti | tatrāyaṃ paratantraḥ svabhāvā yattadevābhūtaparikalpamātram | tatrāyaṃ pariniṣpannaḥ svabhāvo yatsarvadharmāṇāṃ tattvaṃ tathatā |
tadapavādākārāstistro dṛṣṭayo bhavanti - prajñaptyapavādadṛṣṭiḥ parikalpāpavādadṛṣṭistattvāpavādadṛṣṭiśca | ta evaṃ sarvathā sarvadharmānapavadamā nāstasyā apavādadṛṣṭeḥ pratiṣṭhāpa nārthaṃ kāṃcideva yuktiṃ parigṛhṇanti, ye'pi nītārthāḥ sūtrāntā nirabhilāpadharmatādyotakāstānapi sarvān svadṛṣṭayānulomyena pariṇāmayanti | te eva dve dṛṣṭo bhavataḥ parigrahadṛṣṭiḥ pariṇatidṛṣṭiśca | te punarevaṃdṛṣṭayo bhavanti - ya etāmīdṛśīṃ dṛṣṭiṃ niśritya kuśalamakuśalaṃ vā samācarati sa niravadya eva bhavati nirdoṣaḥ sarvamevāsya tatkalyāṇatāṃ yāti, pūrvopacitāccāvaraṇātsa niḥsaratotyevameṣāṃ dve dṛṣṭī anavadyatādṛṣṭirniḥsaraṇadṛṣṭiśca | te caivaṃ svadṛṣṭāvabhiniviṣṭāstad dṛṣṭiviparyayeṇa skandhādidharmavyavasthāpakaṃ śrāvakapiṭakamavajānanti, ye ca tāmapavādadṛṣṭimanadhimuktāḥ śrāvakayā nīyāstān pradviṣanti | te ete dve dṛṣṭī bhavato'vajñādṛṣṭiḥ prakopadṛṣṭiśca | svadṣṭayanusāreṇa caite yathāvacchūnyatānimittāpraṇihitāni vyavasthāpayamānā atallakṣaṇe tallakṣaṇasaṃjñino viparītameṣāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ vyavasthāpayanti, evaṃcittāśca bhavanti - yasyāmīdṛśyāṃ dharmatāyāmavatarantyavatārayanti vā sarve te'prameyaṃ puṇyaṃ prasavantītyevamete dṛṣṭī viparītadṛṣṭiḥ prasavadṛṣṭiśca | yadā punaste tāṃ dṛṣṭimārabhya paraṃranuyujyante tadā na kiṃcitsvayamicchantyabhyupagantum, chalajātibhyāṃ ca parānanuyuñjante | te ete anabhyupagamadṛṣṭiḥ kusṛtidṛṣṭiśca | te caivamabhimānino bhavanti - ya evaṃ pratipadyante [te] samyagbuddhān bhagavataḥ pūjayanti satkurvantītyeṣāṃ satkāradṛṣṭiḥ | aviparītadharmatākuśalaiśca tatā dṛṣṭervivecyamānāḥ sūpapannayā prasiddhayā yuktayā pratyāyamānā api tāṃ dṛṣṭiṃ na kathaṃcit parityajanti, etadeva tathyaṃ mithyānyadityeṣā dṛḍhamūḍhatādṛṣṭiḥ | etāsāṃ ca yathānirdiṣṭānāṃ dṛṣṭonāṃ yadvāsanādauṣṭhulyaṃ sā mūladṛṣṭiḥ | eta eva ca saptadaśadṛṣṭayo doṣodbhāvanāmukhenāvaśiṣṭābhiḥ dṛṣṭibhiḥ punarnidiśyante | tadyathā dṛṣṭāvadṛṣṭadṛṣṭi nimittadṛṣṭirityucyate, a bhāvādinimittābhiniveśina eva sataḥ sarvanimittānabhiniveśasajñitvāt | prajñaptyapavādadṛṣṭiḥ parikalpāpavādadṛṣṭistattvāpavādadṛṣṭiśca prayoganirākaraṇadṛṣṭiḥ, sarvāpavādino vyāyāmaniḥ sāmarthyasaṃjñitvāt | parigrahadṛṣṭiḥ pariṇatidṛṣṭiścānairyāṇikadṛṣṭiḥ, anupāyaprayuktasya tatphalānavāpteḥ |
anavadyatādṛṣṭiniḥsaraṇa dṛṣṭiścāvaraṇopacayadṛṣṭiḥ, mithyāpratipadyamānasyāvaraṇakṣayāsaṃbhavāt | avajñādṛṣṭiḥ prakopadṛṣṭiścāpuṇyaprasavadṛṣṭiḥ, saddharmasabrahmacārivipratipattimukhena mahākṣatisamāsādanāt | viparītadṛṣṭiḥ prasavadṛṣṭiśca vaiphalyadṛṣṭiḥ, [a]samyagdharmatāvyavasthāpanagrahaṇagrāhaṇairviśeṣā nadhigamāt , anabhyupagamadṛṣṭiḥ kusṛtidṛṣṭiśca nigrāhyadṛṣṭiḥ, [a]nyāyena vādaṃ kurvato jayāsaṃbhavāt | satkāradṛṣṭirabhyākhyānadṛṣṭiḥ, atadākhyāyini tatsamārāpaṇāt | dṛḍhamūḍhatādṛṣṭirakathyadṛṣṭiḥ, mithyābhiniveśinā saha sāṃ kathyapratiṣedhānnirathakatāmupādāya | mūladṛṣṭirmahādṛṣṭiḥ, tata āyatyāṃ puṣṭatarasarvadṛṣṭigatapratāpanāt | sarvā etāḥ saptaviśatidṛṣṭayo'bhimānadṛṣṭiḥ, abhūtābhimānasamutthitatvāt | ata evānantaraṃ tatraiva sūtra uktamitīmāḥ saptadaśa samānāḥ daśa bhavanti, daśa samānāḥ saptadaśa bhavanti, saptaviṃśatiḥ samānā ekā bhavati, ekā samānā saptaviṃśatirbhavantīti ||
niḥ svabhāvāḥ sarvadharmāḥ yasmātsvayameṣāṃ bhāvo nāsti, pratyayāṃ stvapekṣya bhāvo na pratiṣidhyate | yena vā svabhāvenaite pūrvamabhūvanna tena svena bhāvena bhūyaḥ śakyamebhirbhavitumiti niḥsvabhāvāḥ | prāptābhraṣṭalakṣaṇānāmapi pratyutpannānāṃ sve bhāve'vasthānābhāvānniḥsvabhāvāḥ | yādṛśo vā'dṛṣṭasatyairdharmāṇāṃ svabhāvo lakṣaṇamabhilāpaprapañcavāsanāmukhena gṛhyate tena bālagrāhānurūpeṇa svabhāvena vi[ra]hitatvānniḥ svabhāvāḥ ||
api khalu sarvadharmā ucyante trayaḥ svabhāvāḥ | tatra parikalpitasya svalakṣaṇameva nāstyataḥ svalakṣaṇaniḥsvabhāvatayā niḥsvabhāvaḥ | paratantrasya svayamutpattirnāsti pratyayāpekṣaṇādato nāsya svena bhāvena bhāva ityutpattiniḥ svabhāvatayā niḥsvabhāvaḥ | pariniṣpanno viśuddhyālaṃbanatvāt paratantraparikalpitalakṣaṇābhāvasvabhāvatvācca paramārthaścaiṣa niḥsvabhāvatāprabhāvitaśceti paramārthaniḥsvabhāvatayā niḥsvabhāvaḥ | ityevaṃ ca kṛtvā niḥsvabhāvāḥ sarvadharmā draṣṭavyāḥ, na tu sarvathālakṣaṇābhāvamadhikṛtyeti ||
api khalu mahāyāne tathāgatasya sarve'bhiprāyāḥ saṃkṣepeṇa catvāro bhavanti | tadyathā samatābhiprāyo yadāha - ahameva tasmin samaye vipaśyī samyaksaṃbuddho'bhūvamiti, avaśiṣṭadharmakāyatvāt | kālāntarābhiprāyoyadāha - ye sukhāvatyāṃ lokadhātau praṇidhānaṃ kariṣyanti te tatropa patsyanta iti, vimalacandraprabhavasya ca nāmadheyagrahaṇamātreṇa niyato bhavatyanuttarāyāṃ samyaksaṃbodhāviti, kālāntareṇetyabhiprāyaḥ | arthāntarābhiprāyo yadāha - niḥsvabhāvāḥ sarvadharmā anutpannā ityevamādi, ayathārutārthatvāt | pudgalāśayābhiprāyo yattadeva kuśalamūlaṃ kasyacitpraśaṃsanti kasyacidvigarha te'lpamātrasaṃtuṣṭasya | tathā rāgacaritasya buddhakṣetravibhūti darśayati, mānacaritasya keṣāṃcideva buddhānāmadhikāṃ saṃpatti varṇayanti | kaukṛtyenāvṛtasya ye buddhabodhisattveṣvapakāramapi kariṣyanti te sarve svargopagā bhaviṣyantītyāha | aniyatagotrasya mahāśrāvakā[n]buddhatve vyākaroti, ekaṃ ca yānaṃ na dvitīyamastīti deśayati śrāvakatvāśayatyājanārtham ||
punaḥ sarve'bhisaṃghayo'bhisamasya catvāro bhavantya vatāraṇābhisaṃdhyādayaḥ | tatra avatāraṇābhisaṃdhiḥ śrāvakeṣu draṣṭavyaḥ, śāsanā vatāraṇārthamanutrāsāya rūpādyastitvadeśanāt | lakṣaṇābhisaṃdhistriṣu parikalpitādisvabhāveṣu draṣṭavyaḥ, niḥsvabhāvānutpannādisarvadharmadeśanāt | pratipakṣābhisaṃdhiḥ doṣāṇāṃ vinaye draṣṭavyo yathāṣṭāvaraṇapratipakṣatāgrayānasaṃbhāṣā | aṣṭāvaraṇāni buddhadharmāvajñeti vistaraḥ | tadudāharaṇāni ca yathāyogaṃ caturabhiprāryāna rdeśāni draṣṭavyāni | pariṇāmanābhisaṃdhirabhidhānagāmbhīrye draṣṭavyaḥ, yadāha -
asāre sārama[ta]yo viparyāse ca susthitāḥ |
kleśena ca susaṃkliṣṭā labhante bodhimuttamām || iti |
atrāyamabhisaṃdhiḥ - avikṣepe yeṣāṃ sārabuddhiḥ pradhānabuddhiḥ, vikṣepo hi visāraśce tasaḥ viparyāse ca susthitāḥ iti nityasukhaśucyātmaviparyayeṇānityādike viparyāse ca susthitā aparihāṇitaḥ kleśena ca susaṃkliṣṭāḥ iti dīrghaduṣkara vyāyāmaśrameṇātyartha parikliṣṭāḥ ||
vaipulye dharmasamādhikuśalabodhisattvanirdeśaḥ śamathānuśaṃsaṃ vipaśyanānuśaṃsaṃ tadubhayānuśaṃsaṃ cādhikṛtya veditavyaḥ | tatra śamathānuśaṃso dvividhaḥ | kṣaṇe kṣaṇe prakarṣagāminyā prastrabdhyā nirantaramāśrayaspharaṇāt pratikṣaṇaṃ sarvadauṣṭhulyāśraya drāvaṇam, aviśeṣeṇa sarvadeśanādharme karasatādhimokṣasamādhānādvividhaskandhādyarthākārasaṃjñāvigatāyāḥ sūtrādi dharmārāmarateḥ pratilambhaśca | vipaśyanānuśaṃso'pi dvividhaḥ | yathāpravicittadharmanirantarāsaṃpramoṣātpratismṛtimātramukhenāparicchinnākāro'pramāṇaḥ sūtrādidharmeṣu prajñāvabhāsaḥ, āśrayaparivṛttipūrvarūpabhūtānāṃ cāvikalpitānāmanabhisaṃskṛtānāṃ nimittānāṃ samudācāraśca | tadubhayānuśaṃso dharmakāyasya jñeyāvaraṇa prahāṇāśrayaparivṛttisaṃgṛhītasya paripūraye daśamyāṃ bhūmau pariniṣpattaye vā tāthāgatyāṃ bhūmāvuttarāduttaratara niṣyandavāsanādhānayogena hetuparigraha iti ||
tadetatpañcavidhāyā bhāvanāyāḥ phalaṃ pañcavidhaṃ nirvartata iti saṃdarśitam | pañcavidhā bhāvanā katamā | prastrabdhinimittabhāvanā['] saṃbhinnabhāvanā'nimittabhāvanā'nābhogabhāvanā parinirvṛtinimittabhāvanā ca ||
kena kāraṇena tulye dharmakāyaniṣyandatve vaipulyadharmo dhūpamālyādibhiḥ pūjyo na tathā śrāvakayāna dharmaḥ | vaipulyadharmasya sarvasattvahitasukhādhiṣṭhānatāmupādāya mahārthatayā niruttarāprameyapuṇyaprasavāyatanatvāt ||
