evaṃ mayā śrutam | ekasmin samaye bhagavān rājagṛhe viharati sma veṇuvane kalandakanivāpe mahatā bhikṣusaṃghena sārdhamardhatrayodaśabhirbhikṣuśataiḥ, aprameyāsaṃkhyaiśca bodhisattvairmahāsattvaiḥ nānābuddhakṣetrasaṃnipatitairekajātipratibaddhaiḥ | tena khalu punaḥ samayena bhagavānanekaśatasahasrayā parṣadā parivṛtaḥ puraskṛto dharmaṃ deśayati sma ||
atha khalu tasyāmeva parṣadi suvikrāntavikrāmī nāma bodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ saṃnipatito'bhūtsaṃniṣaṇṇaḥ | sa utthāyāsanādekāṃsamuttarāsaṅgaṃ kṛtvā dakṣiṇaṃ jānumaṇḍalaṃ pṛthivyāṃ pratiṣṭhāpya yena bhagavāṃstenāñjaliṃ praṇamya bhagavantametadavocat-pṛccheyamahaṃ bhagavantaṃ tathāgatamarhantaṃ samyaksaṃbuddhaṃ kaṃcideva pradeśam, saced bhagavānavakāśaṃ kuryāt pṛṣṭaśca praśnavyākaraṇāya | evamukte bhagavān suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvaṃ mahāsattvametadavocat-pṛccha tvaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmiṃstathāgatamarhantaṃ samyaksaṃbuddhaṃ yadyadevākāṅkṣasi | ahaṃ te tasya tasyaiva praśna(sya) vyākaraṇena cittamārādhayiṣyāmi ||
evamukte suvikrāntavikrāmī bodhisattvo mahāsattvo bhagavantametadavocat-prajñāpāramitā prajñāpāramiteti bhagavannucyate | kiyatā bhagavan bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāṃ prajñāpāramitā prajñāpāramitetyucyate ? kathaṃ bhagavan bodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carati? kathaṃ bhagavan bodhisattvasya mahāsattvasya prajñāpāramitāyāṃ carataḥ prajñāpāramitābhāvanā paripūriṃ gacchati ? kathaṃ bhagavan bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramitāṃ bhāvayato māraḥ pāpīyānavatāraṃ (na) labhate, sarvamārakarmāṇi cāvabudhyate ? kīdṛgrūpaiśva bhagavan prajñāpāramitāvihārairviharan bodhisattvo mahāsattvaḥ kṣipraṃ sarvajñatādharmaparipūrimadhigacchati ?
evamukte bhagavān suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvaṃ mahāsattvametadavocat-sādhu sādhu suvikrāntavikrāmin, yastvaṃ tathāgatamarhantaṃ samyaksaṃbuddhaṃ prajñāpāramitāṃ paripṛcchasi bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāmarthāya, yathāpi nāma tvaṃ bahujanahitāya pratipanno bahujanasukhāya lokānukampāyai mahato janakāyasyārthāya hitāya sukhāya devānāṃ ca manuṣyāṇāṃ ca, etarhyanāgatānāṃ ca bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāmālokaṃ kartukāma iti ||
atha khalu bhagavān jānanneva suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvaṃ mahāsattvaṃ paripṛcchati sma-kiṃ tvaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin arthavaśaṃ saṃpaśyaṃstathāgatametadarthaṃ paripṛcchasi ? evamukte suvikrāntavikrāmī bodhisattvo mahāsattvo bhagavantametadavocat-sarvasattvānāṃ vayaṃ bhagavannarthāya tathāgatametamarthaṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ sarvasattvahitāya sarvasattvānukampāyai | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? prajñāpāramitā bhagavan sarvadharmāṇāṃ grāhikā yaduta śrāvakapratyekabuddhabodhisattvasamyaksaṃbuddhadharmāṇām | ato bhagavaṃstathāgataviṣayaṃ tathāgatajñānaṃ ca nirdiśatu | tatra ye sattvā niyatāḥ śrāvakayāne bhaviṣyanti, te kṣipramanāsravāṃ bhūmiṃ sākṣātkariṣyanti | ye pratyekabuddhayāne niyatā bhaviṣyanti, te kṣipraṃ pratyekabuddhayānena niryāsyanti | ye anuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhiṃ saṃprasthitāḥ, te kṣipramanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbhotsyante | ye ca anavakrāntasamyaktvaniyāmā aniyatāstisṛṣu bhūmiṣu, te śrutvā anuttarāyāṃ samyaksaṃbodhau cittamutpādayiṣyanti | sarvasattvānāṃ ca bhagavan kuśalamūlasaṃjananaṃ kṛtaṃ bhaviṣyati tathāgatena imaṃ prajñāpāramitāpraśnaṃ visarjayatā | na ca vayaṃ bhagavan hīnādhimuktikānāṃ sattvānāṃ kṛtaśastathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ, na daridracittānām, na daridramānasasamanvāgatānām, na kusīdānām, na kausīdyābhibhūtānām, na dṛṣṭipaṅkāvasannānām, na mārapāśabaddhānām, nānapatrapāṇām, nāsaṃlekhasamanvāgatānām, na muṣitasmṛtīnām, na bhrāntacittānām, na kāmapaṅkamagnānām, na śaṭhānām, na māyāvinām, nākṛtajñānām, na pāpecchānām, na pāpasamācārāṇām, na śīlavipannānām, nāpariśuddhaśīlānām, na dṛṣṭivipannānām, na māragocaracāriṇām, nātmotkarṣakāṇām, na parapaṃsakānām, na lābhasatkāragurukāṇām, na pātracīvarādhyavasitānām, na kuhakānām, na lapakānām, na naimittikānām, na naiṣpeṣikāṇām, na lābhena lābhacikīrṣukāṇām | na vayaṃ bhagavan evaṃrūpāṇāṃ sattvānāṃ kṛtaśastathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ | ye punarbhagavan sattvāḥ sarvajñajñānaṃ prārthayanti, asaṅgajñānaṃ svayaṃbhūjñānamasamajñānamanuttarajñānaṃ prārthayante, ye nātmānamupalabhante na param, kutaḥ punarātmānamutkarṣayiṣyanti paraṃ vā pasaṃyiṣyanti, teṣāṃ nihatamānānāṃ vayaṃ bhagavaṃśchinnaviṣāṇavṛṣabhopamānāṃ bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāmāvrīḍhaśalyānāṃ nīcamānasānāṃ caṇḍālakumārakopamacittānāṃ pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśasamacitānāṃ bhagavan sattvānāmarthāya tathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmo bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānām | ye dharmamapi nopalabhante nābhiniviśante kutaḥ punaradharmam, teṣāṃ vayaṃ bhagavannarthāya tathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmo bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāmāśayaśuddhānāmaśaṭhānāmamāyāvināmṛjukānāṃ samacittānāṃ sarvasattvahitāmukampakānāṃ samādāpakānāṃ samuttejakānāṃ saṃpraharṣakāṇāṃ mahābhāravāhikānāṃ mahāyānasamārūḍhānāṃ mahākṛtyena pratyupasthitānāṃ mahākāruṇikānāṃ sarvasattvahitasukhāvahānāṃ nāyakānāṃ vināyakānāṃ pariṇāyakānāṃ sarvadharmāniśritavihārikāṇāṃ sarvopapattyāyatanānarthikānāṃ sarvamārapāśavinirmuktānāṃ chandikānāṃ vīryavatāmapramattānāṃ sarvadharmaparamapāramiprāptānāṃ sarvasaṃśayacchedanakuśalānām | (teṣāṃ) vayaṃ bhagavan sattvānāṃ kṛtaśastathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmo bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānām | ye te bhagavan sattvā bodhijñānamapi na manyante nābhiniviśante nādhyavasāya tiṣṭhanti, sarvamanyanāsamatikrāntā mārgasthitā mārgapratipannā mārgadaiśikāḥ, teṣāṃ vayaṃ bhagavan sattvānāṃ kṛtaśastathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmo bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāṃ ca | sarvasattvānāṃ vayaṃ bhagavannarthāya hitāya sukhāya yogakṣemāya tathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ, sarvasattvānāṃ vayaṃ bhagavan sukhamupasaṃhartukāmā anuttarasukhaṃ niruttarasukhaṃ nirvāṇasukhaṃ buddhasukhamasaṃskṛtasukham | tena vayaṃ bhagavan sarvasattvānāṃ saṃśayacchittyarthaṃ tathāgataṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ | niḥsaṃśayā vayaṃ bhagavan bhavitukāmāḥ, niḥsaṃśayāśca bhagavan sarvasattvebhyaḥ saṃśayaprahāṇāya dharmaṃ deśayitukāmāḥ| tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvasattvā hi bhagavan sukhakāmā duḥkhapratikūlāḥ, sarvasattvāḥ sukhenārthikāḥ | na ca vayaṃ bhagavan sarvasattvānāṃ kiṃcidanyatsukhaṃ samanupaśyāmo'nyatra prajñātaḥ| na cānyatkiṃcidbhagavan sarvasattvānāṃ sukhamasti anyatra bodhisattvayānānmahāyānāt | tena vayaṃ bhagavan imamarthavaśaṃ saṃpaśyantaḥ sattvānāṃ sukhamupasaṃhartukāmāḥ prajñāpāramitāṃ paripṛcchāmaḥ | bodhisattvānāṃ caitamarthaṃ bhagavan samanupaśyadbhirasmābhistathāgata etamarthaṃ paripṛṣṭaḥ ||
evamukte bhagavām suvikrāntavikrāmiṇaṃ bodhisattvāṃ mahāsattvametadavocat-sādhu sādhu suvikrāntavikrāmin | guṇānāṃ te na sukaraḥ paryanto'dhigantum, yastvaṃ tathāgataṃ mahato janakāyasyānukampayā imāṃ prajñāpāramitāṃ paripṛcchasi | tena hi tvaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin śṛṇu, sādhu ca suṣṭhu ca manasikuru, bhāṣiṣye'haṃ te | sādhu bhagavanniti suvikrāntavikrāmī bodhisattvo mahāsattvo bhagavataḥ pratyaśrauṣīt ||
bhagavānetadavocat-yattvaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin evaṃ vadasi-prajñāpāramitā prajñāpāramiteti bhagavannucyate, kiyatā bhagavan bodhisattvānāṃ mahāsattvānāṃ prajñāpāramitetyucyata iti, na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin kenaciddharmeṇa prajñāpāramitā vacanīyā | sarvavacanātikrāntā hi prajñāpāramitā | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitā śakyate vaktum-iyaṃ sā prajñāpāramitā, asya vā prajñāpāramitā, anena vā prajñāpāramitā, asmādvā prajñāpāramitā | apāramitaiṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin sarvadharmāṇām, tenocyate prajñāpāramiteti | prajñaiva suvikrāntavikrāmiṃstathāgatena na labdhā, nopalabdhā, kutaḥ punaḥ prajñāpāramitāmupalapsyate ? prajñeti suvikrāntavikrāmin ajñaiṣā sarvadharmāṇām, ajānanaiṣā sarvadharmāṇām, tenocyate prajñeti | katamā ca suvikrāntavikrāmin ajānanā sarvadharmāṇām ? anyathaite sarvadharmā anyathābhilapyante, na cābhilāpavinirmuktāḥ sarvadharmāḥ | yā ca ajñā sarvadharmāṇām, yā ca ajānanā sarvadharmāṇām, na sā śakyā vācā vaktum | api tu yathā sattvā ajānanāḥ, tenocyate prajñeti | prajñāptirityevocyate, tenocyate prajñeti | sarvadharmāśca suvikrāntavikrāmin aprajñapanīyāḥ, apravartyāḥ, anirdeśyāḥ adṛśyāśca | yaivamajānanā, iyamucyate ajānaneti | prajñeti suvikrāntavikrāmin naiṣā ajñā nāpyanajñā, nāpyajñānajñā, tatastenocyate prajñeti | (na) jñānagocara eṣa suvikrāntavikrāmin, nājñānagocaraḥ | nājñānaviṣayo nāpi jñānaviṣayaḥ | aviṣayo hi jñānam | sacedajñānaviṣayaḥ syāta, ajñānaṃ syāt | na jñānamajñānataḥ, nāpi jñānato'jñānam, nāpi jñānamajñānam, nāpyajñānaṃ jñānam | nājñānena jñānamityucyate, nāpi jñānena jñānamityucyate |
ajñānena hi jñānamityucyate, na tu tatra kiṃcidajñānaṃ yacchakyamādarśayitum-idaṃ tajjñānam, asya vā tajjñānam, anena vā tajjñānam | tena tajjñānaṃ jñānatvena na saṃvidyate, nāpi tajjñānaṃ tattvenāvasthitam, nāpyajñānaṃ jñānamityucyate | sacedajñānena jñānamityucyeta, tataḥ sarve bālapṛthagjanā jñānino bhaveyuḥ | api tu jñānājñānānupalabdhito jñānājñānaṃ yathābhūtaparijñā | tadeva jñānamityucyate, na punaryathocyate tathā tajjñānam | tatkasmāt ? na hi jñānaṃ vacanīyam, nāpi jñānaṃ kasyacidviṣayaḥ| sarvaviṣayavyatikrāntaṃ hi jñānam, na ca jñānaṃ viṣayam (yaḥ ?)| ayaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin jñānanirdeśaḥ, adeśo'pradeśaḥ, yena jñānenāsau jñānināṃ jñānīti saṃkhyāṃ gacchati | yaivaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin prajānanā anubodhanā ajānanā, iyamucyate prajñeti | ya evaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin abhisamayaḥ, sākṣātkriyā, iyamucyate lokottarā prajñeti, na punaryathocyate lokottarā prajñeti | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? loka eva nopalabhyate, kutaḥ punarlokottarā prajñā ? kaḥ punarvādo yo lokān samanuttariṣyati lokottarayā prajñayā ? tatkasya hetoḥ ? na hi sā lokamupalabhate, tena na kiṃciduttārayati, tenocyate lokottarā prajñeti | loka iti suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñaptirlokasamatikramaḥ | sarvaprajñaptisamatikrāntaṃ lokottaramityucyate | na ca punarlokottaramuttaraṇam, anuttaraṇaṃ lokottaram | tatkasya hetoḥ ? aṇurapi tatra dharmo na saṃvidyate ya uttartavyo yena cottartavyaḥ | tenocyate lokottaramiti | lokottare hi na loko vidyate na lokottaram, anuttarasyānuttara(ṇa) miti, tenocyate lokottaramiti | ayamucyate suvikrāntavikrāmin lokottarāyāḥ prajñāyā nirdeśaḥ, na punaryathocyate lokottarā prajñeti | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? na hi yā lokottarā sā vacanīyā, uttīrṇā sā | na tatra bhūyaḥ kiṃciduttartavyam, tenocyate lokottarā prajñeti ||
tatra suvikrāntavikrāmin yā nirvedhikā prajñā, kiṃ sā prajñā nirvidhyati ? nātra kiṃcinnirveddhavyam | sacetkiṃcinnirveddhavyamabhaviṣyat, prajñapyeta - iyaṃ sā prajñā yā nirvidhyatīti | na kenacidvidhyate nāvidhyate, na kasyaciduttaramupalabhyate yadvidhyeta | nirvidhyatīti nātra kiṃcidvidhyati nāvidhyati, nātra kiṃcidvidhyate nāvidhyate, tenocyate nirvidhyatīti | nātra kaścidantaṃ prayāti nāpi madhyam, tenocyate nirvidhyatīti | nirvidhyati nirvedhikā prajñetyucyate nirvidhyati na kvaciddhāvati, na vidhāvati, na saṃdhāvati, tenocyate nirvedhiketi | api tu suvikrāntavikrāmin nirvedhikā prajñeti kiṃ nirvidhyati ? yatkiṃciddarśanam, tatsarvaṃ nirvidhyati | kena nirvidhyati ? prajñayā nirvidhyati | kimiti prajñayā nirvidhyati ? prajñaptilakṣaṇamiti nirvidhyati | yatkiṃcitprajñaptilakṣaṇam, tatsarvamalakṣaṇamiti, alakṣaṇaṃ prajñaptilakṣaṇamiti | yaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin evaṃrūpayā prajñayā samanvāgato vidhyati, sa traidhātukaṃ vidhyati | kathaṃ vidhyati ? adhātukaṃ traidhātukamiti nirvidhyati | na hyatra kaściddhātuṃ vidhyati, sa traidhātukamadhātukamiti nirvidhyati | yenaivaṃ traidhātukaṃ nirviddham, ayamucyate nairvedhikyā prajñayā samanvāgata iti | kathaṃ ca nairvedhikyā prajñayā samanvāgataḥ ? na hi kiṃcinnirveddhavyamakuśalam, sa sarvaṃ kuśalamiti nirvidhyati, nairvedhikyā prajñayā atikrāmati | sa evaṃ nairvedhikyā prajñyā samanvāgato yatkiṃcitpaśyati śṛṇoti jighrati āsvādayati spṛśati vijānīte vā, tatsarvaṃ nirvidhyati | kathaṃ nirvidhyati ? anityato duḥkhato gaṇḍato rogataḥ śalyataḥ śūnyato aghata āghātataḥ parataḥ (pralopataḥ) pralopadharmataścalataḥ prabhaṅgurato'nātmato'nutpādato'nirodhato'lakṣaṇata iti | ayamucyate suvikrāntavikrāmin śītībhūtoviśalya iti | tadyathāpi nāma suvikrāntavikrāmin viśalyā nāma bhaiṣajyajātiḥ | sā yasmin sthāpyate tataḥ sarvaśalyānyapanayati nirvidhyati, evameva evaṃrūpairdharmaiḥ samanvāgato bhikṣurviśalyaḥ śītībhūto nairvedhikyā prajñayā samanvāgataḥ saṃsārātyantavihārī nairvedhikaprajñoviraktaḥ sarvatraidhātukāt, atikrāntaḥ sarvamārapāśebhyaḥ | tadyathāpi nāma suvikrāntavikrāmin vajraṃ yasminneva nikṣipyate nirvedhanārtham, tattadeva nirvidhyati, evameva bhikṣurvajropamasamādhinairvedhikyā prajñayā parigṛhītaṃ (cittaṃ ? ) yatra sthāpayati yeṣu ca pracārayati, tān sarvānnirvidhyati | sa nairvedhikyā prajñayā samanvāgato lokottarayā samyagduḥkhakṣayagāminyānuliptastravidya ityucyate |vidyeti suvikrāntavikrāmin avidyopaśamasyaitadadhivacanam, avidyāparijñeti duḥkhaskandhavyupaśamasyaitadadhivacanam | tadyathāpi nāma suvikrāntavikrāmin vaidyaḥ paṇḍito vyakto medhāvī tantraupayikayā mīmāṃsayā samanvāgataḥ syāt sarvabhaiṣajyakuśalaḥ sarvavyādhyutpattikuśalaḥ sarvaduḥkhapramocanakaḥ | sa yaṃ yameva glānaṃ cikitsati taṃ tameva mocayat |tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? tathā hi sa sarvabhaiṣajyakuśalaḥ sarvavyādhyutpattikuśalaḥ sarvarogavimocanakaḥ | evameva suvikrāntavikrāmin tṛtīyā vidyā sarvāvidyopaśamāya saṃvartate, sarvaduḥkhaniryātanāya saṃvartate, sarvajarāmaraṇaśokaparidevaduḥkhadaurmanasyopāyāsānāmupaśamāya saṃvartate | iyamucyate suvikrāntavikrāmin lokottarā prajñā nirvedhagāminīti ||
idaṃ ca me suvikrāntavikrāmin saṃghāya bhāṣitam -
prajñā śreṣṭhā hi lokasya yeyaṃ nirvedhagāminī |
yayā samyak prajānāti bhavajātiparikṣayam || iti ||
bhavajātiparikṣaya iti suvikrāntavikrāmin kasyaitadadhivacanam ? udayāstaṃgamaprativedhasyaitadadhivacanam | katamaśca udayāstaṃgamaprativedhaḥ ? yatkiṃcitsamudayadharmi, tatsarvaṃ nirodhadharmi ityevaṃ samudayāstaṃgamaṃ pratividhyati | samudaya iti suvikrāmin utpādasyaitadadhivacanam, astaṃgama iti nirodhasyaitadadhivacanam, na punaryathocyate tathodayāstaṃgamaḥ | yaḥ kaścitsuvikrāntavikrāmin samudayaḥ, na sa udayadharmaḥ | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin samasya kaścidudayaḥ, nāpi tatsamudāgacchati | samatānuyātameva tat | tenocyate samudaya iti | samatānuyātamiti suvikrāntavikrāmin nātra kaścidudayati na samudāgacchati | na tasya yaḥ svabhāvaḥ sa svayaṃ saṃbhavaḥ, sa nirodhaḥ | tatra ca na kasyacinnirodhaḥ, samudayānantaranirodhaḥ | yatrotpādo nāsti, na tatra nirodhaḥ, sa nirodhaḥ | evaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin yaḥ samudayāstaṃgamaprativedhaḥ anutpādāya anirodhāya, so'staṃgamaprativedhaḥ | tenocyate udayāstaṃgamaprativedha iti ||
prativedha iti suvikrāntavikrāmin pratītyasamutpādasyaiṣā parijñā | yaṃ pratītya yo dharma utpadyate, tameva pratītya sa dharmo na saṃvidyate | ayamucyate pratītyasamutpādaprativedhaḥ | saiṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin pratītyasamutpādasya parijñā yathābhūtatā anutpādena sūcyate | anutpādo hi pratītyasamutpādaḥ | samo'nutpādaḥ | tenocyate pratītyasamutpāda iti | yatra nāstyutpādaḥ, tatra kuto nirodhaḥ ? anirodho nirodhaḥ pratītyasamutpādasyāvabodhaḥ | asamutpādaḥ pratītyasamutpāda ityucyate | yo'samutpādaḥ so'nutpādaḥ | yo'nutpādaḥ, sa nātīto na anāgato na pratyutpannaḥ | tasya nirodho na saṃvidyate | yasya nirodho na saṃvidyate, taducyate'nutpādajñānamiti | yena ca anutpādo jñātaḥ, sa na bhūya utpādayati, na ca nirodhaṃ sākṣātkaroti | yo notpādayati, sa na nirodhayati | utpādasya hi sato nirodhaḥ prajñāyate | yenotpādayati, tena niruddhā eva sarvadharmā jñātā dṛṣṭāḥ pratividdhāḥ sākṣātkṛtāḥ | tenocyate nirodhaḥ sākṣātkṛta iti ||
kṣayajñānamiti suvikrāntavikrāmin kṣīṇamajñānam | tenocyate kṣayajñānamiti | kena kṣīṇam ? akṣayatayā kṣīṇam | kṣayamasya na samanupaśyati | ajñānavigama eṣa suvikrāntavikrāmin | tenocyate kṣayajñānamiti| ajñānaparijñaiṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin | tenocyate ajñānakṣayaḥ kṣayajñānamiti | na hi ajñānaṃ kṣayo vā akṣayo vā | vigama eṣa suvikrāntavikrāmin jñāsyate | tenocyate kṣayajñānamiti | yathābhūtaparijñaiṣā suvikrāntavikrāmin | tenocyate vigama iti | na kiṃcidanyadupalabhyate idaṃ tajjñānavigama iti | jñānameva nopalabhyate, kutaḥ punarajñānam | yasya kasyavidvimukti, tenocyate kṣayajñānamiti, na punaryathocyate | yasya punaḥ kṣayajñānam, tasya na kaścidvyavahāraḥ | api tu nirdeśa eṣaḥ ajñānakṣaya iti vā kṣaya(jñāna)miti | iyaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin akṣayakṣayajñānaparīkṣā sarvadharmāṇāṃ yenāvabuddhā sa kṣayajñānavigataḥ, akṣayakoṭimanuprāptaḥ | akoṭirnivāṇakoṭiḥ, na punaryathocyate | avacanīyaṃ nirvāṇaṃ sarvavyavahārasamucchinnam | ayaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin nirvāṇadhātunirdeśaḥ, na punaryathā nirdiṣṭaḥ | anirdeśyo hi nirvāṇadhātuḥ sarvanirdeśasamatikrāntaḥ sarvanirdeśasamucchinno nirvāṇadhātuḥ | ayamucyate lokottarāyā nirvedhikāyāḥ prajñāyā nirdeśaḥ, yo'yaṃ nirvāṇadhāturiti | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin nirvāṇadhāturdeśastho na pradeśasthaḥ | eṣo'sya nirdeśa iti ||
tatra katamā suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitā ? na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitāyāḥ kiṃcidāraṃ vā pāraṃ vā | sacetsuvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitāyā āraṃ vā pāraṃ vā upalabhyeta, nirdiśettathāgataḥ prajñāyā āraṃ vā pāraṃ vā | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitāyā āramupalabhyate, tenāsyāḥ pāraṃ na nirdiśyate | api tu suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramiteti pārametatsarvadharmāṇāṃ jñānakarmaṇām, tenocyate prajñāpāramiteti, na punaryathocyate | na hi vācā na karmaṇā prajñāpāramitā pratyupasthitā | anirdeśyā hi suvikrāntavikrāmin prajñāpāramitā | sarvadharmāṇāmeṣo'nubodhaḥ | yaścānubodhaḥ, so'virodhaḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? na hi tatra kiṃcidanubuddham, na pratividdham | anubodhaprativedhasamatā hi bodhiḥ sarvadharmānubodhādbodhirityucyate | kathaṃ ca sarvadharmānubodhaḥ ? nātra kācidbodhirnāpyatra kaści(danu)bodhaḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sacet suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhirupalabhyeta, labdhā syādbodhau bodhiḥ | na ca suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhau bodhiḥ saṃvidyate | evameṣā bodhirabhisaṃboddhavyā | ananubodhādaprativedhādanubudhyetyucyate, na punaryathocyate sarvadharmā hyananubuddhā apratividdhāḥ | na ca punardharmo dharmasvabhāvena saṃvidyate anenānubodhena | iyamucyate bodhiriti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmiṃstathāgatena bodhirupalabdhā, nāpi tathāgatena bodhirvijñaptā | avijñapanīyā aprajñapanīyā bodhiḥ | na ca tathāgatena bodhirjñātā na janitā | ajātā anabhinirvṛttā hi bodhiḥ | na ca bodhiḥ kasyavidviṣayaḥ, na ca bodhau kaścitsattvo vā sattvaprajñaptirvā | yatra nasti sattvo vā sattvaprajñaptirvā, kathaṃ vaktavyo'yaṃ bodhisattvaḥ, iyaṃ bodhisattvasya prajñāpāramiteti ? na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhau bodhiḥ, na ca bodhau kaścitsattvaḥ| atikrāntā hyeṣā bodhiḥ, anutpannaiṣā bodhiḥ, anabhisaṃvṛttaiṣā bodhiḥ, alakṣaṇaiṣā bodhiḥ | na cāsyāṃ sattvaḥ saṃvidyate, nopalabhyate | na bodhiḥ sattvatayā prajñaptā | niḥsattvānubodho hi bodhirityucyate | bodhi(ra)sattvateti yena jñātā, sa ucyate bodhisattva iti | tatkamāddhetoḥ ? na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvaḥ sattvasaṃjñāprabhāvitaḥ | sattvasaṃjñāvibhāvanādbodhisattva ityucyate, na punaryathocyate | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? avacanīyo hi bodhisattvaḥ, sattvasvabhāvavigato hi bodhisattvaḥ, sattvasaṃjñāvigatā hi bodhiḥ | yenaivaṃ bodhirjñātā, sa bodhisattva ityucyate | kimiti bodhirjñātā ? atikrāntaiṣā bodhiḥ, akaraṇīyaiṣā bodhiḥ, anutpādānirodho hyeṣā bodhiḥ | na bodhirbodhiṃ vijñāpayati, nāpi bodhirvijñāpanīyā | avijñāpanīyā aprajñapanīyā anabhinirvartanīyā bodhirityucyate | yena ca anubuddhā pratibuddhā avikalpā kalpasamucchedāya, tenocyate bodhisattva iti, na punaryathocyate | tatkasmāt ? niḥsattvatvāt | yadi bodhisattvaḥ samupalabhyeta, labdhā syādbodhiḥ - iyaṃ sā bodhiḥ, asyāmayaṃ sattvā iti | asattvaniḥsattvasattvāvagamānubodhādbodhisattva ityucyate | niḥsattvatayā sattvasaṃjñāvibhāvanatayā asattvasaṃjñāvibhāvanatayā bodhisattva ityucyate | tat kasmāt ? sattvadhāturityasattvatāyā etadadhivacanam | na hi sattvaḥ sattve saṃvidyate, asaṃvidyamānatvātsattvadhātoḥ | yadi sattve sattvaḥ syāt, nocyeta sattvadhāturiti | adhātunidarśanametat sattvadhāturiti | adhātuko hi sattvadhātuḥ | yadi sattvadhātau sattvadhāturbhavet, sajīvastaccharīraṃ bhavet | atha sattvadhātunirmukto dhāturbhavet, adhātuko hi sattvadhātuḥ | dhātuḥ saṃketena vyavahārapadaṃ gacchati | na hi sattvadhātau dhātuḥ saṃvidyate, nāpyanyatra sattvadhātoḥ sattvadhātuḥ saṃvidyate | adhātukā hi sarvadharmāḥ | idaṃ ca me saṃdhāya bhāṣitam-na sattvadhātorūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vā prajñāyate | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? asattvāt sattvadhātoḥ, viviktatvātsattvadhātoḥ | yathā ca sattvadhātornonatvaṃ na pūrṇatvaṃ prajñāyate, evaṃ sarvadharmāṇāmapi nonatvaṃ na pūrṇatvaṃ prajñāyate | sarvadharmāṇāṃ hi na kācitpariniṣpattiḥ, yenaiṣāmūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vā bhavet | ya evaṃ sarvadharmāṇāmanubodhaḥ, sa ucyate sarvadharmānubodha iti | iyaṃ ca mayā saṃdhāya vāgbhāṣitā–yathā sattvadhātornonatvaṃ na pūrṇatvaṃ prajñāyate, evaṃ sarvadharmāṇāmapi nonatvaṃ na pūrṇatvaṃ prajñāyata iti | yacca sarvadharmāṇāmanūnatvamapūrṇatvam, tadapariniṣpattiyogena, tadeva buddhadharmāṇāmapi anūnatvamapūrṇatvam | evaṃ sarvadharmāṇāmanubodhādbuddhadharmāṇāmanūnatvamapūrṇatvam | sarvadharmāṇāmanūnatvādapūrṇatvādbuddhadharmā iti | tena tadbuddhadharmāṇāmadhivacanam | na hi buddhadharmāḥ kenacicchakyā ūnā vā pūrṇā vā kartum | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? sarvadharmānubodha eṣaḥ | yaśca sarvadharmānubodhaḥ, tatra na kasyaciddharmasya ūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vā | sarvadharmā iti dharmadhātoretadadhivacanam | na ca dharmadhātorūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vā | tatkasya hetoḥ ? ananto hi dharmadhātuḥ | na hi sattvadhātośca dharmadhātośca nānātvamupalabhyate, nāpi sattvadhātorvā dharmadhātorvā ūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vopalabhyate vā saṃvidyate vā | ya evamanubodhaḥ, iyamucyate bodhiriti | tenocyate-na buddhadharmāṇāmūnatvaṃ vā pūrṇatvaṃ vā prajñāyata iti | anūnatvapūrṇatvamiti suvikrāntavikrāmin yathāvadavikalpasya yathābhūtadarśanasyaitadadhivacanam | na tatra śakyaṃ kenacidutkṣeptuṃ vā prakṣeptuṃ vā | ya evamanubodhaḥ, iyamucyate bodhiriti | (bodhiriti) suvikrāntavikrāmin buddhalakṣaṇametat | kathaṃ buddhalakṣaṇam ? sarvadharmalakṣaṇānyalakṣaṇam, etadbuddhalakṣaṇam | alakṣaṇā hi bodhirlakṣaṇasvabhāvavinivṛttā | ya evamanubodhaḥ, iyamucyate bodhiriti, na punaryathocyate | eṣāṃ hi suvikrāntavikrāmin dharmāṇāmanubodhatvādbodhisattva ityucyate | yo hi kaścit suvikrāntavikrāmin imān dharmānaprajānannanavabudhyamāno bodhisattva ityātmānaṃ pratijānīte, dūre tasya bodhisattvasya bodhisattvabhūmiḥ, dūre bodhisattvadharmāḥ, visaṃvādayati sadevamānuṣāsuraṃ lokaṃ bodhisattvanāmnā | sacetpunaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin vāṅmātreṇa bodhisattvo bhavet, tena sarvasattvā api bodhisattvā bhaveyuḥ | naitatsuvikrāntavikrāmin vāṅmātraṃ yaduta bodhisattvabhūmiriti | na ca vācā śakyamanuttarāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃboddhum | na hi vākkarmaṇā bodhiḥ prāpyate, nāpi bodhisattvadharmāḥ | sarvasattvāḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhāya caranti, na ca jānanti na budhyante | te na bodhisattvā ityucyante | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? na hi sattvā asattvamiti prajānanti | sacedevaṃ te jānīyuḥ, ātmacaritairbodhisatvā bhaveyuḥ | viparyastāḥ punaḥ sattvāḥ svacaryāṃ svaviṣayaṃ svagocaraṃ na prajānanti | sacedātmacaryāṃ prajānīyuḥ, na te bhūyaḥ kasmiṃścidvikalpe careyuḥ | tābhirvikalpacaryābhiḥ sarvabālapṛthagjanā abhūtārambaṇe caranti | te bodhimapi ārambaṇīkṛtya manyante | teṣāmārambaṇacaritānāṃ vikalpacaritānāṃ kuto bodhiḥ, kuto bodhisattvadharmāḥ ? ya evaṃ dharmaṃ prajānanti, na te bhūyo'bhūtārambaṇe caranti | na te bhūyaḥ kaṃciddharmaṃ manyante | tenocyate - acaryā bodhisattvacareti | na bodhisattvāḥ kalpe na vikalpe caranti | yatra ca na kalpo na vikalpaḥ, na tatra kāciccaryā | yatra cāvikalpaḥ, na tatra kasyaciccaryā | buddhabodhisattvānāṃ sarvacaryā avikalpacaryeti | sarvā manyanā asārambaṇā | sa evaṃ sarvadharmān prajānan na bhūya ārambaṇe vā vikalpe vā carati vicarati vā | iyaṃ bodhisattvānāṃ caryā acaryāyogena | evaṃ hi suvikrāntavikrāmin dharmānavabudhyante pratibudhyante, tenocyante bodhisattvā iti ||
asattveti bodhisattvasyaitadadhivacanam | bibhāvitā hi tena sattvāḥ sarvasaṃjñāḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? jñātā hi tena bhūtāḥ sarvasattvāḥ, asattvāḥ sarvasattvāḥ viparyāsasattvāḥ sarvasattvāḥ, parikalpitasattvāḥ sarvasattvāḥ, abhūtārambaṇasattvāḥ sarvasattvāḥ, svacaryāvipranaṣṭasattvāḥ sarvasattvāḥ, avidyāsaṃskārasattvāḥ sarvasattvā iti | tatkasya hetoḥ ? ye dharmāḥ sarvasattvānāṃ na saṃvidyante, tān dharmānabhisaṃskurvanti | tenocyate sarvasattvā avidyāsaṃskārasattvā iti | katamo dharmo na saṃvidyate ? ahamiti vā mameti vā ahamasmīti vā na kaściddharmo vidyate | sacetkaściddharmaḥ syāt-ahamiti vā mameti vā ahamasmīti vā, tena bhūtāḥ sattvā abhaviṣyan | yasmāttarhi suvikrāntavikrāmin na sa kaściddharmaḥ, yaḥ ahamiti vā mameti vā ahamasmīti vā, tenocyate-abhūtāḥ sarvasattvā iti, avidyāsaṃskārasattvāḥ sarvasattvā iti | na hi kaścit suvikrāntavikrāmin sattvo nāma dharmaḥ saṃvidyate yasya syādahamiti vā mameti vā ahamasmīti vā | yasmācca na saṃvidyate, tasmādabhūtāḥ sattvā ityucyante | abhūtā iti asattvānāmetadadhivacanam | yathā vā punarabhūtāyāṃ sattvasaṃjñāyāmabhiniviṣṭāḥ, tasmāducyate abhūtāḥ sattvā iti | abhūtamiti suvikrāntavikrāmin nātra kiṃcidbhūtaṃ na saṃbhūtam | sarvadharmā hi abhūtā asaṃbhūtāḥ | tatra sattvā abhūtā adhyavasitā vinibadhyante, tenocyante abhūtārambaṇāḥ sattvā iti | tāṃ te svacaryāmaprajānantaḥ abhūtasattvā ityucyante | aparibodhanā punaryasyāścaryāvabodhādbodhisattvā ityucyate ||
ya evaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin dharmānavabudhyate, sa ucyate bodhisattva iti | bodhisattva ityanubuddhasattvasyaitadadhivacanam, yena sarvadharmā buddhā jñātāḥ | kathaṃ jñātāḥ ? abhūtā asaṃbhūtā avitathāḥ, naite tathā yathā bālapṛthagjanaiḥ kalpitāḥ | naite tathā yathā bālapṛthagjanairlabdhāḥ | tenocyante bodhisattvā iti | tatkasya hetoḥ ? akalpitā avikalpitā hi bodhiḥ, aviṭhapitā hi bodhiḥ, anupalambhā hi bodhiḥ | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmiṃstathāgatena bodhirlabdhā | alambhātsarvadharmāṇāmanupalambhātsarvadharmāṇāṃ bodhirityucyate | evaṃ buddhabodhirityucyate, na punaryathocyate | yena suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhāya cittamutpādayanti-idaṃ cittaṃ bodhāyotpādayiṣyāma iti bodhiṃ manyante, astyasau bodhiryasyāṃ vayaṃ cittamutpādayiṣyāma iti, na te bodhisattvā ityucyante, utpannasattvāsta ucyante | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? tathā hi utpādābhiniviṣṭāścittābhiniviṣṭā bodhimabhiniviśante | ye bodhāya cittamutpādayanti, te bodhicittābhiniviṣṭā bodhisattvā ityucyante | yasmādabhisaṃskurvanti, tasmātte bodhāya cittamutpādayanti | tenocyante | abhisaṃskārasattvā iti | na te bodhisattvāḥ | tatkasya hetoḥ ? utpannasattvāsta ucyante | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin śakyaṃ bodhāya cittamutpādayitum | anutpannā hi bodhiḥ, acittā hi bodhiḥ | utpādameva te suvikrāntavikrāmin abhiniviśante| na te'nutpādaṃ prajānanti| yā punaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin utpādasamatā, sā bhūtatā | yā ca cittasamatā yā ca bhūtasamatā, yā ca bhūtasamatā yā ca samatā sā bodhiḥ | yatra ca yathābhūtatā, na tatra kaścidvikalpaḥ | te punarvikalpya cittaṃ bodhiṃ cābhiniviśya dvayato bodhāya cittamutpādayanti | na hi suvikrāntavikrāmin anyaccittamanyā bodhiḥ, na ca citte bodhiḥ, nāpi bodhau cittam | yā ca bodhiryacca cittam, sā yathābhūtatā yathāvattā | nātra bodhirna ca cittam, na ca bodhirupalabdhā, notpādo nānutpādaḥ | tena sa bodhisattva ityucyate, yathābhūtasattva ityucyate, mahāsattva ityucyate | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? yā hyabhūtatā, sā tena jñātā | katamā ca sā abhūtatā ? sa sarvaloko hyabhūtaḥ, abhūtaparyāpanno'bhūto'saṃbhūto batāyaṃ lokasaṃniveśaḥ | kimityabhūtasya saṃbhavaḥ ? nābhūtasya kaścitsaṃbhavaḥ | asaṃbhūtaṃ hyabhūtam | tenocyate asvabhāvā abhūtāḥ sarvadharmā iti | yenaivaṃ jñātaḥ, sa ucyate yathābhūtasattva iti | na bhūte bhūtamabhiniviśate, tenocyate yathābhūtasattva iti, na punaryathocyate | tatkasya hetoḥ ? na hi yathābhūte kaścitsattvo vā mahāsattvo vā | yo hi mahāyānamavagāhate, sa ucyate mahāsattva iti ||
katamacca mahāyānam ? sarvaṃ jñānaṃ mahāyānam | katamacca sarvaṃ jñānam ? yatkiṃcitsaṃskṛtaṃ jñānam, laukikaṃ jñānam, tena mahāsattva ityucyate | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? mahatī hi tasya sattvasaṃjñā vigatā, tenocyate mahāsattva iti | mahānasya avidyāskandho vigataḥ, tenocyate mahāsattvaḥ | mahānasya saṃskāraskandho vigataḥ, tenocyate mahāsattvaḥ | mahānasya ajñānaskandho vigataḥ, tenocyate mahāsattvaḥ | mahānasya duḥkhaskandho vigataḥ, tenocyate mahāsattva iti | yairhi suvikrāntavikrāmin mahāsattvasaṃjñā vigarhitā, na ca cittamupalabhante na ca caitasikān dharmān, cittaprakṛtiṃ ca prajānanti, na ca bodhimupalabhante, na ca bodhipakṣikān dharmān, bodhiprakṛtiṃ ca prajānanti, te nājñātacittena bodhiṃ ca paśyanti, na cānyatra bodheścittaṃ paśyanti, na bodhau cittaṃ paśyanti, na citte bodhiṃ paśyanti | ya evaṃ vibhāvayanti, na te ca bhāvayanti na vibhāvīkurvanti, te bhāvānapi nopalabhante na manyante nābhiniviśante, te hi bodhāya cittamutpādayanti | ye ca suvikrāntavikrāmin evaṃ bodhāya cittamutpādayanti, te bodhisattvā ityucyante, na ca te bodhervivartante | tatkasmāddhetoḥ ? bodhāveva te sthitāḥ, ya evaṃ na bodheḥ, na cittasya, na notpādasya, na nirodhasya nānākaraṇaṃ samanupaśyanti | na hyatra kaścitsamanupaśyati, na kaścidabhiniviśate, na kaścidvikalpamāpadyate | ya evaṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin adhimuktivimukticittamutpādayanti, te bhūtā bodhisattvā ityucyante | ye punaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin (cittasaṃjñito) bodhisaṃjñinaśca bodhāya cittamutpādayanti, dūre te bodheḥ, na te'bhyāsannā bodheḥ| ye punaḥ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhernāpi dūre nābhyāsanne samanupaśyanti, te bodherāsannāḥ, taiśca bodhāya cittamutpāditam| etacca me saṃdhāya bhāṣitam-yo hi advayamātmānaṃ prajānāti, sa buddhaṃ dharmaṃ ca prajānāti | tatkasya hetoḥ ? ātmabhāvaṃ sa bhāvayati sarvadharmāṇām, yena advayaparijñayā sarvadharmāḥ parijñātāḥ | ātmasvabhāvaniyatā hi sarvadharmāḥ | yo hi advayadharmaṃ prajānīte, sa buddhadharmān prajānīte | advayadharmaparijñayā buddhadharmaparijñā, ātmaparijñayā sarvatraidhātukaparijñā | ātmaparijñeti suvikrāntavikrāmin pārametatsarvadharmāṇām | katamacca pāraṃ sarvadharmāṇām ? yo hi naiva āramupalabhate na pāraṃ manyate na pāramabhiniviśate, tasya parijñayā pāragata ityucyate, na punaryathocyate| evameṣāṃ suvikrāntavikrāmin bodhisattvabhūmiranugantavyā| sā bodhisattvaprajñāpāramitā, yatra aṇvapi na kiṃcidgantavyaṃ vā adhigantavyaṃ vā | na hyatra āgamanaṃ vā gamanaṃ vā prajñāyate | iti ||
