Sarvaśabdabhāvacarcā
iha sarvaśabdābhāvasādhane
jñānakāryānupalabdhim eke pramāṇayanti|
ekajñānasaṃsargivirahāt kila neha
svabhāvānupalabdher avasaraḥ| tathā hi trayam avaśyam asyām abhidheyaṃ ghaṭādimatpratikṣepeṇa,
viśeṣaṇaṃ svabhāvaḥ phalaṃ ceti| tatra dṛśyaviṣayaviśeṣaṇavaśāt
piśācāder apratiṣedhaḥ, ekajñānasaṃsargivedanasvabhāvatvena
rūpajñānād rasasya| nāpy abhāvapakṣadoṣānuṣaṅgaḥ| vyavahāraphalatayā ca pratyakṣasiddhir
upasaṃhitā| sā ca pratiyogijñānāśraye saty upapadyate| tad eva hi
pratiyogyantarābhāvanāntarīyakatayā tadabhāvavikalpajananasāmarthyāt tatsādhanaṃ
bhavet| tato mūḍhaṃ prati tadātmikā'nupalabdhir abhāvavyavahārasādhanīti
yuktam|
na ca sarvaśabdābhāve sādhye kaścid ekajñānasaṃsargī
labhyata iti nātrāvakāśas tasyāḥ| sa tu
śabdarāśir abhimatapradeśe vidyamānas tadā jñānakāryam anārabhyāsituṃ na
samartha iti kāryapratiṣedhe'pi nirviśeṣaṇaiva sattā pratiṣiddhā bhavatīti
bhāvaḥ|
atra cintyate: na tāvat dhvanir ity eva śravaṇam, vidhirasyāpi prasaṅgāt| tasmād indriyapāṭavasahakṛtasyaiva
śabdasya śravaṇajñānajanakatvam| tac ca śravaṇapāṭavam ekajñānasaṃsargivirahe
duravadhāram| ata eva pradeśapratyakṣāpekṣayā ghaṭaniṣedhaḥ| tato hīndriyaguṇaṃ
gaṇayan ghaṭāparādham evānupalabdher avadhārayati|

na ca manaskāravat svasaṃvedanasiddhiḥ, indriyasya jaḍatvāt| nāpīndriyāntaragamyatvam, atīndriyatvāt| kāryaṃ punar upalabdhir evāsya|
tatsiddhau ca kāryānupalabdher evāsiddhiḥ| asiddhau siddham anaikāntikatvam| na
hi viṣaye saty apīndriyadoṣāt sambhāvyamāno'nupalambhas tadabhāvaniyato nāma|
nābhāva eva śabdasya tajjñānajananayogyas tu
nāstīti brūma iti cet, seyaṃ kuvaidyavṛttir
āyātā, prathamaṃ
prāgalbhyagarbham abhimatapratikaraṇam
abhyupagamyopāyabuddhyopanyastasyānupāyasya pareṇa tattvapratipādane kṛte
paścād asādhyatvaghoṣaṇāt| sarvathā'bhāva eva hi jijñāsite kāryānupalabdhir iyaṃ
sādhanam uktā| na tu jñānajananayogyatāvirahajijñāsāyām| tad yadi pramāṇabhraṃśa
eva kathañcij jñātaḥ, prameyabhraṃśas tu kimaṅgāṅgīkriyate? varaṃ ca pramāṇāntaram eva mṛgyatām|
asādhyataiva tu kasmād avaghuṣyate?
na hi śakyam avadhirasyāśṛṇvataḥ
sannihitabheryādiravābhāvaḥ pratikṣeptum, vidhirāvadhirayor aviśeṣaprasaṅgāt|
sati śrutikṛto'sti viśeṣaḥ prāk paścād iti cet, naivam| yadi hi prāgavasthātaḥ śravaṇaśaktyā
nirviśeṣa eṣaḥ, katham aśrutiḥ sati śabde? anyathā prāg api na syāt| atha visadṛśāvastho'pi
sambhāvyate| śrutāv api na śrāddhātavyam, asya viplavasya sambhāvyamānatvāt| tatrāśravaṇam
abhūtaśravaṇaṃ veti na viśeṣaḥ| ante kutaḥ śaktiviparyaya iti cet, madhye kutas tadabhāva iti samānam|

tasmād apakṣa evāyaṃ sann api śabdas tadā na
śruta iti| kevalaṃ kim atra pramāṇam astv iti cintāyāṃ kāryānupalabdhir
anaikāntikīty uktam eva, śravaṇapāṭavasya
duravadhāratvād iti|
nanu katham etad duravadhāraṃ dṛṣṭaśravaṇapāṭavasmaraṇabalavataḥ
śrotuṃ pravṛttasya, kṣaṇikatve'pi hi visadṛśasahakāripratyayāntaravirahe
visadṛśadaśāsambhavābhāvāt? indriyavikārakāriṇo hi pratyayā dhātukṣobhaprahārādayo nirṇītaśaktayaḥ
svasantāne santānavyākulībhāvahetavaḥ sūpalakṣā eva| anupalakṣitās tu
svaprabhavabhedaśaṅkāṃ katham iva kṣamante? sūkṣmaṃ tu prabhāvavato'dhiṣṭhā nādivikārakāraṇaṃ
śaṅkamānasya śravaṇe'pi ka āśvāsaḥ? tasmād anupalakṣyakāraṇārabdhadiṅmohalakṣanendriyabhrāntidarśane'pi
prasiddhakāraṇānupalakṣaṇān nendriyāṇām atādavasthyavyavasthā| yathā'nyathā
tatpratyayānāṃ bhramatvaprasaṅgāt, tathā'dyāpi kiṃ na gaṇyate? mā bhūt sarvasaṃvṛtivilopaḥ|
abhyāsadaśāsattisamāśrayas tu samānaḥ| na hi
vadhiravarasyābhiropārūḍhaśravaṇabalasyāpy aśravane'bhāvaniścayaṃ brūmaḥ, balaniścayasyaivābhāvāt| tadvad anyasyāpy
akalitabalasya| atyantābhyāse hi sakalarajanīsuptaprabuddhānām adarśane'pi
tadavasthāsaṃvedinām aviparītavyavahāravṛttidarśanāt kaḥ prastāvo jāgrataḥ
svātmany anyathātvaśaṅkāyāḥ?
tasmād atādavasthyasya tadvyavasthāyā vā niṣedhaḥ, prasiddhakāraṇābhāvāt tadupalakṣaṇābhāvād vā|
yadi darśanaśravaṇādāv abhyāsadaśāpekṣayā'dhyakṣatvanibandhanaṃ
tādavasthyam icchatā, saṃvṛtivyavasthitenendriyatādavasth-

yaṃ sāmagrīpratibaddhabuddhitādavasthyaṃ vā
sādhāraṇaśaktyapekṣayā svasaṃvedanam eva vā śaraṇam āsthīyate| tad evāśravaṇadaśāyām
apīti katham anekāntaḥ śabdābhāve?
nanu jñānātmany eva svasaṃvedanam iti cet, na|
ekādhimokṣaviṣayeṣv ekakāryopayogiṣu|
ekadhīḥ sarvaviṣayā sthitā nirbhāgavartiṣu

pañcaskandheṣv apy aham ity eko'dhimokṣaḥ| bhāṣaṇādāv
ekasminn arthe parasparopādeye copayogaḥ| ghaṭādisañjñake tu rūparasādau
prasiddho'yam nyāyaḥ, anyathā vyavahārāyogāt|
nanu na śarīpratyakṣaṃ buddhim anveti| evam
etat prātisvikarūpāpekṣayā rūparasādivad eva| sāmānyena tu gṛhītvaikadhīviṣayatvam
ucyate, yāvan na nirbandho
vivecane| vivecane tu pṛthakpramāṇam uktam| tena pratyakṣaś caitro na ca
buddhir adhyakṣeti dvitayam aviruddham| ata eva tadavastho'ham iti vikalpo'pi
saṃvedanānusārī sarvaviṣaya eva|
bhrāntir iyam iti cet, na, bādhakābhāvād bhrāntyasiddheḥ| tasmāt
pūrvapratītaśrotraśaktes tadavasthāniścayasambhavād aśrutiḥ śabdasyaivāparādhād
iti jñānābhāvenāpi tadabhāvasiddhir aikāntikīti na prakṛtavyāghātaḥ| iyaty eva
tarhi svabhāvānupalabdher lakṣaṇasāmagrīti kāryānupalabdhisañjñākaraṇe ko'rthaḥ, pratyayāntarasākalyaṃ svabhāvaviśeṣaṃ cāpannasyaiva
śabdasyānupalabdhā niṣedhāt?

tathā'py anyasañjñāyāṃ ghaṭaniṣedhe'pi ko niṣeddhā? kevalaṃ ghaṭavat śabdasyāpi dṛśyānupalabdhyā'pi
niṣedhaḥ sādhyo jāta ity ucyate|
tatraikajñānasaṃsargisambhavād yuktas tayā niṣedha
iti cet, tatraiva tāvad ekajñānasaṃsargiṇaḥ kim apekṣayā? rūpadarśane hi rasasya viprakṛṣṭadeśatayā'nupalabdhilakṣaṇaprāptatvād
evāpratiṣedhaḥ, prāpyakāritvād ghrāṇarasanasparśanānām|
naivam, indriyātiriktasyālokasya tatrāpekṣyatvāt| sa
hi bahiḥsula bhakāraṇidhīnopajanāpajanadharmako na svātmatādavasthyasādhya iti
tadartham ekajñānasaṃsargo'pekṣyamāṇa indriyasādguṇyajñāne'pi sahāyībhaviṣyati|
evam yatrālokanirapekṣaiva grahaṇaśaktiḥ, tatra na kiñcid ekajñānasaṃsargyapekṣayeti
siddham| tac ca nāma kvacit sādhane'pekṣyate, yadantareṇa virodhāsiddhisandeheṣv anyatamadoṣāsattiḥ|
na ca dvividhopalabdhiyogyatāpannasya kvacid anupalabdhyā niṣedhe sā'sti, yena saṃsargī niyatam apekṣyeta| yatrāpy ayam
apekṣyate, tatrāpy
ālokāpekṣapratipattino vastunaḥ pratiṣedhe viśeṣaṇāsiddhiparihārārtham
eva| na caitāvatā sarvatra tadapekṣā| na hi vināṣaṃ praty anapekṣā
vyāptisādhanī sarvatra kṣaṇabhaṅgasādhane'pi svabhāvahetāv apekṣyate|
yadi cāyam apekṣya eva kimaṅga dṛśyaviśeṣaṇena, kenacid
ekajñānasaṃsargino dṛśyatvāvyabhicārāt? na hi piśācasya kenacid eka jñānasaṃsargaḥ|
eka evārtha ubhayathāpīti
naikaprayoge'nyaprayojanacarceti cet, na, sāmānyaviśeṣabhāvena bhedasyāvyaktatvāt| saṃsargo
hi na viśe-

ṣaṇaṃ vyabhicarati| viśeṣaṇamātraṃ tu taṃ
vyabhicapaty eva| ata eva viśeṣaṇasiddhaye saṃsarga upanīyate| na tu viśeṣaṇaṃ
saṃsargākṛṣṭaye prabhavati, śabde'pi prasaṅgāt| tathā ca pakṣakṣaya iti kaḥ śramasyārthaḥ? tasmād ekajñānasaṃsargo nāma prakṛtodāharaṇāpekṣayaivodghuṣyate, na svabhāvānupalabdhau sarvatrāpekṣyatvena|
prastute hi kalasapratiṣedhe sā dig astu saviśeṣaṇasiddhyai|
nopalabdham upalabhyam itīyallakṣaṇaṃ khalu nijānupalabdheḥ| tathā ca lakṣaṇe
prayoge copalabdhilakṣaṇaprāptānupalabdhimātropanyāsaḥ| śāstre
viparyayabādhopadarśane ca pratyayāntarasannidhau svabhāvaviśeṣavataḥ
sattve'nupalabdher asambhavaḥ khyāpyate| anyathā prayojakam aṃśaṃ saṃsargam eva
sarvatra darśayet, viśeṣaṇavat|
tādātmyaṃ tu dṛśyatvam abhyupagamyaiva niṣidhyata
iti viśeṣaṇasyānuktimātram, na punar aprayojakatvaṃ vyāpter iva viduṣi, anvayoktiviśeṣe vā vyatirekasya| tasmān nyāyanāthasyāpi nāvaśayam ekajñānasaṃsargivyapekṣābhiprāyaḥ
svabhāvānupalabdhau|
api caivaṃ kāryānupalabdhāv eva sarvasaṅgraham
ācakṣīta, svabhāvānupalabdher api
tadekadeśatvāt| sarvapramāṇasaṅgrahavyavasthāṃ ca kāryānumāne kuryāt, svasaṃvedanād anyatra|
tasmād indriyajñānaviṣaye na
kāryānumānavyavasthā yathā tathā tadagṛhīta ity eva kutaḥ
kāryānupalabdhivyavasthā'pi
śāstrakārasya? yathā hi pratyakṣavyavasthāvilopabhayam
ekatra, tathā'nyatra
svabhāvānupalambhasya| yathā vā'pratyakṣe kāryaṃ liṅgam, tathā'pratyakṣayogya eva tadanupalabdhir iti
samānam|
yathā vā'yam eva bhagavān jñāne
jñānāntarābhāvam api dṛśyānupalabdhyā vyavahārayati| yadāha dṛśyātmano vā
vikalpasya darśa-

ne'dṛṣṭir vikalpakalpanām indriyajñāne
pratihanti iti, tadā ka ekajñānasaṃsargī? kiṃ caivamabhyupagame kāryānupalabdher apy
asiddhir iti prakṛtamatahānir eva| na hi jñānakāryasyābhāvaḥ kāryānupalabdher
eva boddhavyo'navasthāprasaṅgāt|
svasaṃvedanaṃ
caikākāraniyatam anyābhāvaniścayam ākṣipaty eva| kevalaṃ vimataṃ prati yadi syāj
jñānāntaram, anubhūyeteti dṛśyānupalabdhir
eva śaraṇam, vyavahāre bāhyavat|
viśeṣaṇānuccāraṇaṃ tu syāt| na tv anyā gatiḥ|
saṃsargāpekṣāyāṃ ca sā'pi nāstīti sandigdhāsiddho hetuḥ| tasmād anupalabdher
ekajñānasaṃsargāpekṣāniyamam anulaṅghya vartitum aśakyam|
bahirapekṣayā niyama eveti cet, na, tatrāpi nibandhanābhāvāt| yad dhi sāmarthyam
antas tadatikrame, tasya bahir api
lābhasambhave kiṃ na sadṛśī sthitiḥ? vicitro hi viṣayasvabhāvaḥ| tatra svātmā
tāvat pratyakṣībhāve yogyatāmātram apekṣate, śabdagandharasasparśatamisrālokās tu
manaskārātiriktam indriyam, ghaṭādisanniveśinas tu rūpaviśeṣāḥ prakāśam api prāyaśaḥ| tathaiṣāṃ
vidhāv upalabdhir iva svabhāvasyānupalabdhir api niṣedhe kiṃ na bhinnām eva
sāmagrīm apekṣeta?
tatrādye yathā nendriyatādavasthyenopayogaḥ, tathā madhyamīyeṣv api naikajñānasaṃsargiṇā|
anyātiriktāpekṣiṇas tadapekṣā yujyante

'pi| tato yathā yadi buddhiḥ syād, upalabhyetaiva kim indriyatādavasthyāpekṣayeti
sāmarthyam, tathā yadi syād rasādiḥ, tadavasthendriyeṇa mayopalabhyetaiva kim
ekajñānasaṃsargiṇeti śakyam eva| tasmād bahir api niyamasambhāvanā'tidūraiva|
abhyupagame vā jñāne'py apekṣeta|
tatrāpi saṃvedanaikapratyakṣāpekṣaikajñānasaṃsargo'stīti
cet, nanu na saṃvedanaṃ
nāmaikaṃ pratyakṣam asti, dharmamātrasya tasya
pratisvaṃ bhedāt| sāmānyam āśrityaikajñānasañjñaya tu parituṣṭau
bhinnendriyagrāhyayor api svasaṃpvedanendriyajñānaviṣayayor api vā prasaṅgaḥ|
yayoḥ sator anyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicāraḥ, tatreyaṃ vyavastheti cet, rūpayor api nāyaṃ niyamaḥ, pradeśapiśācayor adarśanāt| viśiṣṭayor asty
eva| na ca sāmānyāparādho viśeṣam āskandatīti cet, evam api śabdākāśayoḥ śabdamanaskārayor vā
prasaṅgaḥ| na hy ākāśapratyakṣaṃ manaskārasaṃvedanapratyakṣaṃ vā sattve
śabdasya pratyakṣaṃ vyabhicarati| vyabhicāre punaḥ kāryānupalabdher anekāntaprasaṅgaḥ|
tasmād avyāpakam ekajñānāpekṣaṇam| anyasyāpi ca sulabham ity alaṃ vimatyā|
api cāyaṃ cittayor ekajñānasaṃsargo'pūrva eva, mukhyasyābhāvāt, gauṇasya caikāyatanasaṅgrahābhāvāt|
upalakṣaṇam ekāyatanasaṅgraha iti cet, ekajñānasaṃsarga eva kiṃ nopalakṣaṇam
ākhyāyate? prakṛtaghaṭodāharaṇāpekṣayā
tu dvayam apy etad uktam ity anabhiniveśaḥ| yathā hy ekāyatanasaṅgraheṇa
anyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicāra upalakṣyate, tathaikajñānasaṃsargeṇāpi pratiyogimātrāpekṣaiveti
yujyate|

kaś ca kasya pratiyogī? yayor ekākāniyataṃ pratyakṣam
itarābhāvaniścayam upapādayituṃ śaknotīti| kayoś caivamanupalabdhiḥ? yayor ekapratyakṣam aparapratyakṣāvyabhicāri|
tayor hi sator naikarūpaniyatā pratipattiḥ, asambhavāt| tatas tāv aviśiṣṭakāladeśadaśāsantānāpekṣaya'nyonyasya
pratiyoginau vyavasthāpyete| sadṛśaḥ saṃvitilābhalakṣaṇo'yogas tayor iti kṛtvā|
ata eva tayor ekākāraniyataṃ vedanam anyasya pratiṣedhavikalpam upapādayituṃ
śaknotīti tādṛśām abhāvaḥ pratyakṣasiddho'bhidhīyate| tam eva niścayaṃ mūḍhaṃ
prati pratiyogyupalambhasvabhāvānupalabdhir upalabdhiyogyatā yugayoginaḥ
santanvantī vyāhāravyavahārāv api sādhayatīti tāvataivetaramatapratikṣepeṇa
svabhāvaphalayor api pariniṣṭhāsiddhau kim ekendriyagrāhyatāpekṣopagraheṇa?
ayaṃ hi pratiyoga ekenānekena vendriyeṇa
grāhyayor arthayor jñānayor jñānārthayor vā sādhāraṇo'bhāvasādhane ca
nirapavāda iti kas tadanurodhaḥ? yathā hi bhūtalakalasayor jñānayor vaikarūpavedanam anyapratyakṣāvyabhicāritayā
tadabhāvaniścayotpādane paryāptam, tathā
pānakapānakarmaṇi dvayam upalabdhavatas tādavasthyasaṃvedinaḥ pradīpakavalane
sparśamātropalabdhī rasābhāvaniścayajanane|

svavikalpākāramātrasaṃvedanaṃ vā
sannihitasparśābhāvāvasāya sādhane śaknoty eva| na hi tadvikalpavedanaṃ tadā
sataḥ sparśasya pratyakṣaṃ vyabhicarati|
na cānyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicārād anyad anyatrāpi
dvitīyābhāvaniścayotpādanasāmarthyaṃ nāma| nāpy abhāvaniścayotpādanasāmarthyād
arthāntaram abhāvapratyakṣīkaraṇaṃ nāma| na hy asau vigrahavān, yataḥ sākṣātkartavyaḥ|
yadā ca paryudāsena pratiyogy evābhāvaḥ, tadā tv asya mukhyaiva pratyakṣasiddhir iti
yuktaṃ sarvatra vyavahāraphalatvam| na cāyaṃ pratiyogaḥ svabhāvādiviprakarṣiṇāṃ
kenacid asti, yena kasyacit pratyakṣaṃ
tadabhāvavibhāvanāya prabhavet| na caivaṃ nivṛttimātram anupalabdhir uktā
bhavati|
bhaṭṭas tu paryudāsapakṣe'pi yathoktaṃ
pratiyoginam anapekṣyānyamātrasyopalabdhim anupalabdhiṃ pramāṇayatīti tanmate
yuktaḥ piśācādipratikṣepaḥ| rūpadarśinas tu rasas taddeśaviprakṛṣṭa eva| na
tena pratiyogaṃ yathoktam āvahati| rasanāgrasaṅgī tu nābhāvam anupalabdhau
vyabhicaratiti na doṣaḥ kaśclt| ata eva kāryānupalabdhyādīnām sākṣād akṣamaḥ
svabhāvānupalabdhāv antarbhāvaḥ paramparyeṇocyate, tādṛśasya pratiyogasyābhāvat|
tasmād upalambhayogyatāprāptasyānupalambha ity
eva dṛśyānupa labdher lakṣaṇam| sa ca yathoktapratiyogyupalambharūpatayā
siddhasyābhāvasya vyavahārikasyaivāvatiṣṭhata iti na nyāyaśāstrayor uparo-

dhaḥ| ekendriyagrāhyopanyāsas tu ghaṭādyudāharaṇāpekṣa
eva mantavya iti sthitam|
tatra, yadā tāvat timirālokasañjñite ākāśapradeśe
dśyamāne devakulādau vā bheryādiravābhāvaṃ pratipadyate, tadā tad eva tadekākāroparaktajñānaviṣayībhavajjñānaṃ
va tādṛśaṃ niyataprāptikapratyakṣodayasya niṣedhyasya tajjñānasya vā
paryudāso'nupalabdhiḥ|
avyāpṛtacakṣus tu rasādis tajjñānaṃ vā'ntato
manaskārākāro jñeyaparyudāsaḥ| tatsaṃvedanaṃ ca paryudāsaḥ|
na hi tad api śabdapratyakṣodayavinākṛtam
upapadyate paṭuśravaṇasya| nirvikalpakasya tu na niṣedhe' dhikāraḥ| kevalaṃ
yāvaddeśasambaddhasya dhvaner adhyakṣaṃ na vyabhicarati rasādipratyakṣaṃ
vikalpākārasaṃvedanaṃ vā tāvaddeśaśabdāpekṣa eva
paryudāso vaktavyaḥ, anyaṃ prati
pratiyogasyānyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicāralakṣaṇasya vaktum aśakyatvāt| tataś ca
pūrvavat pratyakṣasiddhir abhāvasya|
vyavahāraś ca phalaṃ dṛśyānupalabdher eva
śabde'pīti siddham|
ekadhīvirahe'py asyā vyāpārānuparodhataḥ|
anākṛṣṭer aniṣṭasya pratiyogisamāśrayāt ||2||

ravādyākāraśūnyānyadhīḥ|

na kāryānupalambhanasya|
akṣasya siddhaṃ yadi tādavasthyaṃ phalaṃ

avaśyāpekṣaṇīyatve svabhāvānupalabdhiṣu|
saṃsargasya kathaṃ siddhir jñānakāryādṛśo'pi vaḥ

bāhya evaiṣa niyamo yadi tatrāpi kiṃ kṛtaḥ|
pradeśamātrayogyatvāc citrā hi viṣayasthitiḥ||5||
anālokasya dhīr yadvad bādhā nānuktabhedikā|
saṃsargiṇam anādṛtya tathā bādhāt tu kutracit

tasyās tu rūpaṃ pratiyogivastuvijñānam eveti na
bhaṭṭabhittiḥ|
tathā hi so'pi pratiyogibhāvo mithaḥ
samakṣāvyabhicāra eva||7||
tata evaikavijñānam anyābhāvavikalpakṛt|
nābhāvabodho'dhyakṣeṇa tatkṛtān niścayāt paraḥ||8||
yathoktapratiyogitve saty eva kṣamam akṣajam|
tadabhāvāvasāyāyetīdṛśī vastunaḥ sthitiḥ||9||
nanu pratiyogy evaikajñānasaṃsargī, sākṣād ekajñānasaṃsarga syābhimatatvāt, mukhyatayā sākārasvīkārāt| tataḥ sāmarthyād
ekaśabdo'vyabhicāramātropalakṣaṇatayā'vatiṣṭhate|

pratyakṣaikajātyapekṣayā caikavṛttir eva| na
caivaṃ sañjñaṃātram, tathāruḍhadarśanāt, yathā eko vrīhiḥ sampannaḥ subhikṣaṃ karoti
iti| tena yatrāpy ekajñānasaṃsargiṇi dṛśyamāna iti ucyate, tatrāpy anyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicāriṇīty ayam
evārthaḥ| ekāyatanabhāva eva
tūpalakṣaṇatayā prakṛtāpekṣatayā vyākhyeyaḥ, yathā pradeśas tajjñānaṃ cānupalabdhir iti|
tataś ca svabhāvānupalabdhau pratiyogisamāśraya ity ekajñānasaṃsargasamāśraya
evokto bhavatīti katham avyāpakam ekajñānasaṃsargitvaṃ nāma? satyam evam|
pratiyugavasitaikadhīsthitir yadi bhavate
pratibhāti kā kṣatiḥ|
nanu sakalakalāpasaṃhṛtaṃ svayam adṛśo'stu niṣedhanaṃ
dhvaneḥ||10||
anyonyapratyakṣāvyabhicārasya kenāpi dhvanāv
api sambhavāt, itarasya tu
pratiyogino'yogāt| pratiyogaparyavasitam ekajñānasaṃsargaṃ manyamānasya
svānupalabdhitaḥ prakṛtaniṣedhe kā'parāpekṣā? tasmān na yogyadeśāśeṣaśabdābhāvasādhane
jñānakāryānupalambhaḥ śaraṇīkaraṇīyaḥ, svabhāvānupalabdhyaiva siddher iti|
timirālokayos tu parasparadeśaparihāreṇa sthitayor abhinnendriyakṛta
evaikajñānasaṃsargaḥ sulabha iti tadabhāvasādhanādhikāre dūrataiva
svabhāvānupalambhād anyasādhanacinteti sarvaśabdābhāvacarcā samāptā|
