lajjāvibhāge ṣoḍaśaḥ ślokāḥ|
lajjā vipakṣahīnā jñānena gatā ca nirvikalpena|
hīnānavadyaviṣayā sattvānāṃ pācikā dhīre||1||

etena svabhāvasahāyālambanakarmasaṃpadā caturvidhaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ bodhisattvalajjāyāḥ saṃdarśitaṃ| hīnānavadyaviṣayā| śrāvakapratyekabuddhānāṃ [yānaṃ?] tadvi[ddhi]hīnaṃ ca mahāyānādanavadyaṃ ca| tena ca bodhisattvo lajjate| kathaṃ sattvānāṃ pācikā| tasyāmeva lajjā[yāṃ] paraprasthāpanāt|

ṣaṇṇāṃ pāramitānāṃ vipakṣe vṛddhyā bodhisattvānāṃ |
pratipakṣe hānitaścāpyatīva saṃpadyate lajjā|

iyaṃ bodhisattvānāṃ bṛddhyā parihānitaśca lajjā [?] pāramitāviṣakṣavṛddhyā tatpratipakṣaparihāṇyā cātyarthaṃ lajjotpādanāt|

ṣaṇṇāṃ pāramitānāṃ niṣevaṇālasyato bhavati lajjā|
kveśānukūladharmaprayogataścaiva dhīrāṇāṃ||2||

iyamaprayoga[prayoga?]lajjā pāramitābhāvanāyāmaprayogena| kleśānukūleṣu dharmeṣvindriyāguptadvāratvādiṣu ca prayogena lajjotpādanāt|

asamāhitasvabhāvā mṛdumadhyā hīnabhūmikā lajjā|
hīnāśayā samānā hīnā hi tadanyathā tvadhikā||3||

iyaṃ mṛdvadhimātrā lajjā| pūrvanirdeśānusāreṇāsya ślokasyārtho 'nugantavyaḥ| ataḥ paraṃ caturbhistribhiśca ślokairyathākramaṃ lajjāvipakṣe lajjāyāṃ ca doṣaguṇabhedaṃ darśayati|

lajjārahito dhīmān kleśānadhivāsayatyayoniśataḥ|
pratighopekṣāmānaḥ sattvānupahanti śīlaṃ ca||4||

ityatra ātmavyābādhāya cetayate paravyābādhāyobhayavyābādhāya ceti saṃdarśitam| ayoniśata ityayoniśo manaskāreṇa| kathamupekṣayā sattvānupahanti| sattvārthapramādataḥ|

kaukṛtyātsavilekho bhavati sa saṃmānahānimāpnoti|
śrāddhātmā[mā]nuṣasaṃghācchāsrā copekṣyate tasmāt||5||

sahadhārmi kairjinasutairvinindyate lokato 'yaśo labhate|
dṛṣṭe dharme

ityanena dṛṣṭadhārmikamavadyaṃ prasavatīti darśitaṃ| yathākramamātmaparadevatāśāstṛbhirapavadanāt| vijñaiḥ sabrahmacāribhirdharmatayā vigarhaṇāt| digvidikṣu ca pāpakāvarṇaniścaraṇāt|

'nyatra kṣaṇarahito jāyate bhūyaḥ||6||
ityanena sāṃparāyikamavadyaṃ prasavatīti saṃdarśitamakṣaṇeṣūpapatteḥ|
prāptāprāptavihāniṃ śuklairdharmaiḥ samāpnute tena|

ityanena dṛṣṭadharmasāṃparāyikamavadyaṃ prasavatīti saṃdarśitaṃ| prāptakuśaladharmaparihāṇitaḥ| aprāptaparihāṇitaśca yathākramam|

duḥkhaṃ viharati tasmānmanaso 'pyasvasthatāmeti||7||

ityanena tajjaṃ caitasikaṃ duḥkhaṃ daurmanasyaṃ pratisaṃvedayata iti saṃdarśitam|
ete sarve doṣā hīmatsu bhavanti no jinasuteṣu|
ityata upādāya lajjāguṇo veditavyaḥ| yadete ca doṣā na bhavanti|
deveṣu ca manujeṣu ca nityaṃ saṃjāyate ca budhaḥ||8||

ityetadasya vipākaphalaṃ bhavati|
saṃbhārāṃśca sa bodheḥ kṣipraṃ pūrayati lajjayā dhīmān|
ityetadadhipatiphalaṃ|
sattvānāṃ pācanayā na khidyate caiva jinaputraḥ||9||

ityetatpuruṣakāraphalam|
sa vipakṣapratipakṣai rahito 'rahitaśca jāyate satataṃ|
ityete visaṃyoganiṣpandaphale| yaduta vipakṣarahitatvaṃ pratipakṣārahitatvaṃ ca|
ityetamānuśaṃsaṃ hīmānāpnoti jinaputraḥ||10||

iti yathoktadoṣābhāvaṃ guṇayogaṃ ca prāpnotīti saṃdarśitam|
doṣamalino hi bālo hīvirahātsuvasanaiḥ sugupto 'pi|
nirvasano'pi jinasuto hrīvasano muktadoṣamalaḥ||11||

etena vasraviśeṣaṇaṃ hriyaḥ| tadanyavasraprāvṛtasyāpi hrīrahitasya doṣamalinatvāt| nagnasyāpi na hrīmato nirmalatvāt| ākāśamiva na lipto hrīyukto jinasuto bhavati dharmaiḥ| dharmairiti lokadharmaiḥ|

hībhūṣitaśca śobhati saṃparkagato jinasutānām||12||
etena ślokena hriya ākāśabhūṣaṇasamatāṃ darśayati|

māturiva vatsalatvaṃ hriyo vineyeṣu bodhisatvānāṃ|
trātavyasattvopekṣāyā lajjanāt|
ārakṣā cāpi hrīḥ saṃsaratāṃ sarvadoṣebhyaḥ||13||

hastyaśvakāyādibhūtatvāt| ebhirvastrādidṛṣṭāntairvihāre kleśapratipakṣatāṃ cāre lokadharmapratipakṣatāṃ| sahadhārmikasaṃvāsānukūlatāṃ| sattvāparipākānukūlatām| akliṣṭasaṃsārānukūlatāṃ ca hriyo darśayati|

sarveṣu nādhivāsā sarveṣvadhivāsanāpravṛttiśca|
sarveṣu ca pravṛttirhrīvihitaṃ hīmato liṅgam||14||

etena caturvidhaṃ hrīkṛtaṃ liṅgaṃ hīmato darśayati| yaduta sarvadoṣeṣvanadhivāsanā cāpravṛttiśca| sarvaguṇeṣvadhivāsanā ca pravṛttiśca|

hrībhāvanā pradhānā svacittato dharmato 'dhimokṣācca|
āśayato 'pi vibhutvādakalpanādaikyataścāpi||15||

ityasya nirdeśo yathāpūrvaṃ|
dhṛtivibhāge sapta ślokāḥ|

dhṛtiśca bodhisattvānāṃ lakṣaṇena prabhedataḥ|
dṛḍhatvena sa sarvebhyastadanyebhyo viśiṣyate||16||

vīryaṃ samādhiḥ prajñā ca sattvaṃ dhairyaṃ dhṛtirmatā|
nirbhīto bodhisattvo hi trayādyasmātpravartate||17||

etena dhṛtilakṣaṇaṃ saparyāyaṃ sasādhanaṃ coktaṃ| vīryādikaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ sattvādikaṃ paryāyaḥ| śeṣaṃ sādhanaṃ| katamasmāttrayānnirbhītaḥ pravartata ityāha|

līnatvācca calatvācca mohāccotpadyate bhayaṃ|
kṛtyeṣu tasmādvijñeyā dhṛtisaṃjñā nije traye||18||

sarvakāryeṣu hi līnacittatayā vā bhayamutpadyate tadanutsāhataḥ| calacittatayā vā cittānavasthānataḥ| saṃmohato vā tadupāyajñānataḥ| tatpratipakṣāśca yathākramaṃ vīryādayaḥ| tasmānnijavīryāditraye dhṛtisaṃjñā veditavyā nija ityapratisaṃkhyānakaraṇīye|

prakṛtyā praṇidhāne ca nirapekṣatva eva ca|
sattvavipratipattau ca gambhīryaudāryasaṃśrave||19||

vineyadurvinayatve kāyācintye jinasya ca|
duṣkareṣu vicitreṣu saṃsārātyāga eva ca||20||

niḥsaṃkleśe ca tatraiva dhṛtirdhīrasya jāyate|
asamā ca tadanyebhyaḥ so 'gre dhṛtimatāṃ yataḥ[mataḥ]||21||

ebhistribhiḥ ślaukairdhṛtiprabhedaḥ darśayati| yathākramaṃ gotrataḥ| cittotpādataḥ| svārthataḥ| satvārthataḥ [parārthataḥ| tatvārthataḥ|] prabhāvataḥ| satvaparipācanataḥ| paramabodhitaśca| tatra nirapekṣatvaṃ svārthaprayuktasya kāyajīvitanirapekṣatvādveditavyaṃ| punarduṣkaracaryātaḥ| saṃcintyabhavopapattitaḥ| tadasaṃkleśato 'pi prabhedaḥ|

kumitraduḥkhagambhīraśravādvīro na kampate|
śalabhaiḥ pakṣavātaiśca samudraiśca sumeruvat||22||

etena bodhisattvadhṛterdṛḍhatvaṃ darśayati| upamātrayaṃ trayeṇākampane[naṃ] yathākramaṃ veditavyam|

akhedavibhāge dvau ślaukau|
akhedo bodhisatvānāmasamastriṣu vastuṣu|
śrutātṛptimahāvīryaduḥkhe hrīdhṛtiniśritaḥ||23||

tīvracchando mahābodhāvakhedo dhīmatāṃ mataḥ|
aniṣpannaśca niṣpannaḥ suniṣpannaśca bhūmiṣu||24||

ābhyāṃ vastuto niśrayataḥ svabhāvataḥ prabhedataścākhedo nirdiṣṭaḥ| triṣu vastuṣu| śrutātṛptau| dīrghakālavīryārambhe| saṃsāraduḥkhe ca| hriyaṃ dhṛtiṃ ca niśritya| tābhyāṃ hi khedotpattito lajjayate na cotpādayati| tīvracchando mahābodhāviti svabhāvaḥ| chande hi vyāvṛtte khinno bhavati| aniṣpanno 'dhimukticaryābhūmau| niṣpannaḥ saptabhūmiṣu| suniṣpannaḥ pareṇa ityeṣa prabhedaḥ|

śāstrajñatāyāṃ dvau ślokau|
vastunā cādhikāreṇa karmaṇā ca viśiṣyate|
lakṣaṇenākṣayatvena phalasyodāgamena ca||25||

śāstrajñatā hi dhīrāṇāṃ samādhimukhadhāraṇī|
gṛhītā sattvapākāya saddharmasya ca dhāraṇe||26||

tatra śāstrajñatāyāḥ pañca vidyāsthānāni vastu| adhyātmavidyā hetuvidyā śabdavidyā cikitsāvidyā śilpakarmasthānavidyā ca| svaparārthakriyā adhikāraḥ| karma prathamavastuni svayaṃ pratipattiḥ parebhyaśca tatsamākhyānaṃ | dvitīye taddoṣaparijñānaṃ paravādinigrahaśca| tṛtīye svayaṃ sunirūktābhidhānaṃ parasaṃpratyayaśca| caturthe pareṣāṃ vyādhiśamanaṃ| pañcame parebhyastatsaṃvibhāgaḥ| lakṣaṇaṃ śāstrajñatāyā etānyeva pañca vastūni śrutāni bhavanti| dhṛtāni| vacasā parijitāni| manasā anvīkṣitāni| dṛṣṭyā supratividdhāni| śrutvā yathākramaṃ tadudgrahaṇātaḥ| svādhyāyataḥ| prasannena manasārthacittanato yathāyogaṃ taddoṣaguṇāvagamāt svākhyātadurākhyātāvadhāraṇataśca| akṣayatvaṃ nirupadhiśeṣanirvāṇe 'pyakṣayāt| phalasamudāgamaḥ sarvadharmasarvākārajñatā| sā punareṣā śāsrajñatā bodhisattvānāṃ samādhimukhairdhāraṇīmukhaiśca saṃgṛhītā| sattvaparipākāya ca bhavati| samādhimukhaistatkṛtyānuṣṭhānāt| saddharmapāraṇāya ca dhāraṇībhistaddhāraṇāt|

lokajñatāyāṃ catvāraḥ ślokāḥ|

kāyena vacasā caiva satyajñānena cāsamā|
lokajñatā hi dhīrāṇāṃ tadanyebhyo viśiṣyate||27||

kathaṃ kāyenetyāha| kṛtasmitamukhā nityaṃ| kathaṃ vācetyāha| dhīrāḥ pūrvābhibhāṣiṇaḥ|

sā punaḥ kimarthamityāha| sattvānāṃ bhājanatvāya|
kasminnarthe bhājanatvāya| saddharmapratipattaye||28||

kathaṃ satyajñānenetyāha|
satyadvayādyataśceṣṭo lokānāmudayo 'sakṛt|
dvayādastaṃgamastasmāt tajjño lokajña ucyate||29||

dvābhyāṃ satyābhyāṃ lokasyodayaḥ punaḥ punaḥ saṃsāro yaścodayo yena ceti kṛtvā| dvābhyāmastaṃgamo nirodhamārgasatyābhyāṃ| yaścāstaṃgamo yena ceti kṛtvā| tasmāttajjño lokajña ucyate| lokasyodayāstaṃgāminyā prajñayā samanvāgatatvāt|

śamāya prāptaye teṣāṃ dhīmān satyeṣu yujyate|
satyajñānadyato dhīmān lokajño hi nirucyate||30||

anena lokajñatāyāḥ karma nirdiṣṭaṃ| tatra śamāya duḥkhasamudayasatyayoḥ prāptaye nirodhamārgasatyayoḥ|

pratisaraṇavibhāge trayaḥ ślokāḥ
ārṣaśca deśanādharmo artho'bhiprāyiko'sya ca|
prāmāṇikaśca nītārtho nirjalpā prāptirasya ca||31||

idaṃ pratisaraṇānāṃ lakṣaṇaṃ| tatra prāmāṇiko 'rtho yaḥ pramāṇabhūtena nīto vibhaktaḥ śāstrā vā tatpramāṇīkṛtena vā| nirjalpā prāptiradhigamajñānaṃ lokottaraṃ| tasyānabhilāpyatvāt| śeṣaṃ gatārtham|

pratikṣepturyathoktasya mithyāsaṃtīritasya ca|
sābhilāṣa[pa]sya ca prāpteḥ pratiṣedho 'tra deśitaḥ||32||

prathame pratisaraṇe ārṣadharmapratikṣeptuḥ pudnalasya pratiṣedho deśitaḥ| dvitīye yathārutārthasya vyañjanasya nābhiprāyikārthena| tṛtīye mithyā cintitārthasya viparītaṃ nīyamānasya| caturthe sābhilāṣa[pa]sya jñānasya[ā]pratyātmavedanīyasya|

adhimuktervicārācca yathāvatparataḥ śravāt|
nirjalpādapi ca jñānādapraṇāśo hi dhīmatāṃ||33||

ayaṃ pratisaraṇānuśaṃsaḥ| prathamena pratisaraṇenārṣadharmādhimuktito na praṇaśyati| dvitīyena svayamābhiprāyikārthavicāraṇāt| tṛtīyena paratastadaviparītārthanayaśravāt| caturthena lokottarajñānāt|

pratisaṃvidvibhāge catvāraḥ ślokāḥ|
asamā bodhisattvānāṃ catasraḥ pratisaṃvidaḥ|
paryāye lakṣaṇe vākye jñāne jñānācca tā matāḥ||34||

prathamā paryāye jñānamekaikasyārthasya yāvanto nāmaparyāyāḥ| dvitīyā lakṣaṇe yasyārthasya tannāma| tṛtīyā vākye pratyekaṃ janapadeṣu yā bhāṣāḥ| caturthā jñāne svayaṃ yatpratibhānam| idaṃ pratisaṃvidāṃlakṣaṇam|

deśanāyāṃ prayuktasya yasya yena ca deśanā|
dharmārthayordvayorvācā jñānenaiva ca deśanā||35||

dharmasyoddeśanirdeśātsarvathā prāpaṇād dvayoḥ|
parijñānā[hānā]cca codyānāṃ pratisaṃviccatuṣṭayam||36||

iti catuṣṭve kāraṇaṃ| deśanāyāṃ hi prayuktasya yasya ca deśanā yena ca| tatra jñānena prayojanaṃ| kasya punardeśanā| dharmasyārthasya| kena deśanā vacanena jñānena ca| tatra dharmārthayordeśanā| dharmasyoddeśanirdeśāt| vākyena deśanā tayoreva dvayoḥ sarvathā prāpaṇāt|

jñānena deśanā codyānāṃ pariharaṇāt| ato yacca yena ca deśyate tajjñānāt catasraḥ pratisaṃvido vyavasthāpitāḥ|

pratyātmaṃ samatāmetya yottaratra pravedanā|
sarvasaṃśayanāśāya pratisaṃvinnirucyate||37||

etena pratisaṃvidāṃ nirvacanaṃ karma ca darśitaṃ| pratyātmaṃ lokottareṇa jñānena sarvadharmasamatāṃ tathatāmavetya uttarakālaṃ tatpṛṣṭhalabdhena jñānena pravedanā paryāyādīnāṃ pratisaṃviditi nirvacanaṃ| sarvasaṃśayanāśāya pareṣāmiti karma|

saṃbhāravibhāge catvāraḥ ślokāḥ|
saṃbhāro bodhisattvānāṃ puṇyajñānamayo 'samaḥ|
saṃsāre'bhyudayāyaikaḥ anyo 'saṃkliṣṭasaṃsṛtau||38||

yaśca saṃbhāro yadarthaṃ ca tatsaṃdarśitam| dvividhaḥ saṃbhāraḥ| tatra puṇyasaṃbhāraḥ saṃsāre 'bhyudayāya saṃvartate| jñānasaṃbhāro 'saṃkliṣṭasaṃsaraṇāya|

dānaṃ śīlaṃ ca puṇyasya prajñā jñānasya saṃbhṛtiḥ|
trayaṃ cānyaddvyasyāpi pañcāpi jñānasaṃbhṛtiḥ||39||

etena pāramitābhistadubhayasaṃbhārasaṃgrahaṃ darśayati| kṣāntivīryadhyānabalena hyubhayaṃ kriyate| tasmāddvayasaṃbhārasrayaṃ bhavati| punaḥ prajñāyāṃ pariṇāmanātsarvāḥ pañca pāramitā jñānasaṃbhāro veditavyaḥ|

saṃtatyā bhāvanāmetya bhūyo bhūyaḥ śubhasya hi|
āhāro yaḥ sa saṃbhāro vī[dhī]re sarvārthasādhakaḥ||40||

etatsaṃbhāranirvacanaṃ karma ca| samiti saṃtatyā| bhā iti bhāvanāmāgamya| ra iti bhūyo bhūya āhāraḥ| sarvārthasādhaka iti karma| svaparārthayoḥ sādhanāt|

praveśāyānimittāya anābhogāya saṃbhṛtiḥ|
abhiṣekāya niṣṭhāyai dhīrāṇāmupacīyate||41||

ayaṃ saṃbhāraprabhedaḥ| tatrādhimukticaryābhūmau saṃbhāro bhūmipraveśāya| ṣaṭsu bhūmiṣvanimittāya saptamībhūmisaṃgṛhītāya| tasyāṃ nimitta-[ā] samudācārāt| saptamyāṃ bhūmāvanābhogāya tadanyabhūmidvayasaṃgṛhītāyā| tayoḥ saṃbhārā[ro']bhiṣekāya daśamībhūmisaṃgṛhītāya| tasyāṃ saṃbhāro niṣṭhāgamanāya buddhabhūmisaṃgṛhītāya|

smṛtyupasthānavibhāge trayaḥ ślokāḥ|
caturdaśabhirākāraiḥ smṛtyupasthānabhāvanā|
dhīmatāmasamatvātsā tadanyebhyo viśiṣyate||42||

katamaiścaturdaśabhiḥ|
niśrayātpratipakṣācca avatārāttathaiva ca|
ālambanamanaskāraprāptitaśca viśiṣyate||43||

ānukūlyānuvṛttibhyāṃ parijñotpattito 'parā|
mātrayā paramatvena bhāvanāsamudāgamāt||44||

ityebhiścaturdaśabhirākārairbodhisatvānāṃ smṛtyupasthānabhāvanā viśiṣyate| kathamāśrayato mahāyāne śrutacintābhāvanāmayīṃ prajñāmāśritya| kathaṃ pratipakṣataḥ caturviparyāsapratipakṣāṇāmapyaśuciduḥkhānityānātmasaṃjñānāṃ pratipakṣatvātkāyādidharma nairātmyapraveśataḥ| kathamavatārataḥ| caturbhiḥ smṛtyupasthānairyathākramaṃ duḥkhasamudayanirodhamārgasatyāvatārātsvayaṃ pareṣāṃ cāvatāraṇāt| yathoktaṃ madhyāntavibhāge| kathamālambanataḥ sarvasattvakāyādyālambanāt| kathaṃ manaskārataḥ kāyādyanupalambhāt| kathaṃ prāptitaḥ kāyādīnāṃ na visaṃyogāya nāvisaṃyogāya| kathamānukūlyataḥ pāramitānukūlyena tadvipakṣapratipakṣatvāt| kathamanuvṛttitaḥ laukikānāṃ śrāvakapratyekabuddhānāṃ cānuvṛttyā tadupasaṃhitasmṛtyupasthānabhāvanāttebhyastadupadeśārthaṃ| kathaṃ parijñātaḥ kāyasya māyopamatvaparijñayā tathaivābhūtarūpasaṃprakhyānāt| vedanāyāḥ svapnopamatvaparijñayā tathaiva mithyānubhavāt| cittasya prakṛtiprabhāsvaratvaparijñayā ākāśavat| dharmāṇāmāgantukatvaparijñayā ākāśāganturajodhūmābhranīhāropakleśavat| kathamutpattitaḥ saṃcityabhavopapattau cakravartyādibhūtasya viśiṣṭakāyavedanādisaṃpattau tadasaṃkleśataḥ| kathaṃ mātrātaḥ mṛdvā api smṛtyupasthānabhāvanāyāstadanyebhyo'dhimātratvāt| prakṛtitīkṣṇendriyatayā| kathaṃ paramatvena pariniṣpannānāmanābhogamiśropamiśrabhāvanāt| kathaṃ bhāvanātaḥ atyantaṃ tadbhāvanāt nirupadhiśeṣanirvāṇe 'pi tadakṣayāt| kathaṃ samudāgamataḥ| daśasu bhūmiṣu buddhatve ca samudāgamāt|

samyakprahāṇavibhāge pañca ślokāḥ|
samyakprahāṇaṃ dhīrāṇāmasamaṃ sarvadehibhiḥ|
smṛtyupasthānadoṣa[ā]ṇāṃ pratipakṣeṇa bhāvyate||45||

yāvatyaḥ smṛtyupasthānabhāvanā uktāḥ tadvipakṣāṇāṃ doṣāṇāṃ pratipakṣeṇa samyakprahāṇabhāvaneti samastaṃ samyakprahāṇalakṣaṇam| prabhedena punaḥ|

saṃsārasyopabhoge ca tyāge nivaraṇasya ca|
manaskārasya ca tyāge praveśe caiva bhūmiṣu||46||

animittavihāre ca labdhau vyākaraṇasya ca|
sattvānāṃ paripāke ca abhiṣeke ca dhīmatāṃ||47||

kṣetrasya ca viśuddhyarthaṃ niṣṭhāgamana eva ca|
bhāvyate bodhisattvānāṃ vipakṣapratipakṣataḥ||48||

ayaṃ samyakprahāṇabhāvanāprabhedaḥ| saṃsārasyāsaṃkliṣṭaparibhoge saṃpattiṣu| pañcanivāraṇatyāge| śrāvakapratyekabuddhamanaskāratyāge| bhūmipraveśe| animittavihāre saptamyāṃ bhūmau| vyākaraṇalābhe aṣṭamyāṃ| sattvānāṃ paripācane| navamyāṃ| abhiṣeke ca daśamyāṃ| kṣetraviśuddhyarthaṃ traye 'pi| niṣṭhāgamane ca buddhabhūmau| ye ca vipakṣāsteṣāṃ pratipakṣeṇa samyakprahāṇabhāvanā veditavyā| ayamasyāḥ prabhedaḥ|

chandaṃ niśritya yogasya bhāvanā sanimittikā|
sarvasamyakprahāṇeṣu pratipakṣo nirucyate||49||

etena chandaṃ janayati| vyāyacchate vīryamārabhate| cittaṃ pragṛṇhāti| samyak pradadhātīti| eṣāṃ padānāmarthanirdeśaḥ| chandaṃ hi niśritya śamathavipaśyanākhyaṃ yogaṃ bhāvayatīti vyāyacchate| sā ca bhāvanā śamathapragrahopekṣānimittaiḥ saha bhāvyate| tasmātsā sanimittikā| kathaṃ ca punarbhāvyate| yacchamathapragrahopakleśayorlayauddhatyayoḥ pratipakṣeṇa vīryamārabhate| kathamārabhate| cittaṃ pragṛṇhāti pradadhāti ca| [tatra pragṛṇhātītiprajñayā| pradadhātīti?] śamathe [na?] samaprāpte co[ptaśco]pekṣāyāṃ pradadhāti| eṣā yogabhāvanā yathoktaprabhedeṣu sarvasamyakprahāṇeṣu pratipakṣa ucyate|

upāyaścābhinirhāraḥ ṣaḍvidhaśca vidhīyate||52||

dhyānapāramitāniśrayaḥ prabhedaścaturvidhaśchandavīryacittamīmāṃsāsamādhibhedāt| upāyaścaturvidha eva| abhinirhāraḥ ṣaḍvidhaḥ| caturvidha upāyaḥ katamaḥ|

vyāvasāyika ekaśca dvitiyo 'nugrahātmakaḥ|
naibandhikastṛtīyaśca caturthaḥ prātipakṣikaḥ||53||

aṣṭānāṃ prahāṇasaṃskārāṇāṃ chando vyāyāmaḥ śraddhā vyāvasāyikaḥ upāyaḥ| śraddadhānasyārthino vyāyāmāt| praśrabdhiranugrāhakaḥ| smṛtiḥ saṃprajanyaṃ caupanibandhakaḥ| ekena cittasyālambanāvisārāt| dvitīyena visāraprajñānāt| cetanā copekṣā ca prātipakṣika upāyaḥ| layauddhatyopakleśayoḥ kleśānāṃ ca pratipakṣatvāt| ṣaḍvidho 'bhinirhāraḥ katamaḥ|

darśanasyāvavādasya sthitivikrīḍitasya ca|
praṇidhervaśitāyāśca dharmaprāpteśca nirhṛtiḥ||54||

tatra darśanaṃ cakṣuḥ pañcavidhaṃ māṃsacakṣuḥ dīvyaṃ cakṣuḥ āryaṃ prajñācakṣuḥ dharmacakṣuḥ buddhacakṣuśca| avavādaḥ ṣaḍabhijñā yathākramaṃ| tābhirupasaṃkramya bhāṣāṃ cittaṃ cāgatiṃ ca gatiṃ ca viditvā niḥsaraṇāyāvavadanāt| sthitivikriḍitaṃ yasmāt bodhisattvānāṃ bahuvidhaṃ nirmāṇādibhiḥ samādhivikrīḍitaṃ| praṇidhiryena praṇidhijñānena praṇidhānabalikā bodhisattvāḥ praṇidhānavaiśeṣikatayā vikrīḍanti| yeṣāṃ na sukaraṃ saṃkhyā kartuṃ kāyasya vā prabhāyā vā svarasya veti vistareṇa yathā daśabhūmike sūtre| vaśitā yathā tatraiva daśa vaśitā nirdiṣṭāḥ| dharmaprāptirbalavaiśāradyāveṇikabuddhadharmāṇāṃ prāptiḥ| ityeṣa darśanādīnāmabhinirhāraḥ ṣaḍvidhaḥ|

etena yasyāmavasthāyāṃ yasyāvabodhāt bodhyaṅgāni vyavasthāpyante tadupadiṣṭaṃ| bhūmipraviṣṭāvasthāyāṃ sarvadharmāṇāṃ sarvasattvānāṃ ca samatāvabodhādyathākramaṃ dharmanairātmyenātmaparasamatayā ca| ataḥ paraṃ cakrādisaptaratnasādharmyaṃ bodhyaṅgānāṃ darśayati|

smṛtiścarati sarvatra jñeyājitavinirjaye|
ajitajñeyavinirjayāya| yathā cakravartinaścakraratnamajitadeśavinirjayāya|
sarvakalpanimittānāṃ bhaṅgāya vicayo'sya ca||58||

yathā hastiratnaṃ pratyarthikabhaṅgāya|
āśu cāśeṣabodhāya vīryamasya pravartate|
kṣiprābhijñatotpādanāt| yathāśvaratnamāśu samudraparyantamahāpṛthivīgamanāya|
dharmālokavivṛddhyā ca prītyā āpūryate dhruvam||59||

ārabdhavīryasya bodhisattvasya dharmālokā vivardhante| tataḥ prītiḥ sarvaṃ kāryaṃ[yaṃ] sadā prīṇayati| yathā maṇiratnamālokaviśeṣeṇa cakravartinaṃ prīṇayati|

sarvāvaraṇanirmokṣāt praśrabdhyā sukhameti ca|
sarvadauṣṭhulyasamutpāda[ṭa]nāt| yathā strīratnena cakravartī sukhamanubhavati|
cintitārthasamṛddhiśca samādherūpajāyate||60||

yathā cakravartino gṛhapatiratnāt|
upekṣayā yathākāmaṃ sarvatra viharatyasau|
pa[pṛ]ṣṭhalabdhāvikalpena vikalpena[vihāreṇa]sadottamaḥ||61||

upekṣocyate nirvikalpaṃ jñānaṃ tayā bodhisattvaḥ sarvatra yathākāmaṃ viharati| tatpṛṣṭhalabdhena ca vihāreṇānyasyopagamāt| anyasyāpagamāt| nirvikalpena vihāreṇa tatra nirvyāpāratayā vāsakalpanāt| yathā cakravartinaḥ pariṇāyakaratnaṃ caturaṅgabalakāyamupanetavyaṃ copapraṇayati[gamayati]| apanetavyaṃ cāpanayati| tatra ca gatvā vāsaṃ kalpayati yatrākhinnaḥ caturaṅgo bālakāyaḥ paraiti|

evaṃguṇo bodhisattvaścakravartīva vartate|
saptaratnopamairnityaṃ bodhyaṅgaiḥ parivāritaḥ||62||

iti saptaratnopamatvaṃ bodhyaṅgānāṃ nigamayati|
niśrayāṅgaṃ svabhāvāṅgaṃ niryāṇāṅgaṃ tṛtīyakaṃ|
caturthamanuśaṃsāṅgamakleśāṅgaṃ trayātmakam||63||

etena yabdodhyaṅgaṃ yathāṅgaṃ tadabhidyotitaṃ| smṛtirniśrayāṅgaṃ sarveṣāṃ tanniśrayeṇa pravṛtteḥ| dharmapravicayaḥ svabhāvāṅgaṃ bodhestatsvabhāvatvāt| vīryaṃ niryāṇāṅgaṃ tenāprāpyaniṣṭhā yāmadhiṣṭhānāt [vicchedāt]| prītiranuśaṃsāṅgaṃ cittasukhatvāt| praśrabdhisamādhyupekṣā asaṃkleśāṅgaṃ| yena yanniśritya yo 'saṃkleśa iti trividhamasaṃkleśāṅgaṃ veditavyam|

karmatrayaviśuddhiśca pratipakṣaśca bhāvanā|
jñeyāvṛtteśca mārgasya vaiśeṣikaguṇasya ca||65||

bodhyaṅgakālādūrdhvaṃ yathābhūtāvabodhānuvṛttiḥ samyagdṛṣṭiḥ| tasyaivāvabodhasya vyavasthānaṃ paricchedaḥ samyaksaṃkalpaḥ| tadvyavasthāne ca sūtrādike bhagavatā kṛte sa eva praveśastena tadarthāvabodhāt| karmatrayaviśuddhiḥ samyagvākkarmāntājīvāḥ| vākkāyobhayakarmasaṃgrahāt| pratipakṣasya bhāvanā samyagvyāyāmādayo yathākramaṃ jñeyāvaraṇasya mārgāvaraṇasya ca vaiśeṣikaguṇāvaraṇasya ca samyagvyāyāmena dīrghaṃ hi kālam akhidyamāno jñeyāvaraṇasya pratipakṣaṃ bhāvayati| samyaksmṛtyā śamathapragrahopekṣānimitteṣu layoddhatyābhāvānmārgasaṃmukhībhāvāyāvaraṇasya pratipakṣaṃ bhāvayati| samyaksamādhinā vaiśeṣikaguṇābhinirhārāyāvaraṇasya pratipakṣaṃ bhāvayatyevamaṣṭau mārgāṅgāni vyavasthāpyante|

samyaksamādhiṃ niśritya citte cittasyāvasthānāt| dharmāṇāṃ ca pravicayādyathākramaṃ śamatho vipaśyanā ca veditavyā| na tu vinā samyaksamādhinetyetacchamathavipaśyanālakṣaṇabhū|

sarvatragā ca saikāṃśā naikāṃśopaniṣanmatā|
sā ca śamathavipaśyanā sarvatragā yaṃ yaṃ guṇamākāṅkṣati tatra tatra tadbhāvanāt| yathoktaṃ sūtre| ākāṅkṣedbhikṣuraho vatāhaṃ viviktaṃ kāmairiti vistareṇa yāvat tena bhikṣuṇā imāveva dvau dharmau bhāvayitavyau| yaduta śamathaśca vipaśyanā cetyevamādi| ekāṃśā śamathavipaśyanā yadā śamathaṃ bhāvayati| vipaśyanāṃ vā| ubhayāṃśā yadā yugapadubhayaṃ bhāvayati| upaniṣatsaṃmatā śamathavipaśyanā bodhisattvānāmadhimukticaryābhūmau|
prativedhe ca niryāṇe animitte hyasaṃskṛte||67||

pariśuddhau viśuddhau ca śamatho 'tha vipaśyanā|
sarvabhūmigatā dhīre sa yogaḥ sarvasādhakaḥ||68||

ityupaniṣanmatetyevamādinā śamathavipaśyanāyāḥ prabhedaḥ karma ca nirdiṣṭaṃ| yoga upāyo veditavyaḥ| tatra prativedhaḥ prathamabhūmipraveśaḥ| niryāṇaṃ yāvat ṣaṣṭhī bhūmiḥ| tābhiḥ sanimittaprayoganiryāṇāt| animittaṃ saptamī bhūmiḥ| asaṃskṛtamanyadbhūmitrayamanabhisaṃskāravāhitvāt| saṃskāro hi saṃskṛtaṃ tadatra nāstītyasaṃskṛtaṃ| tadeva ca bhūmitrayaṃ niśritya buddhakṣetraṃ ca pariśodhayitavyaṃ| buddhatvaṃ ca prāptavyaṃ| tadetadyathākramaṃ pariśuddhirviśuddhiśca|

yatkauśalyaṃ samāśritya sarvārthānsādhayanti te||70||

anenopāyakauśalyasya prabhedaḥ karma ca darśitaṃ| tatra buddhadharmaparipūraye nirvikalpaṃ jñānamupāyaḥ| sattvaparipācane catvāri saṃgrahavastūni| kṣiprābhisaṃbodhe sarvaṃ pāpaṃ pratideśayāmi yāvad bhavatu me jñānaṃ saṃbodhāyeti pratideśanā 'numodanādhyeṣaṇā pariṇāmanā| kriyāśuddhau samādhidhāraṇīmukhāni| taiḥ sarvārthakriyāsādhanāt| vartmānupacchede apratiṣṭhitanirvāṇe| asmin pañcavidha upāye sarvabhūmiṣu bodhisattvānāmasamaṃ tadanyaiḥ kauśalamityayaṃ prabhedaḥ| sarvasvaparārthasādhanaṃ karma|

dhāraṇīvibhāge trayaḥ ślokāḥ|
vipākena śrutābhyāsāt dhāraṇyapi samādhinā|
parīttā mahatī sā ca mahatī trividhā punaḥ||71||

apraviṣṭavipraviṣṭānāṃ dhīmatāṃ mṛdumadhyamā|
aśuddhabhūmikānāṃ hi mahatī śuddhabhūmikā||72||

dhāraṇī[ṇīṃ]tāṃ samāśritya bodhisatvā punaḥ punaḥ|
prakāśayanti saddharmaṃ nityaṃ saṃdhārayanti ca||73||

atrāpi prabhedaḥ karma ca dhāraṇyāḥ saṃdarśitaṃ| tatra trividhā dhāraṇī| pūrvakarmavipākena| śrutābhyāsena| dṛṣṭadharmabāhuśrutyena grahaṇadhāraṇasāmarthyaviśeṣaṇāt| samādhisaṃniśrayeṇa ca| sā punarvipākaśrutābhyāsābhyāṃ parīttā veditavyā| samādhinā mahatī| sāpi mahatī punastrividhā| abhūmipraviṣṭānāṃ mṛdvī bhūmipraviṣṭānām aśuddhabhūmikānāṃ madhyā saptasu bhūmiṣu| pariśuddhabhūmikā tvadhimātrā śeṣāsu bhūmiṣu ityayaṃ prabhedo dhāraṇyāḥ| saddharmasya prakāśanaṃ dhāraṇaṃ ca karma|

cetanā chandasahitā jñānena preritā ca tat|

āyatyāmarthasiddhyarthaṃ cittamātrātsamṛddhitaḥ||75||

citraṃ mahadviśuddhaṃ ca uttarottarabhūmiṣu|
ābodherbodhisattvānāṃ svaparārthaprasādhakaṃ||76||

atra praṇidhānaṃ svabhāvato nidānato bhūmitaḥ prabhedataḥ karmataśca paridīpitaṃ| cetanā chandasaṃprayuktā svabhāvaḥ| jñānaṃ nidānaṃ| sarvabhūmiṣviti bhūmiḥ| tacca praṇidhānaṃ hetubhūtaṃ cittādeva sadyaḥ phalatvāt| āyatyāṃ vā[cā]bhipretārthasiddhyarthaṃ cittātpunaḥ sadyaḥphalaṃ cittamātrāt yathābhipretārthasamṛddhitā[to]| veditavyā[vyaṃ]| yena praṇidhānena balikā bodhisattvā vikrīḍanti| yasya na sukarā saṃkhyā kartuṃ kāyasya veti vistaraḥ| citramadhimukticaryābhūmāvevaṃ caivaṃ ca syāmiti| mahadbhumipraviṣṭasya daśa mahāpraṇidhānāni| viśuddhamuttarottarāsu bhūmiṣu viśuddhiviśeṣādābodherityeṣa prabhedataḥ| svaparārthaprasādhanaṃ karma|

nairātmyaṃ dvividhaṃ jñeyo hyātmagrāhasya cāśrayaḥ|
tasya copaśamo nityaṃ samādhitrayagocaraḥ||77||

trayāṇāṃ samādhīnāṃ trividho gocaro jñeyaḥ| pudgaladharmanairātmyaṃ śūnyatāsamādheḥ| tadubhayātmagrāhasyāśrayaḥ pañcopādānaskandhā apraṇihitasamādheḥ| tasyāśrayasyātyantopaśama ānimittasamādhiḥ| sa eva|

samādhistrividho jñeyo grāhyagrāhakabhāvataḥ|
trividhaśca grāhyasya gocarasya grāhakā ye samādhayaḥ| te śūnyatādisamādhayaḥ iti grāhyagrāhakabhāvena trayaḥ samādhayo jñātavyāḥ| te punaryathākramaṃ|
nirvikalpo'pi vimukho ratiyuktaśca sarvadā||78||

śūnyatāsamādhirnirvikalpaḥ| pudgaladharmātmanoravikalpanāt| apraṇihito vimukhastasmādātmagrāhāśrayāt| ānimitto ratisaṃprayuktaḥ sarvakālaṃ tasmiṃstadāśrayopaśame|

parijñāyai prahāṇāya punaḥ sākṣātkriyāya ca|
śūnyatādisamādhīnāṃ tridhārthaḥ parikīrtitaḥ||79||

pudgaladharma naierātmyayoḥ parijñārthaṃ śūnyatā| tadātmagrāhāśrayasya prahāṇārthamapraṇihitaḥ| tadupaśamasya sākṣātkriyārthamānimittaḥ samādhiḥ|

dharmoddānavibhāge ślokau|
samādhyupaniṣattvena dharmoddānacatuṣṭayaṃ|
deśitaṃ bodhisattvebhyaḥ sattvānāṃ hitakāmyayā||80||

tatra sarvasaṃskārā anityāḥ sarvasaṃskārā duḥkhāḥ ityapraṇihitasya samādherūpaniṣadbhāvena deśitaṃ| sarvadharmā anātmāna iti śūnyatāyāḥ| śāntaṃ nirvāṇamiti ānimittasya samādheḥ| kaḥ punaranityārtho yāvacchāntārthaḥ ityāha|

asadartho 'vikalpārthaḥ parikalpārtha eva ca|
vikalpopaśamārthaśca dhīmatāṃ taccatuṣṭayam||81||

bodhisattvānāmasadartho 'nityārthaḥ| yannityaṃ nāsti tadanityaṃ teṣāṃ yatparikalpitalakṣaṇam| abhūtavikalpārtho duḥkhārtho yatparatantralakṣaṇaṃ| parikalpamātrārtho 'nātmārthaḥ| evaśabdenāvadhāraṇaṃ parikalpita ātmā nāsti parikalpamātraṃ tvastīti parikalpitalakṣaṇasyābhāvārtho 'nātmārtha ityuktaṃ bhavati| vikalpopaśamārthaḥ śāntārthaḥ pariniṣpannalakṣaṇaṃ nirvāṇaṃ| kṣaṇabhaṅgārtho 'pyanityārtho veditavyaḥ paratantralakṣaṇasya| atastatprasādhanārthaṃ kṣaṇikatvavibhāge daśa ślokāḥ|

ayogāddhetutotpattervirodhātsvayamasthiteḥ|
abhāvāllakṣaṇaikāntyādanuvṛtternirodhataḥ||82||

pariṇāmopalabdheśca taddhetutvaphalatvataḥ|
upāttatvādhipatvā[tyā]cca śuddhasattvānuvṛttitaḥ||83||

tatra kṣaṇikaṃ sarvaṃ saṃskṛtamiti paścādvacanadiyaṃ pratijñā veditavyā| tatpunaḥ kathaṃ sidhyati| kṣaṇikatvamantareṇa saṃskārāṇāṃ pravṛtterayogāt| prabandhena hi vṛttiḥ pravṛttiḥ| sā cāntareṇa pratikṣaṇamutpādanirodhau na yujyate| atha kālāntaraṃ sthitvā pūrvottaranirodhotpādataḥ prabandheneṣyate vṛttiḥ| tadanantaraṃ pravṛttirna syāt prabandhābhāvāt| naiva cotpannasya vinā prabandhena kālāntaraṃ bhāvo yujyate| kiṃ kāraṇaṃ hetuta utpattiḥ| hetuto hi sarvaṃ saṃskṛtamutpadyate bhavatītyarthaḥ| tadyadi bhūtvā punaruttarakālaṃ bhavati tasyāvaśyaṃ hetunā bhavitavyaṃ| vinā hetunā ādita ivā[evā]bhāvāt| na ca tattenaiva hetunā bhavitumarhati tasyopayu[bhu]ktahetukatvāt| na cānyo heturupalambhate| tasmātpratikṣaṇamavaśyaṃ pūrvahetukamanyadbhavatīti veditavyaṃ| evaṃ vinā prabandhenotpannasya kālāntaraṃ bhāvo na yujyate|

sarvadharmā anātmānaḥ paramārthena śūnyatā|

saṃkleśavyavadāne ca avasthācchedabhinnake|
vṛttisaṃtānabhedo hi pudgalenopadarśitaḥ||102||

ātmadṛṣṭiranutpādyā abhyāso 'nādikālikaḥ|

atha dṛṣṭāntamātrāt pudgalasyāvaktavyatvamiccheyuḥ| yathāgnirindhanānnānyo nānanyo vaktavya iti| ta idaṃ syurvacanīyāḥ|

lakṣaṇāllokadṛṣṭācca śāstrato 'pi na yujyate|
indhanāgnyoravācyatvamupalabdherdvayena hi|

ekatvenānyatvena ca agnirhi nāma tejodhāturindhanaṃ śeṣāṇi bhūtāni| teṣāṃ ca bhinnaṃ lakṣaṇamityanya evāgnirindhanāt| loke ca vināpyagninā dṛṣṭamindhanaṃ kāṣṭhādi vināpi cendhanenāgniriti siddhamanyatvaṃ| śāstre ca bhagavatā na kvacidagnīndhanayoravācyatvamuktamityayuktametat| vina punarindhanenāgnirastīti kathamidaṃ vijñāyate| upalabdhestathā hi vāyunā vikṣiptaṃ dūramapi jvalatparaiti| athāpi syādvānustatrendhanamiti ata evāgnīndhanayoranyatvamiti siddhiḥ| kutaḥ| dvayena hi upalabdheriti prakṛtaṃ| dvayaṃ hi tatropalabhyate arcirvāyuścendhanatvena| astyeva pudgalo ya eṣa draṣṭā yāvadvijñātā kartā bhoktā jñātā moktā ca| na sa draṣṭā yujyate| nāpi yāvanmoktā| sa hi darśānādisaṃjñakānāṃ vijñānānāṃ pratyayabhāvena vā kartā bhavet svāmitvena vā| tatra tāvat|

dvayaṃ pratītya vijñānasaṃbhavātpratyayo na saḥ|
kiṃ kāraṇaṃ| nairarthakyāt| na hi tasya tatra kiṃcitsāmarthyaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ|
svāmitve sati vānityamaniṣṭaṃ na pravartayet||
sa hi vijñānapravṛttau svāmībhavannani[bhavanni]ṣṭaṃ vijñānamanityaṃ na pravartayet| aniṣṭaṃ ca| naiva tasmādubhayathāpyasaṃbhavāt| asau draṣṭā yāvanmoktā na yujyate| api khalu yadi dravyataḥ pudgalo 'sti|

tatkarmalakṣaṇaṃ sādhyaṃ
yadi dravyato 'stitasya karmāpyupalabhyate| yathā cakṣurādīnāṃ darśanādilakṣaṇaṃ ca rūpaprasādādi| na caivaṃ pudgalasya| tasmānna so 'sti dravyataḥ| tasmiṃśca dravyata iṣyamāṇe buddhasya bhagavataḥ|

saṃbodho bādhyate tridhā|
gambhīrābhisaṃbodhaḥ| asādhāraṇābhisaṃbodhaḥ| lokottarābhisaṃbodhaśca| na hi pudgalābhisaṃbodhe kiṃcidgambhīramabhisaṃbuddhaṃ bhavati| na tīrthyāsādhāraṇaṃ| na lokānucittaṃ| tathā hyeṣa grāhaḥ sarvalokagamyaḥ| tīrthyābhiniviṣṭaḥ| dirghasaṃsārocittaśca| api khalu pudgalo draṣṭā bhavan yāvadvijñātā darśanādiṣu saprayatno vā bhavenniṣprayatno vā| saprayatnasya vā punarasau prayatnaḥ svayaṃbhūrvā bhavedākasmikaḥ| tatpratyayo[vā?]

darśanādau ca tadyatnaḥ svayaṃbhūrna trayādapi|
tasmādeva ca doṣatrayādvakṣyamāṇāt

tadyatnapratyayatvaṃ ca
neti vartate| niṣprayatnasya vā punaḥ sataḥ siddhaṃ bhavati|

niryatnaṃ darśanādikam|
ityasati vyāpāre pudgalasya darśanādau kathamasau draṣṭā bhavati| yāvadvijñātā| doṣatrayādityuktaṃ katamasmāddoṣatrayāt|

akartṛtvādanityatvātsakṛnnityapravṛttitaḥ|
darśanādiṣu yatnasya svayaṃbhūtvaṃ na yujyate||

yadi darśanādiṣu prayatna ākasmiko yato darśanādīni| na tarhi teṣāṃ pudgalaḥ karteti kathamasau draṣṭā bhavati yāvadvijñātā sati vākasmikatve nirapekṣatvāt na kadācitprayatno na syādanityo na syāt| nitye ca prayatne darśanādīnāṃ yugapacca nityaṃ ca pravṛttiḥ syāditi doṣaḥ| tasmānna yujyate darśanādiṣu prayatnasya svayaṃbhūtvaṃ|

tathā sthitasya naṣṭasya prāgabhāvādanityataḥ|
tṛtīyapakṣābhāvācca pratyayatvaṃ na yujyate||

atha pudgalapratyayaḥ prayatnaḥ syāt| tasya tathā sthitasya pratyayatvaṃ na yujyate| prāgabhāvāt| sati hi tatpratyayatve na kadācitpudgalo nāstīti| kimarthaṃ prāk prayatno na syādyadā notpannaḥ| vinaṣṭasyāpi pratyayatvaṃ na yujyate pudgalasyānityatvaprasaṅgāt| tṛtīyaśca kaścitpakṣo nāsti yanna sthito na vinaṣṭaḥ syāditi| tatpratyayo 'pi prayatno na yujyate| evaṃ tāvadyuktimāśritya dravyataḥ pudgalo nopalabhyate|

sarve dharmā anātmānaḥ paramārthena śūnyatā|
ātmopalambhe doṣaśca deśito yata eva ca||

dharmoddāneṣu hi bhagavatā sarve dharmā anātmāna iti deśitaṃ paramārthaśūnyatāyāmasti karmāsti vipākaḥ kārakastu nopalabhyate ya imāṃśca skandhānnikṣipati anyāṃśca skandhānpratisaṃdadhāti| anyatra dharmasaṃketāditi deśitaṃ| pañcakeṣu pañcādīnavā ātmopalambha iti deśitā| ātmadṛṣṭirbhavati jīvadṛṣṭiḥ nirviśeṣo bhavati tīrthikaiḥ| unmārgapratipanno bhavati| śūnyatāyāmasya cittaṃ na praskandati na prasīdati na saṃtiṣṭhate nādhimucyate| āryadharmā asya na vyavadāyante| evamāgamato 'pi na yujyate| pudgalo 'pi hi bhagavatā tatra tatra deśitaḥ| parijñātāvī bhārahāraḥ śraddhānusāryādipudgalavyavasthānata ityasati dravyato 'stitve kasmāddeśitaḥ|

saṃkleśe vyavadāne ca avasthācchedabhinnake|
vṛttisaṃtānabhedo hi pudgalenopadarśitaḥ||
avasthābhinne hi saṃkleśavyavadāne chedabhinne ca| pudgalaprajñaptimantareṇa tadvṛttibhedaḥ saṃtānabhedaśca deśayituṃ na śakyaḥ| tatra parijñāsūtre parijñeyā dharmāḥ saṃkleśaḥ parijñā vyavadānaṃ| bhārahārasūtre| bhāro bhārādānaṃ ca saṃkleśaḥ| bhāranikṣepaṇaṃ vyavadānaṃ| tayorvṛttibhedaḥ saṃtānabhedaścāntareṇa parijñātāvibhārahārapudgalaprajñaptiṃ na śakyeta deśayituṃ| bodhipakṣāśca dharmā bahudhāvasthāḥ prayogadarśanabhāvanāniṣṭhāmārga viśeṣabhedataḥ| teṣāṃ vṛttibhedaḥ saṃtānabhedaścāntareṇa śraddhānusāryādipudgalaprajñaptiṃ na śakyeta deśayituṃ| yenāsati dravyato 'stitve pudgalo deśita ityayamatra nayo veditavyaḥ| itarathā hi pudgaladeśanā niṣprayojanā prāpnoti| na hi tāvadasāvātmadṛṣṭyutpādanārthaṃ yujyate yasmāt

ātmadṛṣṭiranūtpādyā
pūrvamevotpannatvāt| nāpi tadabhyāsārthaṃ yasmādātmadṛṣṭer
abhyāso 'nādikālikaḥ|
yadi cātmadarśanena mokṣa ityasau deśyeta| evaṃ sati syāt
ayatnamokṣaḥ sarveṣāṃ

tathā hi sarveṣāṃ na dṛṣṭasatyānāmātmadarśanaṃ vidyate| naiva vā mokṣo 'stīti prāpnoti| na hi pūrvamātmānamanātmato gṛhītvā satyābhisamayakāle kaścidātmato gṛhṇāti| yathā duḥkhaṃ duḥkhataḥ pūrvamagṛhītvā paścādgṛhṇātīti yathāpūrvaṃ tathā paścādapi mokṣo na syāt| sati cātmanyavaśyamahaṃkāramamakārābhyāmātmatṛṣṇayā cānyaiśca tannidānaiḥ kleśairbhavitavyamiti ato 'pi mokṣo na syāt| na vā pudgalo 'stīti abhyupagantavyaṃ| tasminhi sati niyatamete doṣāḥ prasajyante|

evamebhirguṇairnityaṃ bodhisattvāḥ samanvitāḥ|
ātmārthaṃ ca na riñcanti parārthaṃ sādhayanti ca||104||

hīdhṛtiprabhṛtīnāṃ guṇānāṃ samāsena karma nirdiṣṭam|
