iha khalu sakalajaḍapadārtharāśau pratyākhyāte nirākṛte ca nirākāravijñānavāde pratihate cālīkākārayogini pāramārthikaprakāśamātre samyagunmūlite ca sākāravijñānālīkatvasamārope pratisantānaṃ ca svapnavadabādhitadehabhogapratiṣṭhādyākāraprakāśamātrātmake jagati vyavasthite yasya yadā yāvadākāracakrapratibhāsaṃ yadvijñānaṃ parisphurati tasya tadā tāvadākāracakraparikaritaṃ tadvijñānaṃ citrādvaitamiti sthitiḥ | tadevaṃ citramadvaitaṃ vijñānamiti padatrayamiha pratyupasthitam ||



atra ca vipratipattirnāma kiṃ citratāyāmadvaite vijñānatve sarvatraiveti vikalpāḥ ||



na tāvadasau citrasvarūpānusāriṇī bhavitumarhati, tanmātrasya sarvajñānubhavasiddhatvāt, anyathā śaśaviṣāṇādāviva jaḍamidamalīkaṃ vijñānaṃ veti vipratipattīnāmanavakāśaprasaṅgāt | nāpi vijñānatve vivādaḥ kartuṃmucitaḥ,



sahopalambhaniyamād



ityādinā pūrvameva nīlādīnāṃ sākāravijñānatvaprasādhanāt | ata eva sarvatrāpi vimatirasaṅgatā, sākāravijñānasiddhāveva citrādvaitavādāvatārāt | tasmāccitrateyamadvaitavirodhinīti vyāmohādekatva eva vipratiprattiriti tatra prasādhanaṃ sādhanamidamucyate ||



yat prakāśate tadekam | yathā citrākāracakramadhyavartī nīlākāraḥ | prakāśate cedaṃ gauragāndhāramadhurasurabhisukumārasātetarādivicitrākārakadambakamiti svabhāvahetuḥ |



na tāvadasyāsiddhirabhidhātuṃ śakyate, pratyakṣapramāṇaprasiddhasadbhāve vijñānātmakanīlādyākāracakre dharmiṇi prakāśamānatāyāḥ pratyakṣasiddhatvāt | na cāsya hetorviruddhatā saṃbhavati, vicitrākāramadhyavartini nīlākāre dṛṣṭāntadharmiṇi prakāśamānatālakṣaṇasya sādhanasya dṛṣṭatvāt | nanu caikatve sādhye yadaparamekatvādhikaraṇaṃ tadiha dṛṣṭāntīkartumucitam | na cāsya nīlākārasya ekatā vidyate, viruddhadharmādhyāsaprasiddhasyānekatvasya saṃbhavāt | deśakālākārabhedo hi viruddhadharmādhyāsaḥ | tataśca yathā citritākāracakrasyākārabhedato bhedastathā nīlākārasyāpi deśabhedato bhedaḥ | tadayaṃ sādhyaśūnyo dṛṣṭānto hetuśca vipakṣe paridṛśyamāno yadi tatraiva niyatastadā viruddhaḥ ||



tatrāpi saṃbhave'naikānta iti cet | atrocyate | yadi deśabhedato vijñānātmakasthūlanīlākārasya bhedastadāsya pratiparamāṇudeśabhede bhedasaṃbhavātu paramāṇupracayamātrātmako vijñānātmakasthūlanīlākāraḥ syāt | tathā ca sati sarveṣāṃ vijñāna(a)tmakanīlaparamāṇūnāṃ svasvarūpanimagnatvena saṃtamasanimagnānekapuruṣavat vyativedanābhāvāt sthūlanīlākhaṇḍalakapratibhāsābhāvaprasaṅgaḥ saṅgataḥ syāt, grāhyagrāhakalakṣaṇayoḥ purastādapakartavyatvāt | na caivaṃ vaktavyam paramāṇūnāṃ svarūpanimagnatve'pyekopādānatayā puñjātmaiva sthūlaḥ sthūlamātmānaṃ jñāsyatīti, satyapyekopādānatve svasvarūpanimagnatvādeva sthūlavyavasthāpakasya bhinnasyātmano'nyonyaṃ vā grāhyagrāhakabhāvasyāyogāt | tādātmyena vyativedanasya cānabhyupagamāt |

ityasyānupadatvāt | na ca yathā bāhyārthavāde sthūlaikākārajñānapratibhāsa eva bāhyaparamāṇupracayapratibhāsavyavasthā gatyantarābhāvāt, tathā jñānaparamāṇupracayavyavasthā(paka) sthūlaikākārayogivijñānāntarasthānabhyupagamāt | abhyupagame vā tasyaiva dṛṣṭāntatvāt | tasmād yāvad yāvat pratibhāsastāvattāvat sthūlatayaiva vyāptaḥ | asthūle paramāṇau sthūlanivṛttimātre ca pratibhāsasya dṛśyānupalambhabādhitatvāt | yathā prasiddhānumāne sattvaṃ kṣaṇikatvena vyāptaṃ kramākramakāritvenāpi, kṣaṇikatvābhāvācca karmākramanivṛttau nivartamānaṃ kṣaṇikatve niyataṃ sidhyati, tathātrāpi prakāśamānatvaṃ sādhanamekatvenāpi sthaulyenāpi, ekatvābhāvācca vipakṣāt paramāṇupuñjātmana ekatvanivṛttimātrātmanaśca svaviruddhopalambhāt sthaulyasya vyāpakasya nivṛttau nivartamānamekatvaṃ niyataṃ sidhyati | tataśca yathā bahirvyāptipakṣe ghaṭe dṛṣṭāntadharmiṇi viparyayabādhakapramāṇabalāt sattvaṃ kṣaṇikatvaniyatamavadhārya sattvāt pakṣe kṣaṇabhaṅgasiddhiḥ, ta(thā) trāpi nīlākāre dṛṣṭāntadharmiṇi viparyayabādhakapramāṇabalādeva prakāśamānatvamekatvaniyatamavagamya prakāśamānatvād vicitrākāracakre sādhyadharmiṇyekatvasiddhiriti na dṛṣṭāntasya sādhyaśūnyatvam | nāpi hetorviruddhatā | na cānaikāntikatā ||



nanvekatve sādhye tatpracyutirdvitvaṃ ca vipakṣaḥ, tasmācca vipakṣāddhetuvyatirekapratipattyavasare kiṃ vipakṣātmā prakāśate na vā | pratibhāsapakṣe prakāśamānatvasya hetoḥ sādhāraṇānaikāntikatā, vipakṣe'pi dṛṣṭatvāt | atha na prakāśate tadā sandigdhavyatirekitvam, kuto vyatireka ityavadherevāprakāśamānaśarīratvāt kathamataḥ sādhyasiddhipratyāśā |



atrocyate | iha dvividho vijñānānāṃ viṣayaḥ grāhyo'dhyavaseyaśca | pratibhāsamāno grāhyaḥ | agṛhīto'pi pravṛttiviṣayo'dhyavaseyaḥ | tatrāsarvajñe'numātarisakalavipakṣapratibhāsābhāvānna grāhyatayā vipakṣo viṣayo vaktavyaḥ, sarvānumānocchedaprasaṅgāt, sarvatra sakalavipakṣapratibhāsābhāvāt tato vyatirekāsiddheḥ | pratibhāse ca deśakālasvabhāvāntaritasakalavipakṣa sākṣātkāre sādhyātmāpi varākaḥ sutarāṃ pratīyata ityanumānavaiyarthyam | tasmādapratibhāse'pyadhyavasāyasiddhādeva vipakṣād dhūmādervyatireko niścitaḥ | tat kimarthamatra vipakṣapratibhāsaḥ prārthyate | yadi punarasyādhyavasāyo'pi na syāttadā vyatireko na niścīyata iti yuktam, pratiniyataviṣayavyavahārābhāvāt ||



nanvasmanmate vastvavastvātmakasakalavipakṣapratipattisaṃbhavāt tato hetuvyatirekaḥ saṃpratyetuṃ śakyata eva | na ca pratibhāsamātreṇa sattvaprasaṅgaḥ, arthakriyākāritvalakṣaṇatvāt sattvasya | tvanmate tu prakāśa eva vastutvam | ato vipakṣayorekatvapracyutirdvitvayoḥ pratibhāse prakāśamānatvasādhanasya vipakṣasādhāraṇatā | apratibhāse casandigdhavyatirekitvamiti codyaṃ duruddharameveti cet | tadetadasaṅgatam | tathā hi dhūmādiravahnyādervipakṣād vyāvṛtto vahnyādiniyataḥ sidhyati, tasya ca vastvavastvātmakasakalavipakṣapadārtharāśeḥ svarūpanirbhāsa iti kiṃ nirvikalpakajñāne kalpanāyāṃ vā | nirvikalpe cet | pratibhāsa iti ca ko'rthaḥ | kiṃ nirākāre jñāne sakalavipakṣādisvarūpasya sākṣāt sphuraṇam, yadi vā tadarpitabuddhisvabhāvabhūtasadṛśākāraprakāśaḥ, atha samanantarapratyayabalāyātabuddhigatabāhyasadṛśākārapratibhāsaḥ, āhosvid buddherātmabhūtavipakṣasadṛśālīkākāraparisphūrtiḥ |



na tāvadādyaḥ pakṣo yuktaḥ, deśakālasvabhāvaviprakṛṣṭānāṃ padārthānāmarvācīne jane nirākāre ca jñāne sphuraṇāyogādityasyārthasya śāstre eva vistareṇa prasādhanāt | sphuraṇe cāsādhyasyāpi prakāśanaprasaṅge'numānavaiyarthyasya pratipādanāt |



nāpi dvitīyaḥ pakṣaḥ, deśādiviprakṛṣṭatvādeva sākṣātsvākārasamarpaṇasāmarthyābhāvāt |



na ca tṛtīyaḥ saṅgataḥ, sādṛśyasaṃbhave'pi samanantarabalādevāyātasya bāhyena saha pratyāsatterabhāvāt |



na caturtho'pi prakāra saṃbhavati, asatprakāśayorvirodhāt, sphurato'lokatvāyogāt | tathā hyasatprakāśa iti kimasadīśvarādeḥ khyātiḥ, bhāsamāno vā ākāro'san, san vā na kaścit khyātīti vivakṣitam | tatra yasya padārthasya svarūpaparinirbhāsaḥ sa kathamasanniti prāṇadhāribhirabhidhātavyaḥ | sphurataḥ keśoṇḍukākārasya bāhyarūpatayā bādhyatve'pi jñānarūpatayārthatvasya ācāryeṇa pratipāditatvāt grāhakābhimatanirākāraprakāśasyāpyasattvābhidhānaprasaṅgāt ||



pratibhāse'pi bādhanādasatyatvamiti cet | kiṃ tad bādhakam, pratyakṣamanumānaṃ vā | yadyekatra svarūpasākṣātkāriṇi pratyakṣe'viśvāsaḥ kathamanyatra bādhake svarūpāntaraprakāśa eva nirvṛttistatpūrvakamanumānaṃ ca sutarāmaviśvāsabhājanamiti na bādhakavārtāpi | yadāhurguravaḥ



yasya svarūpanirbhāsastadevāsatkathaṃ bhavet |

bādhāto yadi sāpyekā pratyakṣānumayornanu ||

pratyakṣe yadyaviśvāsaḥ ekatrānyatra kā gatiḥ |

tatpūrvamanumānaṃ ca kathamāśvāsagocaraḥ || iti |



nanu

dṛṣṭameva dvicandrādipratibhāse'pi bādhitam |

na dṛṣṭe'nupapannatvaṃ tajjñātamapi bādhyate ||



iti cet | na | bādhyasyāpratibhāsanāt | pratibhāsinaścābādhyatvāt | tathā hi

buddhyākārasya nirbhāso bādhā bāhyasya vastunaḥ |

sphūrtāvapyaviśvāse kva viśvāsa iti kīrtitam ||



etena bhāsamāno vā ākāro'sanniti dvitīyo'pi pakṣaḥ pratikṣiptaḥ, pratibhāsādeva sattāsiddherbādhakābakāśābhāvāt |



tathā san vā kaścinna khyātīti tṛtīyasaṅkalpo'pi vyākulaḥ, prakāśavyāptatvāt sattāyāḥ | aprakāśasyāsattayā grastatvāt ||



nanu prakāśo nāmaḥ vastunaḥ sattāsādhakaṃ pramāṇam | na ca pramāṇanivṛttāvarthābhāvaḥ | arthakriyāśaktistu sattvam | taccāprakāśasyāpi na virudhyata iti cet | satyametat | bahirarthabāde'prakāśasyāpi sāmarthyābhyupagamāt | keśoṇḍukādipratibhāse'dhyavasitasyārthakriyāśaktiviyogādevābhāvasiddheḥ | sarvathā bahirabhāve tu jñānasya prakāśāvyabhicārāttāvataiva sattve kimarthakriyayā |



kathamanyahṛdaḥ sattvaṃ prakāśādeva nāsya cet |

nārthakriyāpi sarvasmai kvacicced bhāsanaṃ na kim ||



iti | nirvikalpe tāvat svasaṃvedanasiddhasvākāramantareṇa vipakṣādayo na parisphuranti | athāmī vikalpe pratibhāsanta iti dvitīyaḥ saṅkalpo'bhyupagamyate, asminnapi pakṣe pratibhāsamāna ākāro'sādhāraṇo'śabdasaṃsṛṣṭatayā svasaṃvedanatādātmye praviṣṭatvādvastusanneva |

adhyavaseyatayā vipakṣādayo gṛhyanta iti cet | tadāpi teṣāṃ svarūpasya nirbhāso'sti na vā | nirbhāse pratyakṣasiddhataiva, nāsatkhyātiḥ | śāstre'pi



'svarūpasākṣātkāritvameva pratyakṣatvam'



uktam | tasya cetarapratyakṣeṣviva vikalpe'pi svīkāre viruddhavyāptopalambhena vikalpabhrāntatvayordūramapāstatvādvikalpe'pi tvanmate pratyakṣatvamakṣatam | tat kathaṃ tatsiddhasya pratyakṣāntarānumānābhyāṃ bādhābhidhānam, tayorapi svarūpāntaraprakāśapauruṣatvāt ||



atha vikalpabhrāntatvayorvyāpakaviruddhayoḥ saṃbhavāt vikalpe pratyakṣatvamevāsaṃbhavi | nanvasya pratyakṣatvamasaṃbhavīti svarūpasākṣātkāritvamasaṃbhavītyuktam | atha vipakṣādirartho'smin prakāśata iti vācā svarūpasākṣātkāritvaṃ kathitamiti mātā me bandhyeti vṛttāntaḥ | iṣyate ca tvayā vipakṣādisvarūpasākṣātkāritvaṃ bikalpasyeti pratyakṣatānatikramaḥ, apratyakṣatve vastusvarūpasphuraṇāyogāt | tataśca tatpratibhāsino'pi rūpasya sata eva khyātirnāsatkhyātiḥ | na ca tadeva vikalpe parisphuradrūpamasatāmīśvarādīnāṃ svarūpam, asattvasyaivābhāvaprasaṅgāt | svarūpasphuraṇe'pyasattve'nyatrāpi prakāśinyanāśvāsāt |

nityādayaḥ santa eva syuḥ

iti tadātmana eva patitam | yadāhurguravaḥ

svarūpasākṣātkaraṇādadhyakṣatvaṃ na cāparam |

vikalpabhramabhūmitvamata eva hi bādhitam ||

yadi nādhyakṣatā tasya rūpanirbhāsa eva na |

tatastadasadīśādi pratibhātītyasaṅgatam ||

yadi tu pratibhāseta rūpamasya sadeva tat |

tadasatpratibhātīti tacca bhātyasadeva vaḥ ||



athādhyavasāye'dhyavaseyasvarūpasya pratibhāso nāstītyucyate | na tadā kasyacidadhyavasāyaḥ | kathamataḥ pratiniyatavastuvyavasthāsiddhiḥ | kiṃ ca ko'yamadhyavasāyonāma | kiṃ vyāvṛttibhedaparikalpitasya prakāśāṃśasya, svākārāṃśasya, alīkākārasya, bāhyavastuno'vastuno vā sphuraṇamadhyavasāyārthaḥ | yadi vā svākāre bāhyāropaḥ, bāhye vā svākārāropaḥ, svākārabāhyayoryojanā, tayorekīkaraṇamekapratipattirabhedena pratipattiḥ bhedāgraho'dhyavasāyārtha iti vikalpāḥ |



tatra na tāvadādimau pakṣau kalpanāmarhataḥ | svarūpe sarvasyaiva sphuraṇasya nirvikalpatvādavasāyānupapattiḥ | itarathā nirvikalpakajñānābhāvaprasaṅgāt |



alīkasphuraṇaṃ tu prāk pratyākhyātam | satyapi sphuraṇe'sphuṭatvānnirvikalpakametat | dvicandrādijñānavat | astu svagrāhye tannirvikalpakam, bāhye tu adhyavaseye adhyavasāya iti cet | na tatsaṃbandhābhāvāta, tadapratibhāsācca | anyathātiprasaṅgādityuktaprāyam | bāhyavastusvarūpasphuraṇe tu pratyakṣapratipattirevāsāviti ko'dhyavasāyaḥ | avastusphuraṇaṃ punastridhā vikalpya prāgeva pratyākhyātam |



svākāre tu bāhyāropo na saṃbhavatyeva | tathā hi jñānaṃ kenacidākāreṇa satyenālīkena vopajātaṃ nāma | bāhyāropastu tadākāre tatkṛto'nyakṛto vā syāt | tatkṛtatve na tāvat tatkāla eva vyāpārāntaramanubhūyata iti kutastadāropaḥ | kālāntare ca svayamevāsat kasya vyāpāraḥ syāt |



dvitīyapakṣe jñānāntaramapi nākārāroparāgasaṅginīmutpattimantareṇa vyāpārāntareṇa kvacit kiñcitkaraṃ nāma | tadetadarvācīnajñānasadṛśākāragocarīkaraṇe'pi na bāhyāropavyāpāramaparaṃ spṛśati tadākāraleśānukāramapahāya | na ca śabdāmukhīkaraṇamatirikto vyāpāraḥ, śabdākārasyāpi svarūpa evāntarbhāvāditi nākārādanyo jñānavyāpāraḥ | āropyamāṇaścāsāvartho bāhyaḥ | tatra buddhau yadi svarūpeṇa sphurati satyapratītirevāsau, ka āropaḥ | atha na parisphurati tathāpi ka āropaḥ | sphuraṇe vā adhikaraṇabhūtasvākārātiriktasyāropyamāṇākārasyāpi pratibhāsaprasaṅgaḥ |



tadākārasphuraṇameva tasya sphuraṇamiti cet | na | tasyāropaviṣayatvāt | na hi marīcisphuraṇameva jalasphuraṇamiti na svākāre bāhyāropaḥ | ata eva bāhye svākārāropo nāsti, āropaviṣayasya bāhyasyāsphuraṇāt | tata eva svākārabāhyayoryojanāpyasaṃbhavinī, yogyayorapratibhāsāt | na caikīkaraṇamadhyavasāyaḥ | ko'yamekīkaraṇārthaḥ | yadyekatāpattau prayojakatvaṃ tadāropyāropaviṣayayoḥ kadācidekībhāvābhāvādasaṃbhava eva | na hi śaśaviṣāṇe kāraṇaṃ kiñcit | na ca pūrvamanekamekatāmetīti kṣaṇikavādinaḥ sāṃpratam | arthāntarotpattimātraṃ tu syāt | na ca tadupalabdhigocaro'nyatrāropaviṣayāt svākārāt | na ca tāvatāpyarthasya kiñciditi kathamekīkaraṇam |



athaikapratītiradhyavasāyaḥ | tathāpi na dvayorekapratipattiradhyavaseyānubhavābhāvāt | na ca dvayoḥ pratītirityevādhyavasāyaḥ nīlapītavat |



na cābhedena pratītiradhyavasāyaḥ | yataḥ paryudāsapakṣe aikyapratītiruktā bhavati | sā ca pratyuktā, adhyavaseyapratipattyabhāvāt | bhedena pratītiniṣedhamātre'pi na bāhyasya pratītirukteti kutastadadhyavasāyaḥ | yadi hi bāhyaṃ prakāśeta ekatvenānekatvena vā satā asatā vā pratītiriti yuktam |



sarvākāratatsvarūpatiraskāreṇa sā pratītirityekapratītiriti cet | tatsvarūpatiraskāre tarhi tadapratibhāsanameva | kasyacidaṃśasya pratibhāsanāditi cet | na | niraṃśatvādvastunaḥ sarvātmanā pratibhāso'pratibhāso veti śāstramevātra vistareṇa parīkṣyate |



na ca bhedāgraho'dhyavasāyo vaktavyaḥ | tathā hi kiṃ bāhye gṛhyamāṇe'gṛhyamāṇe vā | na ca prathamaḥ pakṣaḥ, bāhyagrahaṇasya pratikṣiptatvāt | grahaṇe vā'dhyavasāyasya pratyakṣatāprasaṅgāt | agṛhyamāṇe tu bāhye pravṛttiniyamo na syāt, anyeṣāmapi tadānīmagrahaṇādanyatrāpi pravṛttiprasaṅgāt |



trilocano'pītthamadhyavasāyaṃ dūṣayati | ko'yamadhyavasāyaḥ | kiṃ grahaṇam, ahosvit karaṇam, uta yojanā, atha samāropaḥ | tatra svābhāsamanarthamartha kathaṃ gṛhṇīyāt, kuryād vā vikalpaḥ | na hi nīlaṃ pītaṃ śakyaṃ grahītuṃ kartuṃ vā śilpakuśalenāpi | nāpyagṛhītena svalakṣaṇena svākāraṃ yojayitumarhati vikalpaḥ | na ca svalakṣaṇaṃ vikalpagrahaṇagocaraḥ | na ca svākāramanarthamarthamāropayati | na tāvadagṛhītasvākāraḥ śakya āropayitumiti tadgrahaṇameṣitavyam | tatra kiṃ gṛhītvā āropayati, atha yadaiva svākāraṃ gṛhṇāti tadaivāropayati | nādyaḥ | na hi kṣaṇikaṃ vikalpavijñānaṃ kramavantau grahaṇasamāropau kartumarhati | uttarasmiṃstu kalpe'vikalpasvasaṃvedanapratyakṣādvikalpākārādahaṅkārāspadādanahaṅkārāspadaḥ samāropyamāṇo vikalpena svagocaro na śakyo'bhinnaḥ pratipattum | nāpi bāhyasvalakṣaṇakatvena śakyaḥ pratipattum, vikalpākāre svalakṣaṇasya bāhyasyāpratibhāsanāditi |



bācaspatirapi adhyavasāyaṃ pratikṣipati | anarthaṃ svābhāsamarthamadhyavasyatīti nirvacanīyametat | nanvayamāropayatīti kiṃ vikalpasya svarūpānubhava evāropaḥ, uta vyāpārāntaraṃ svarūpānubhavāt | na tāvat pūrvaḥ kalpaḥ, anubhavasamāropayorvikalpāvikalparūpatayā dravakaṭhinavattādātmyānupapatteḥ | vyāpārāntaratve tu kramaḥ samānakālatā vā | na tāvat kramaḥ, kṣaṇikasya vijñānasya kramavadvyāpārāyogāt | akṣaṇikavādināmapi buddhikarmaṇorviramya vyāpārānupapatteḥ na kramavadvyāpārasaṃbhavaḥ | anubhavasamāropau samānakālāviti cet | bhavatu samānakālatvaṃ kevalam | ātmā svabhāvasthita eva vedyaḥ, parabhāvena vedane svarūpavedanānupapatteḥ | tathā cātmā jñānasya grāhyagrāhakākāro'nubhūto'rthaśca samāropitaḥ | na tvātmā vedyamānaḥ samāropito nārthaḥ samāropyamāṇaḥ pratyakṣavedyaḥ | sa ca samāropaḥ sato'sato vā grahaṇameva | na ca jñānātiriktasya grahaṇaṃ saṃbhavatītyupapāditam |



svapratibhāsasya bāhyādbhedāgraho bāhyasamāropastato bāhye vṛttiriti cet | sa kiṃ gṛhyamāṇe bāhye na vā | na tāvad gṛhyamāṇe | uktaṃ hyetanna tadgrahaṇaṃ saṃbhavatīti | agṛhyamāṇe tu bhedāgrahe na pravṛttiniyamaḥ syāt, anyeṣāmapi tadānīmagrahādanyatrāpi pravṛttiprasaṅgāditi | tasmād yathā yathāyamadhyavasāyaścintyate tathā tathā viśīryata eva | tathā vikalpāropābhimānagrahaniścayādayo'pyadhyavasāyavat svākāraparyavasitā eva sphuranto bāhyasya vārtāmātramapi na jānantītyadhyavasāyasvabhāvā eva śabdapravṛttimittabhede'pi tatkathaṃ yuktyāgamabahirbhūto'nātmasphuraṇamācakṣīta |



nanvevaṃ vikalpādīnāmasaṃbhave saṃbhave'pyanātmaprakāśakatvānabhyupagame sarvajanaprasiddhavidhipratiṣedhavyavahārocchedaprasaṅga iti lokavirodhaḥ | vikalpa ityadhyavasāyaityāropa ityabhimāna iti graha iti niścaya ityādikaṃ śāstre pratipadaṃ pratipāditam, tatsiddhaṃ ca bahirarthādikamabhyupagatamityācāryavirodhaḥ, nyāyavirodhaśca | tathā hi savareva prakārairaviparītasvarūpasaṃvedanād bhrānteratyantamabhāvaḥ syāt | tataśca sarvasattvāḥ sadaiva samyaksambuddhā bhaveyuḥ |



vikalpitā buddhirbhrāntiḥ, svapratibhāse'narthe'rthādhyavasāyāditi cet | kathamavasīyamānastayā so'rtho na prakāśate | prakāśamāno vā kathamasau tasyāṃ na prakāśate | atha prakāśata eva, tadārthasya tādātmyaprasaṅgaḥ | asati cārthe sārasyāt abhūnmāndhātā, bhaviṣyati śaṅkho'styātmā, nityaḥ śabda iti sarvātmanā ca niścayaḥ syāt | gauriti spaṣṭena ca svena lakṣaṇena prakāśeta | svalakṣaṇe ca saṅketāyogāt vikalpikaiva sā buddhirna syāt | tasmādaśeṣagovyaktisādhāraṇena gotvena gobuddhiralīkena sābhilāpena viplavāt prakhyātīti tathā prakāśanamasyā gavārthāvasāya ityeṣṭavyam | evaṃ hyete doṣā na syuḥ, apratibhāsamānasyāpi svalakṣaṇasya bhrāntyāvasāyāditi ||



atrābhidhīyate | na tāvallokaśāstravirodhau, agṛhīte'pi bāhye pravṛttinivṛttyādisamarthanāt svaparavādiduratikramādhyavasāyasvarūpanirvacanāt | nyāyavirodhasya tu gandho'pi nāsti |



tathā hi kā punariyaṃ bhrāntirasatkhyātiratasmiṃstadgraho vā yadabhāvādidānīmeva muktirāsajyate |



na tāvadādyaḥ pakṣaḥ, asatkhyāteḥ pratyākhyānāt | yadāhurguravaḥ

yasya svarūpanirbhāso bādhakād yadi tanna sat |

bādhake'pi ka āśvāsaḥ svarūpāntarabhāsini ||

anyasvarūpopanayāt tatsvarūpanivāraṇam |

tatrāpi saṃśayo jātaḥ pūrvabādhopalabdhitaḥ ||

iyamevāgrahe bādhā nādyajasyāparā yadi |

asya pūrvaiva bhavatu rūpanirbhāsanaṃ samam ||

nānyā va bhāvinītyatra pramāṇaṃ kiñcidasti vaḥ |

api svarūpanirbhāse yadā bādhakasaṃbhavaḥ ||

anirbhāse svarūpasya hetuśodhanaviplave |

bādhaśaṅkāvinirbhāse'pyevaṃ ced viplavo mahān || iti ||



śāstre ca atasmiṃstadgrahāt svapratibhāse'narthe'rthādhyavasāyād dṛśyavikalpyayorekīkaraṇād bhrāntiruktā | tāmayaṃ samarthayitumasamarthaḥ svātantryeṇālīkasphuraṇaṃ bhrāntiriti kāvyaṃ viracayya vistārayati ||



nanvatasmiṃstadgraho'pi bhramaḥ svākāraparyavasitajñānādatirikto bahubhirbahudhā vicāryaṃ pratyākhyātaḥ | tat kathaṃ tasminnapi pakṣe na bhrāntikṣatiryenedānīmeva muktiprasaṅgo na syāditi cet | tadetad bhagavato bhāṣyakārasya matavidveṣaviṣavyākulavikrośitamatikātarayati kṛpāparavaśadhiyaḥ | tathā hi samanantarapratyayabalāyātasvapratibhāsaviśeṣavedanamātrādagṛhīte'pi paratra pravṛttyākṣepo'dhyavasāyaḥ | na cāsau pūrvoktavāgjālaiḥ pratihantuṃ śakyaḥ, sarvaprāṇabhṛtāṃ pratyātmaviditatvāt, kaiścidapyanudbhinnatvāt | ayameva ca saṃsārastatkṣayo mokṣa iti kvedānīmeva tadvārtā'pi | tathā hi vicitrānādivāsanāvaśāt prabodhakapratyayaviśeṣāpekṣayā vikalpaḥ kenacidākāreṇopajāyamāna eva bahirmukhapravṛttyanukūlamarthakriyāsmaraṇābhilāṣādiprabandhamādhatte | tataḥ puruṣārthakriyārthino bahirarthānurūpāṇi pravṛttinivṛttyavadhāraṇāni bhavanti | pṛthagjanasantānajñānakṣaṇānāṃ tādṛśo hetuphalabhāvasya niyatatvāt | aniścitārthasaṃbandhavikalpakāle'pi sadasattānirṇayādipravṛttiprasavaḥ | tatra yadubhayathā pravṛttisādhanasāmarthyamasya svahetubalāyātamayameva pravṛttiviṣayatvāropo'dhyavasāyāparanāmā | yathā candrādijñānasya bhrāntasyābhrāntasya vā taddarśanāvasāyajananameva grahaṇavyāpāraḥ |



svavidapīyamarthavideva kāryato draṣṭavyeti



nyāyāt | tathā vikalpasyāpyagniratretyādinākāreṇotpadyamānasya pravṛttyākṣepakatvameva bāhyāvasānaṃ nāma | yathā ca nirvikalpadvicandrādyākārataiva tathāvasāyasādhanī, evamavasāyasyāpi tādṛśākārataiva viṣayāntaravimukhapravṛttisādhanī ||



nanu tathā ca tacca tena pratipādyate na ca tajjñāne tat prakāśata iti śapathenāpi na saṃpratyaya iti cet | asaṃbaddhametat | na hyadhyavasāyād bāhyasya paṭādervastuno bādhakāvatārāt pūrvasandigdhavastubhāvasya kṣaṇikāderavastuno vā śaśaviṣāṇāderasphuraṇe'pi siddhipratibandho brahmaṇāpi pratividhātuṃ śakyaḥ | dvividho hi viṣayavyavahāraḥ, pratibhāsādadhyavasāyācca | tadiha pratibhāsābhāve'pi parāpoḍhasvalakṣaṇāderadhyavasāyamātreṇa viṣayatvamuktam, sarvathā nirviṣayatve pravṛttinivṛttyādisakalavyavahārocchedaprasaṅgāt | tataśca tena ca tat pratipādyate na ca jñāne tatprakāśa iti saṅgatirastyeva, prakāśyaprakāśakabhāvābhāve'pyadhyavasāyādhyavasāyakabhāvenāpi viṣayaviṣayibhāvopapatteḥ |



nanu yadi nādhyavaseyapratītistadā'gṛhīte'pi svalakṣaṇādau pravṛttiriti sarvatrāviśeṣeṇa prasajyeta, sarvatrāgṛhītatvena viśeṣābhāvāt, tataśca prāptirapi nābhimatasya niyamenetyanumānamapi viplutam | atra brūmaḥ | yadyadhyavaseyamagṛhītaṃ viśvamapyagṛhītam, tathāpi niyataviṣayaiva pravṛttirna sarvatra, tathābhūtasamanantarapratyayabalāyātaniyatākāratayā niyataśaktitvādvikalpasya | niyataśaktayo bhāvā hi pramāṇapariniṣṭhitasvabhāvāḥ, na śaktisāṅkaryaparyanuyogabhājaḥ, asadutpattivat sarvatrāsattve'pi hi bījādaṅkurasyaivotpattiḥ, tatraiva tasya śakteḥ pramāṇena nirūpaṇāt | tathehāpi hutavahākārasya vikalpasya dāhapākādyarthakriyārthinastatsmaraṇavato hutavahaviṣayāyāmeva pravṛttau sāmarthyaṃ pramāṇapratītaṃ kathamatiprasaṅgabhāgi | pratyāsatticintāyāṃ ca tāttvikasyāpi vahnerjvaladbhāsvarākāratvaṃ vikalpollikhitasyāpīti, tāvatā tatraiva pravartanaśaktirjvalanavikalpasya na jalādau ||



nanu ca sādṛśyāropeṇa kiṃ svākārasya bāhye svākāre vā bāhyasyāropaḥ | ubhayathāpyasaṅgati, āropyāropaviṣayayoḥ svākārabāhayayordvayorgrahaṇāsaṃbhavāditi cet | na vayamāropeṇa pravṛttiṃ brūmaḥ | kiṃ tarhi, svavāsanāparipākavaśādupajāyamānaiva sā buddhirapaśyantyapi bāhayaṃ bāhaye pravṛttimātanotīti viplutaiva saṃsārātmikā ca | yat śāstraṃ

iti | tasmānna rūpyādivadāropadvāreṇa pravṛttirapi tu tathāvidhākārotpattipratibaddhaśaktiniyamāt | na ca vicārakasya vastvadarśananiścayādapravṛttiḥ saṅgacchate | darśane'pi hi pravṛttirarthakriyārthitayā | arthakriyāprāptiśca vastusattāniyame | sa ca niyamo yathā darśanād vastupratibandhakṛtaḥ, tathā vikalpaviśeṣādapi pāramparyeṇa vastuprativastupratibandhakṛta ityadarśane'pi adhyavasāyāt pravṛttiryujyata iti nānumānamanavasthitam | etena tacca na pratīyate, tena cābhedābhāsanamityupālambho'saṃbhavītyupadarśitam, apratibhāse'pi pravṛttiviṣayīkaraṇamityabhedādiniṣṭhāyā darśitatvāt | tasmādavicāraramaṇīyo'tasmiṃstadgraha eva bhrāntirāropāparanāmā, tatkṣayaśca mokṣa iti yuktam |

marīcau jalavad yāvadanātmanyātmakalpanam |

bhrama eva hi saṃsāro nirvāṇaṃ tattvasaṃsthitiḥ ||

tataśca yāvanna vicārasaṃbhavo

bhavo'yamanyaḥ śama ityayaṃ nayaḥ |

vicāralīlālalite tu mānase

bhavaḥ śamo vā ka iheti kathyatām ||

tathā āryamaitreyanāthapādā api

na cāntaraṃ kiṃcana vidyate'nayoḥ

sadarthavṛttyā śamajanmanoriha |

tathāpi janmakṣayato vidhīyate

śamasya lābhaḥ śubhakarmakāriṇām ||

āryanāgārjunapādāśca

nirvāṇaṃ ca bhavaścaiva dvayameva na vidyate |

parijñānaṃ bhavasyaiva nirvāṇamiati kathyate ||



iti sarvaireva prakāśairaviparītasvarūpasaṃvedane'pi bhrāntivyavasthāsaṃbhavādasti saṃsāraḥ ||



yadapyuktaṃ vikalpasyāviṣayaśca bāhyam grahaṇaṃ cāsya śabdena saṃyojyeti vikalpatvamapi duryojam, ātmani ca śabdayojanā nāstīti vikalpo nāma nāstyeva, tatkasya vikalpacinteti | atrabhidhīyate | ihāgniratretyadhyavasāyo yathā kāyikīṃ vṛttiṃ prasūte tathāgnirmayā pratīyata iti vācikīmapi prasūte, etadākārānuvyavasāyarūpāṃ mānasīmapi prasavati | evaṃ ca sati yathā vikalpenāyamartho gṛhīta iti niścayaḥ, tathā śabdena saṃyojya gṛhīta ityapi, arthākāraleśavacchabdākārasyāpi sphuraṇāt | tasmādarthagrahābhimānavān mānavastāvadabhidhānasaṃyuktagrahaṇābhimānavānapītyavasāyānurodhādeva vikalpavyavasthā na tattvataḥ | yadāhurguravaḥ



na śabdaiḥ saṃsargaḥ kvacidapi bahirvā manasi vā-

kṣarākārākīrṇaḥ sphurati punararthākṛtilavaḥ |

ubhāvapyākārau yadapi dhiya evādhyavasiti-

rvidhatte tau bāhye vacasi ca vikalpasthitirataḥ ||

abhāne pratibhāne vā na cāropo'pi kasyacit |

pratītyotpādabhedena vyavasthāmātramīdṛśam ||

nirvikalpādvikalpasya bhāve leśānukāriṇaḥ |

saṅketakārivacanād buddhyākāre viśeṣiṇi ||

saṅketaḥ kṛta ityāsthā tādṛk śabdaśrutau punaḥ |

pravṛttyākṣepabuddhyātmabhāve vācyavyavasthitiḥ ||

tasmād vastu vā ghaṭapaṭādi sandigdhavastu vā sādhakabādhakātikrāntam, avastu vātmadikkālākṣaṇikādikamadhyavasitamiti, apratibhāse'pi pravṛttiviṣayīkṛtamityarthaḥ | ayameva cāropaikīkaraṇādhyavasāyābhedagrahādīnāmarthaḥ sarvatra śāstre boddhavyaḥ | tasmādadhyavasāyasyākāraviśeṣayogādagṛhīte'pi pravartanayogyatā nāma yo dharmastayā bāhyādhyavasāyayorgrāhyagrāhakabhāvaścet saṃvṛttyā duṣpariharaḥ, tadā viṣayiviṣayabhāvo'pi labdha ityadhyavasāyamātreṇa viṣayaviṣayitvamuktamiti yuktam | yadāha alaṅkārakāraḥ

kathaṃ tadviṣayatvaṃ tatra pravartanāditi |



etena yaduktam kathamavasīyamānastayātmārtho na prakāśyata ityādi, tannirastam, tadaprakāśe'pi tadadhyavasāyasya vyavasthāpitatvāt | asati cārthe sā na syādityapyayuktam, ātmāderadhyavaseyasya pratibhāsapratikṣepe buddhyā saha tādātmyābhāvāt | na ca sarvākāraniścayaprasaṅgadoṣaḥ saṅgataḥ | sarvākāraniścayo hi sarveṣvākāreṣu pravṛttikārakatvātmā niruktaḥ, na caikākārollekhino vikalpasyākārāntare pravartanaśaktiranubhavaviṣaya iti kutaḥ śabdapramāṇāntarānapekṣeti yuktam | tatra nirvikalpakaṃ spaṣṭapratibhāsatvād grāhakaṃ vyavasthāpyate | vikalpastu spaṣṭaikavyāvṛttyullekhādāropakādivyavahārabhājanam | yathā ca bāhye sati kvacid bhramavyavasthā tathāntarnaye'pi sarvatra | kevalaṃ bahirmukhapravṛtyapekṣayā kriyamāṇo nātmani kaścid bhrama ityuktaṃ bhavati | na ca gosvalakṣaṇaprakāśāvakāśaḥ, svākārasyaiva sphuraṇāt, svalakṣaṇe ca saṃketāyogāt | vikalpikaiva na syāditi tu svarūpāpekṣayā siddhasādhanam | bāhyāpekṣayā tvadhyavasāyavad vikalpikaiva sā buddhistathā | tasmādaśeṣagovyaktisādhāraṇena gotvena gobuddhiralīkena sābhilāpena viplavāt prakhyātīti tathā prakhyānamasyā gavāvasāya ityeṣṭavyamityapi neṣṭavyameva, caraṇamardanādinā pratyavasthāne'pi yuktiśāstrabahirbhūtatvādetadabhāve'pi kathitadoṣapradhvaṃsāt | na hi vikalpabuddhāvalīkākārasphuraṇameva bāhyasyādhyabasāya iti kācidarthasaṅgatiḥ, arthasyeti saṃbandhānupapatte | buddheratra kramābhāvāt pratyakṣataiva, kathamadhyavasāyaḥ | apratibhāsamānasyāpi svalakṣaṇasya bhrāntyāvasāyāditi tu na budhyāmahe | avasāyena hi tadvitisparśe pratibhāsaḥ ko'paraḥ | tadvittāvapyaspaṣṭatvādadhyavasāya ityapyayuktam, tadrūpavittāvaspaṣṭatvasyaivābhāvāt |

jāto nāmāśrayo'nyonyaścetasāṃ tasya vastunaḥ |

ekasyaiva kuto rūpaṃ bhinnākārāvabhāsi yat ||



iti ācāryaḥ smaryatām | na ca tadāsau bhrāntirbhavitumarhati, vastusvarūpasyaiva nirbhāsāt ||



alīkavṛtteriti cet | saivāstu | bāhyasyāsphurato'dhyavasāyaḥ katham | saiva sa iti cet | alīkamidamiti viduṣo bāhyādhyavasāyavyasthābhāvāt, bāhyāsphuraṇāt tadapratibaddhatvācca | pratibandhe'pi tasyepi syāt, na punastadadhyavasāyaḥ, tadasphuraṇasphuraṇayorapi tadayogādityalamatinirbandhena | tadevamapratibhāsino'pi vipakṣādadhyavasāyamātrasiddhādeva vyāvṛtto doṣatrayanirmuktaḥ prakāśamānatātmako heturyāvatprakāśāvadhijñānātmakacitrākāracakrasyaikatvaṃ sādhayatyeva ||

tasmāt sthūlatayā vyāpto nirbhāsastannivṛttitaḥ |

nivartamāno'nekasmādekatve viniyamyate ||

yathā sajātīyamatād bhāgādbhedanirākriyā |

anābhāsaprasaṅgena vijātīyamatāt tathā ||

tannāstu sādhyo dṛṣṭānto na ca śaṅkāviparyaye |

nanu cātra dṛṣṭāntadārṣṭāntikayorubhayamātrāpyekatvaṃ pratyakṣato'numānācca viruddhadharmādhyāsalakṣaṇāt pratihatam, tat kathamanumānādekatvasiddhiriti cet | ucyate | yadetat pratyakṣaṃ bhedasādhakamupanīyate, tat kiṃ nīlādīnāmanātmabhūtamātmabhūtaṃ vā | prathamapakṣe, āstāṃ tāvadeṣāmato bhedasiddhiḥ, sattāmātramapi na sidhyet | sa hi nīlādiko'rtho jaḍo vijñānāntarātmālīkasvabhāvo vā svīkartavyaḥ | triṣvapi pakṣeṣu prakāśyaprakāśakabhāvābhāvaḥ | tathā hi jñānasya prakāśakatvaṃ nāma kiṃ vidyamānatvaṃ vyāpārāveśo vā | prathamapakṣe sarvasarvadarśitvaprasaṅgaḥ, sarvapuruṣajñānavidyamānatāyāḥ sarvaṃ pratyaviśiṣṭatvāt | tathā nīlādibhirapi jñānasya grahaṇaprasaṅgaḥ, teṣāmapi vidyamānatvalakṣaṇagrāhakatvasaṃbhavāt ||



atha jñānatve sati vidyamānatvamiti saviśeṣaṇaṃ lakṣaṇamucyate | tat kiṃ nīlādīnāmajñānatve kośapānamāyuṣmatā kartavyam, yena sattāmātreṇa samasamayaṃ sphuratorvijñānanīlādyoḥ pratijñāmātrādekasya jaḍatvālīkatvabādhyatvāprakāśatvādi vyavasthāpyate |



atha dvitīyastadā sa kiṃ vyāpāraḥ pratyakṣasyātmā jñānāntaram, arthasyātmārthāntaraṃ vā syāt | prathamavikalpe svātmani kāritravirodhaḥ | dvitīyapakṣe jñānāntaraṃ yadyanyaviṣayam arthasya na kiñcit | tadviṣayatvaṃ cādyāpi na siddham, tatpratyāsattereva cintyamānatvāt ||



tṛtīye punaḥ saṅkalpe nīlādikaṃ kṛtameva syāt, na prakāśitam, tailavartyādibhiriva pradīpaḥ | prakāśastu svayameva | tathā ca jñānāntaratvāt santānāntaravadapratibhāsaprasaṅgaḥ |



caturthe tu vikalpe arthāntare kṛte nīlādikaṃ tadavasthameva | na cānātmaprakāśanasāmarthyaṃ jñānasya svīkartumucitam, vyāpāravat prakāśanasyāpyevaṃ nirākartavyatvāt | na cāgnidhūmayoḥ kāryakāraṇabhāva iva jñānajñeyayorapi svābhāviko grāhyagrāhakabhāvo vaktavyaḥ, pramāṇasiddhakāryakāraṇabhāvavad grāhyagrāhakasvarūpayoradyāpi nirvaktumaśakyatvāditi kva nīlādivārtāpi yadbhedasiddhipratyāśā pratyakṣataḥ sampadyate ||



athātmabhūtaṃ tat pratyakṣamiti dvitīyaḥ pakṣaḥ, tadātmasvasaṃvedanameva bhedasādhakamabhyupagataṃ bhavet | tacca yadi pratyākāraṃ bhinnaṃ tadā sarveṣāṃ svasvarūpanimagnatvāccitraprakāśapraṇāśaprasaṅga ityuktam |



athaitaddoṣabhayāt sarveṣāmākārāṇāmekatvameva svabhāvabhūtaṃ svasaṃvedanamiṣyate, tadaitadeva citrādvaitaṃ vijñānamucyate, yadanekābhimatānāṃ sahopalabdhānāṃ nīlasukhādyākārāṇāṃ svabhāvabhūtākhaṇḍasvasaṃvedanapratyakṣaṃ nāma | yadāhurguravaḥ

bhramābhramākalpanakalpanāni,

śātāsitādīnyakhilākṣajāni |

jñānānyabhinnāni sahopalabdheḥ,

pūrvāparatvaṃ tu na vedyameva || iti |



tadevaṃ dṛṣṭāntadārṣṭāntikayorubhayatrāpi svasaṃvedanapratyakṣasiddhamekatvamavidyāvaśād vipratipattau satyāmanumānataḥ sādhyate | ata eva svasaṃvedanapratyakṣādanumānācca ekatvasiddhau na pratyakṣāntaram | nāpi viruddhadharmādhyāsalakṣaṇamanumānaṃ bhedasādhanāya prāptāvasaram, bhedagrāhakasya bhinnasya pratyakṣasyoktakrameṇāprāmāṇyāt, pakṣasya pratyakṣādibādhitatvāt |



nanu brūyānnāma kiñcit, tathāpi pratibhāsabhedād bheda eva, na hi dṛṣṭe'nupapannaṃ nāmeti cet | hanta 1 pratibhāsaśabdena kimabhipretam, kimākāracakraṃ sphuraṇaṃ vā | tatra yadi prathamaḥ pakṣaḥ, tadā bāhye'rthe pratyetavye buddhyākāraḥ pramāṇam | tathācākārabhedo vyavahartavya eva | anyathā bāhyabhedo na sidhyet | yadā punarākāracakrameva prameyam svasaṃvedanaṃ ca pramāṇaṃ tadā tenaiva nīlādīnāṃ svabhāvabhūtenākhaṇḍātmanā ekīkṛtānāṃ kathamapramādī bhedamācakṣīta |



dvitīyapakṣe tu sphuraṇaṃ svabhāvabhūtākhaṇḍasvasaṃvedanamevoktamiti | tathāpi kathaṃ bhedastasmād yathordhvamindriyapratyakṣataḥ kṣaṇabhede pratīte'pyavidyāvaśādekatvādhyavasāyaḥ tathā tiryaksvasaṃvedanapratyakṣeṇākārābhede'dhigate'pyavidyāvaśādeva bhedāvasāyaḥ ||



yadyevaṃ viruddhadharmādhyāsato vijñānākāracakravad vyāpto'pi na bhidyeteti cet | na, bāhye dharmiṇyanekatvasya sādhyasya pratyakṣādyabādhitatvāt | buddhyākārakadambake tūktakrameṇa svasaṃvedanādisiddhaikatve'nekatvasya pratyākhyānād bādhakāvatāra eva nāsti | tasmād vijñānatve satīti hetuviśeṣaṇaṃ kartavyam yena bāhyasyaiva bhedaḥ sidhyati ||



nanu yadi vijñānātmakaṃ vicitrākāracakramekaṃ tadā nīlākāra eva pītādyākāravṛndaṃ praviśet | tathā prakāśākāracakrayorabhedo vyaktisāmānyavat prakāśa eva, ākāracakrameva vā syāditi cet | asadetat | tathā hi dvayorapyanayoḥ prasaṅgaviparyayayoḥ bhedaḥ, sa ca bāhyārthavāda eva yujyate, tatra bhedagrāhakasyendriyapratyakṣasyeṣṭatvāt | vijñānavāde tvanātmaprakāśābhāvāt svasaṃvedanamevaikaṃ pramāṇam | tato'pi viparyayasya bhedasya siddheḥ prasaṅgo'pyasaṅgataḥ ityadvaitameva |



kiṃ ca evaṃ sthūlanīlādyākāro'pi paramāṇumātre praviśedityapratibhāsaṃjagadāpadyeta | asti ca pratibhāsaḥ | tasmād yathāvasthitānāmevākārāṇāmakhaṇḍasvasaṃvedanātmataivaikatvam, na bhedo na saṃkocaḥ svīkartavyo'pratibhāsaprasaṅgāt | tathā kṛtakatvasyānityatvavastutvādibhirabhede kṛtakatvamevānityatvameva vā syādityapi prasaṅgo vaktavya āpadyeta, sāmānyavyaktyoriva tayorvastuto'bhedo'khaṇḍātmatvāt ||



vyāvṛttibheda eva paramiti cet | yadyevaṃ prakāśanīlādyorapyayameva kramo jāgartītyekāvaśeṣaprasaṅgo bālapralāpaḥ | tadevaṃ bāhyaṃ na naśyati bhidāṇutayāpi sattvā-

darthaktriyāvirahasaṃkaratātmabhede |

buddhistu naśyati bhidaiva vidaiva sattvā-

ccitrāpyato na bhidameti kimatra kurmaḥ ||

nanu deśavitānāptirnātmāntaraviyoginaḥ |

deśavitānahānau na bhāsa ityapi śakyate ||

iti cet |

na svātmāntaramanyātmā sa bāhyasyaiva yujyate |

buddheḥ svavittiniṣṭhāyāḥ yaḥ parastasya kā gatiḥ ||

hanta tathāpi



nīlādivattadekaṃ ca kathametat sametu cet |

nīlamaṃśāntaraṃ caikaṃ kathaṃ tadbhāti saṅgatam ||

neṣṭaṃ tadapi cet tarhi kvāṇvantarbhidi bhāsanam |

na parīkṣākṣamaṃ cāṇuḥ kutastasya tadā bhidā ||

mā bhūdavastubhāvāccet so'pyekatvahatau bhavet |

nirbhāsādekatāsiddhau svavittervastutā sthitā ||

na pratītyasamutpādo'nutpādo vāsya bādhakaḥ |

ekānekaviyoge'pi sphūrtimātreṇa sattvataḥ ||

kiṃ ca pūrvāparajñānamadvaite yanna vidyate |

pratītyotpannatā tasmādasiddherapyasādhanam ||

anutpādo'pyanekānto'kāryakāraṇarūpakam |

hāne'pi hetuphalayoḥ sphuradrūpaṃ kva gacchatu ||

ekānekatayā vastuvyāptiḥ siddhā yadi kvacit |

sarvaśūnyatvasamaye heturiṣṭavighātakṛt ||

atha lokapra(si)ddhau ca na sarvalokakalpitam |

vastuvyavasthā śaraṇaṃ kiṃ tu mānena saṅgatam ||

na cādhyakṣānumānābhyāmanaṅgaṃ kvacidīkṣitam |

yasya rāśiranekaṃ syānnāpi vastu ca kiñcina ||

yasya caikataratvābhyāṃ sattvavyāptiḥ sa hanyatām |

abhrāntavittimātreṇa sattāvādī tu jitvaraḥ ||



||samāptaścitrādvaitaprakāśavādo'yam ||



grāhayaṃ na tasya grahaṇaṃ (na) tena

jñānāntaragrāhayatāpi śūnyaḥ |

tathāpi ca jñānamayaḥ prakāśaḥ
