uktāni smṛtyupasthānāni | evaṃ yogyacitto daśasu dikṣu śeṣasya jagato duḥkhasāgaroddharaṇābhisaṃbodhyupāyo vyomaparyantatraikālyasarvadharmavaśavartitvāyaiva tu punaḥ sarvadharmaśūnyatāmavataret | evaṃ hi pudgalaśūnyatā siddhā bhavati | tataśca chinnamūlatvāt kleśā na samudācaranti ||



yathoktamāryatathāgataguhyasūtre- tadyathāpi nāma śāntamate vṛkṣasya mūlacchinnasya sarvaśākhāpatrapalāśāḥ śuṣyanti, evameva śāntamate satkāyadṛṣṭayupaśamātsarvakleśā upaśāmyantīti ||



śūnyatābhāvanānuśaṃsāstvaparyantāḥ || yathā tāvaccandrapradīpasūtre-

so'sau śikṣa na jātu trasatī[ oṣirī?] sugatānāṃ

so'sau śūru na jātu istriṇāṃ vaśametī |

so'sau śāsani prīti vindate sugatānāṃ

yo'sau dharmasvabhāva jānatī supraśāntam ||

so'sau neha cireṇa bheṣya(te) dvipadendraḥ

so'sau vaidya bhiṣak bheṣyate sukhadātā |

so'sau udvari śalya sarvaśo dukhitānāṃ

yo'sau dharmasvabhāva jānatī supraśāntam ||

so'sau kṣāntibalena udgato naracandraḥ

so'sau loṣṭakadaṇḍatāḍito na kupyī |

so'sau chidyati aṅgamaṅgaśo na ca kṣumyo |

yo'sau dharmasvabhāva jānati supraśāntam ||

nāsau durgatiṣū patiṣyatī anuvyañjana

nityaṃ lakṣaṇadhāri bheṣyatī abhirūpaḥ |

pañco tasya abhijña bhāvitā imi nityaṃ

purataḥ so sugatāna sthāsyatī sa ca śūraḥ || ityādi ||



bhagavatyāmapyuktam- punaraparaṃ śāriputra bodhisattvena mahāsattvena buddhakāyaṃ niṣpādayitukāmena dvātriṃśanmahāpuruṣalakṣaṇānyaśītiṃ cānuvyañjanāni pratilabdhukāmena sarvatra jātau jātismaratāṃ bodhicittāvipraṇāśatāṃ bodhisattvacaryāsaṃpramoṣatāṃ pratilabdhukāmena sarvapāpamitrapāpasahāyān vivarjayitukāmena sarvabuddhabodhisattvakalyāṇamitrāṇyārāgayitukāmena sarvamāramārakāyikadevatā nirjetukāmena sarvāvaraṇīyāni śodhayitukāmena sarvadharmānāvaraṇatāṃ pratilabdhukāmena prajñāpāramitāyāṃ śikṣitavyam | punaraparaṃ śāriputra bodhisattvena mahāsattvena ye daśasu dikṣu buddhā bhagavantastiṣṭhanti, te me varṇaṃ bhāveran iti prajñāpāramitāyāṃ śikṣitavyam | punaraparaṃ śāriputra bodhisattvena mahāsattvena ekacittotpādena pūrvasyāṃ diśi gaṅgānadīvālukopamān lokadhātūn samatikrāmitukāmena | peyālaṃ | evaṃ sarvadikṣu prajñāpāramitāyāṃ śikṣitavyam | ityādyativistaraḥ ||



tatra yathā nirātmānaśca sarvadharmāḥ, karmaphalasaṃbandhāvirodhaśca niḥsvabhāvatā ca, yathādṛṣṭasarvadharmāvirodhaśca, tathā pitṛputrasamāgame darśitam- ṣaḍdhāturayaṃ mahārāja puruṣaḥ ṣaṭsparśāyatanaḥ aṣṭādaśamanaupavicāraḥ | ṣaḍdhāturayaṃ mahārāja puruṣa iti na khalu punaretadyuktam-kiṃ vaitatpratītyoktaṃ ṣaḍime mahārāja dhātavaḥ | katame ṣaṭ? tadyathā pṛthivīdhāturabdhātustejodhāturvāyudhāturākāśadhāturvijñānadhātuśca, ime mahārāja ṣaḍdhātavaḥ | yāvat ṣaḍimāni mahārāja sparśāyatanāni | katamāni ṣaṭ? cakṣuḥ sparśāyatanaṃ rūpāṇāṃ darśanāya | śrotraṃ sparśāyatanaṃ śabdānāṃ śravaṇāya | ghrāṇaṃ sparśāyatanaṃ gandhānāmāghrāṇāya | jihvā sparśāyatanaṃ rasānāmāsvādanāya | kāyaḥ sparśāyatanaṃ spraṣṭavyānāṃ sparśanāya | manaḥ sparśāyatanaṃ dharmāṇāṃ vijñānāya | imāni ca mahārāja ṣaṭsparśāyatanāni|| pe|| aṣṭādaśeme mahārāja manaupavicārāḥ | katame'ṣṭādaśa? iha puruṣaścakṣuṣā rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvā saumanasyadaurmanasyopekṣāsthānīyānyupavicarati | evaṃ śrotrādiṣu vācyam | tena pratyekamindriyaṣaṭkena saumanasyāditrayāṇāṃ bhedā[da]ṣṭādaśa manaupavicārā bhavanti | peyālaṃ | katamaśca mahārāja ādhyātmikaḥ pṛthivīdhātuḥ? yatkiṃcidasmin kāye'dhyātmaṃ kakkhaṭatvaṃ kharagatamupāttam | tatpunaḥ katamat? tadyathā | keśā romāṇi nakhā dantā ityādi | ayamucyate ādhyātmikaḥ pṛthivīdhātuḥ || katamaśca mahārāja bāhyaḥ pṛthivīdhātuḥ? yatkiṃcid bāhyaṃ kakkhaṭatvaṃ kharagatamanupāttam, ayamucyate bāhyaḥ pṛthivīdhātuḥ | tatra mahārāja ādhyātmikaḥ pṛthivīdhaturutpadyamāno na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamāno na kkacitsaṃnicayaṃ gacchati | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yatstrī adhyātmamahaṃ strīti kalpayati | sā adhyātmamahaṃ strīti kalpayitvā bahirdhā puruṣaṃ puruṣa iti kalpayati | sā bahirdhā puruṣaṃ puruṣa iti kalpayitvā saṃraktā satī bahirdhā puruṣeṇa sārdhaṃ saṃyogamākāṅkṣate | puruṣo'pyadhyātmaṃ puruṣo'smīti kalpayatīti pūrvavat | tayoḥ saṃyogākāṅkṣayā saṃyogo bhavati | saṃyogapratyayātkalalaṃ jāyate | tatra mahārāja yaśca saṃkalpo yaśca saṃkalpayitā, ubhayametanna saṃvidyate | striyāṃ strī na saṃvidyate | puruṣe puruṣo na saṃvidyate | iti hyasannasadbhūtaḥ saṃkalpo jātaḥ | so'pi saṃkalpaḥ svabhāvena na saṃvidyate | yathā saṃkalpastathā saṃyogo'pi | kalalamapi svabhāvena na saṃvidyate | yaśca svabhāvato na saṃvidyate, tatkathaṃ kakkhaṭatvaṃ janayiṣyati? iti hi mahārāja saṃkalpaṃ jñātvā kakkhaṭatvaṃ veditavyam | [yathā] kakkhaṭatvamutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamānaṃ na kkacitsaṃnicayaṃ gacchatīti |

bhavati mahārāja samayo yadayaṃ kāyaḥ śmaśānaparyavasāno bhavati | tasya tatkakkhaṭatvaṃ saṃklidyamānaṃ nirudhyamānaṃ na pūrvāṃ diśaṃ gacchati, na dakṣiṇāṃ na paścimāṃ nottarāṃ nordhvaṃ nādho na tu vidiśaṃ gacchati | evaṃ mahārāja ādhyātmikaḥ pṛthivīdhāturdraṣṭavyaḥ | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yadākāśībhūte lokasaṃniveśe brāhmaṃ vimānaṃ saṃtiṣṭhate mahāratnamayam | tanmahārāja kakkhaṭatvamutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgacchati | cakravālamahācakravālāḥ saṃtiṣṭhante dṛḍhāḥ sārā ekaghanā vajramayāḥ | teṣāmapi kakkhaṭatvamutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgacchati | sumeravaḥ parvatarājāno yugaṃdharā nirmidharā īśādhārā yāvatkālaparvatāḥ saṃtiṣṭhante | sarvaśca trisāhastramahāsāhastro lokadhātuḥ saṃtiṣṭhate | caturaśītiryojanasahastrāṇyudvedhena, madhye cāṣṭaṣaṣṭiṃ yojanaśatasahastraṃ mahāpṛthivī saṃtiṣṭhate | tadapi mahārāja kakkhaṭatvaṃ samudāgacchat na kutaścidāgacchati | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yadā ayaṃ lokaḥ saṃvartate | tadeyaṃ mahāpṛthivī agninā vā dahyate, adbhirvā midyate, vāyunā vā vikīryate | tasyā agninā dahyamānāyā maṣirapi na prajñāyate | tadyathāpi nāma sarpiṣo vā tailasya vā agninā dahyamānasya na maṣirna chārikā prajñāyate, evameva asyāstrisāhastramahāsāhastrāyā lokadhātoragninā dahyamānāyā naiva maṣirna chārikā avaśiṣṭā prajñāyate | evamadbhirlavaṇavilayavadvāyunā vairambhavātābhihataśakuntavatpṛthivyāṃ na kiṃcidavaśiṣṭaṃ prajñāyata iti paṭhayate | tatra mahārāja pṛthivīdhatorutpādo'pi śūnyaḥ, vyayo'pi śūnyaḥ | utpanno'pi pṛthivīdhātuḥ svabhāvaśūnyaḥ | iti hi mahārāja pṛthivīdhātuḥ pṛthivīdhātutvena nopalabhyate'nyatra vyavahārāt | so'pi vyavahāro na strī na puruṣaḥ | evamevaitanmahārāja yathābhūtaṃ samyakprajñayā draṣṭavyam | tatra katamo'bdhātuḥ? yadidamasmin kāye'dhyātmaṃ pratyātmamāpaḥ abgatam | aptvaṃ snehaḥ | snehagataṃ snehatvaṃ dravyatvamupagatamupāttam | tatpunaḥ katamat? tadyathā aśru svedaḥ kheṭaḥ siṅghāṇakaṃ vasā lasīkā majjā medaḥ pittaṃ śleṣmā pūyaḥ śoṇitaṃ kṣīraṃ prastrāva ityādi | ayamucyate ādhyātmiko'bdhātuḥ | peyālaṃ | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yatpriyaṃ dṛṣṭvā aśru pravartate | duḥkhena cābhyāhatasya dharmasaṃvegena vā aśru pravartate | vātena vā akṣi prasyandate | yāvatsa mahārāja abdhāturna kutaścidāgacchati | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yadādhyātmiko'bdhātuḥ pariśuṣyati | sa pariśuṣyannirudhyamāno na kkacidgacchati | pe | vivartamāne khalu punarloke samantād dvātriṃśatpaṭalā abhraghanāḥ saṃtiṣṭhante | saṃsthāya sarvāvantaḥ trisāhastramahāsāhastraṃ lokadhātuṃ chādayanti | yataḥ pañcāntarakalpānīṣādhāro devo varṣati | evaṃ pañcagajaprameho devo varṣati | pañca acchinnadhāraḥ | pañca sthūlabindukaḥ | tata iyaṃ mahāpṛthivī yāvad brahmalokādudakena sphuṭā bhavati | sa mahārāja tāvān mahānabdhāturutpadyamāno na kutaścidāgacchati | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yadayaṃ lokaḥ saṃvartate | saṃvartamāne khalu punarloke dvitīyasya sūryasya prādurbhāvo bhavati | dvitīyasya sūryasya loke prādurbhāvādutsāḥ sarāṃsi kunadyaśca śuṣyanti | evaṃ tṛtīyasya | mahotsā mahānadyaḥ | caturthasyānavataptaṃ mahāsaraḥ sarveṇa sarvamucchuṣyati | caturthasya sūryasya prādurbhāvānmahāsamudrasya yojanikamapyudakaṃ parikṣayaṃ paryādānaṃ gacchati | dviyojanikamapi tricatuḥpañcadaśaviṃśatitriṃśaccatvāriṃśatpañcāśadyojanikamapi yāvaccatvāriṃśadyojanasahastramudakamavaśiṣṭaṃ bhavati | yāvad dvitālamātram yāvatkaṇṭhamātram yāvadgoṣpadamātramudakamavaśiṣṭaṃ bhavatiṃ | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yanmahāsamudre pṛthitapṛthitānyavaśiṣṭhāni bhavanti | peyālaṃ | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yanmahāsamudre'ṅgulisnehamātramapyudakaṃ nāvaśiṣṭaṃ bhavati | sa mahārāja tāvānabdhāturnirudhyamāno na kkacidgacchati | pe | tasya khalu punarmahārāja abdhātorutpādo'pi śūnyaḥ, vyayo'pi śūnyaḥ | tiṣṭhannapi so'bdhātuḥ svabhāvaśūnyaḥ | iti hi mahārāja abdhāturabdhātutvenopalabhyate'nyatra vyavahāramātrāt | so'pi vyavahāro na strī na puruṣaḥ | pūrvavat || pe|| ādhyātmikastejodhātuḥ katamaḥ? yatkiṃcidasmin kāye tejastejogatamūṣmagatamupagatamupāttam | tatpunaḥ katamat? yenāyaṃ kāya ātapyate saṃtapyate | yena vā asyāśitapītakhāditāni samyaksukhena paripākaṃ gacchati | yasya cotsadatvājjavarito jvarita iti saṃkhyāṃ gacchati | peyālaṃ bāhyastejodhātuḥ katamaḥ? yadbāhyaṃ tejastejogatamūṣmagatamupagatamupāttam | tatpunaḥ katamat? yanmanuṣyā araṇīsahagatebhyo garbhalasahagatebhyo vā gomayacūrṇena vā kāṃrpāsapicunā va samanveṣante | yadutpannaṃ grāmamapi dahati, grāmapradeśamapi dahati, yāvad dvīpaṃ vā kakṣaṃ tṛṇānāṃ vā dāvaṃ vā kāṣṭhaṃ vā yāvaddahan paraitītyādi | tatra mahārāja ādhyātmikastejodhāturutpadyate, na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamāno na kkacitsaṃnicayaṃ gacchati | iti hyabhūtvā bhavati, bhūtvā ca prativigacchati svabhāvarahitatvāt || pe|| evaṃ yatkiṃcidasmin kāye vāyurvāyugataṃ laghutvaṃ samudīraṇatvam | tatpunaḥ katamat? tadyathā ūrdhvagamā vāyavo'dhogamāḥ pārśvāśrayāḥ pṛṣṭhāśrayāḥ kukṣigamāḥ śastrakāḥ kṣurakāḥ sūcakāḥ pippalakā vātāṣṭhīlā vātagulmā āśvāsapraśvāsā aṅgānusāriṇo vāyava ityādi | santi bahirdhā pūrve vāyavo dakṣiṇāḥ paścimā uttarā vāyavaḥ, sarajasaḥ arajasaḥ, parīttā mahadgatā vāyava iti | bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yanmahān vāyuskandhaḥ samudāgataḥ vṛkṣāgrānapi pātayati | kuḍayānapi parvatāgrānapi pātayati | pātayitvā nirupādāno vigacchati | yaṃ sattvāścīvarakarṇikena vā vidhamanakena vātānuvṛttane vā paryeṣante | yāvadayamucyate bāhyo vāyudhātuḥ | tasyāpyutpattiḥ pūrvavat || pe|| ādhyātmika ākāśadhātuḥ katamaḥ? yatkiṃcidasmin kāye'dhyātmaṃ pratyātmamupagatamupāttamākāśagatamihābhyantarasaṃkhyābhūtam, asphuṭamaspharaṇīyaṃ tvaḍyāsaśoṇitena | tatpunaḥ katamat? yadasmin kāye cakṣuḥ suṣiramiti vā yāvanmukhaṃ vā mukhadvāraṃ vā kaṇṭhaṃ vā kaṇṭhanāḍayo vā | yena cābhyavaharati yatra cāvatiṣṭhate, yena cāsya aśitapītakhāditāsvāditamadhastātpragharati, ayamucyata ādhyātmika ākāśadhātuḥ | evaṃ bāhye'pi yadasphuṭamaspharaṇīyaṃ rūpagatenāpaliguddhaṃ suṣirabhāvaśchidram | ayamucyate bāhyaḥ ākāśadhātuḥ || bhavati mahārāja sa samayo yatkarmapratyayādāyatanāni prādurbhavanti, tānyākāśadhātuṃ paricārayanti | tatra saṃkhyā bhavatyādhyātmika ākāśadhāturiti | sa na kutaścidāgacchati | bhavati samayo yadrūpaṃ bibharti, sarvamākāśībhavati | tatkasya hetoḥ? akṣayo hyākāśadhātuḥ sthiro'calaḥ | tadyathā mahārāja asaṃskṛto nirvāṇadhātuḥ, evamevākāśadhātuḥ sarvatrānugato draṣṭavyaḥ | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja puruṣa utthale deśe udapānaṃ vā kuṭakaṃ vā kūpaṃ vā puṣkariṇīṃ vā khānayet | tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja yattatrākāśaḥ, kutastadāgatamiti? āha- na kutaścidbhagavan | bhagavānāha- tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja sa puruṣaḥ punareva tadudapānaṃ vā yāvatpuṣkariṇīṃ vā pūrayet, tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja yattadākāśaṃ kkacidgatamiti ? āha- na kkacidgataṃ bhagavan | tatkasya hetoḥ? na hyakāśadhāturgamane vā āgamane vā pratyupasthitaḥ | na strībhāvena na puruṣabhāvena pratyupasthitaḥ | bhagavānāha- iti hi mahārāja bāhyākāśadhāturacalaḥ avikāraḥ | tatkasya hetoḥ? śūnyo hyākāśadhāturākāśadhātutvena | virahita ākāśadhāturākāśadhātutvena | na puruṣabhāvena na strībhāvena pratyupasthitaḥ | evameva yathābhūtaṃ samyakprajñayā draṣṭavyam || tatra katamo vijñānadhātuḥ ? yā cakṣurindriyādhipateyā rūpārambaṇaprativijñaptiḥ | yāvaditi hi mahārāja yā kācidvarṇasaṃsthānaprativijñaptiḥ, ayamucyate cakṣurvijñānadhātuḥ | pe| iti hi yā ṣaḍindriyādhipateyā ṣaḍviṣayārambaṇā viṣayavijñaptiḥ, ayamucyate vijñānadhātu | sa khalu punarayaṃ mahārāja vijñānadhāturnendriyaniśrito na viṣayebhya āgato na madhye'ntarasthāyī | sa nādhyātmaṃ bahirdhā nobhayamantareṇa | sa khalu punarayaṃ mahārāja vijñānadhāturvastu prativijñapya niruddhaḥ | sa utpadyamāno na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamāno na kkacidgacchati | tasya khalu punarvijñānadhātorutpādo'pi śūnyaḥ, vyayo'pi śūnyaḥ, utpanno'pi vijñānadhātuḥ svabhāvaśūnyaḥ | iti mahārāja vijñānadhāturvijñānadhātutvena śūnyo nopalabhyate'nyatra vyavahārāt | so'pi vyavahāro na strī na puruṣaḥ | evametadyathābhūtaṃ smyakprajñayā draṣṭavyam || tatra mahārāja katamaccakṣurāyatanam? yaccaturṇā mahābhūtānāṃ prasādaḥ | tadyathā- pṛthivīdhātorabdhātostejodhātorvāyudhātoryāvat | tatra na pṛthivīdhātuprasādaścakṣurāyatanam | nābdhātuprasādaḥ , na tejodhātuprasādaḥ, na vāyudhātuprasādaścakṣurāyatanam | tatkasya hetoḥ? na hi pṛthivīdhātuprasādaḥ kasyaciddharmāyatanaṃ vā āyatanapratilambhena vā pratyupasthitaḥ | evaṃ yāvanna vāyudhātuprasādaḥ kasyaciddharmasyāyatanaṃ vā āyatanapratilambhena vā pratyupasthitaḥ | tatkasya hetoḥ? niśceṣṭā hyete dharmā niṣṭhāpārā nirvāṇasamāḥ | iti hi mahārāja ekaikato dharmān mṛgyamāṇān cakṣurāyatanaṃ nopalabhyate'nyatra vyavahārāt | tatkasya hetoḥ? śūnyo hi pṛthivīdhātuprasādaḥ pṛthivīdhātuprasādena | yāvacchūnyo vāyudhātuprasādo vāyudhātuprāsādena | ye ca dharmāḥ svabhāvena śūnyāḥ, kasteṣāṃ prasādo vā kṣomo vā? yeṣāṃ na prasādo na kṣobha upalabhyate, kathaṃ te rūpaṃ drakṣyanti? iti hyatyantatayā cakṣurāyatanaṃ śūnyaṃ cakṣurāyatanasvabhāvena | tatpūrvāntato nopalabhyate, aparāntato'pi nopalabhyate anāgamanatāṃ gamanatāṃ copādāya | sthānamapyasya nopalabhyate svabhāvavirahitatvāt | yacca svabhāvena na saṃvidyate, na tat strī na puruṣaḥ | tena kā manyanā? manyanā ca nāma mahārāja māragocaraḥ | amanyanā buddhagocaraḥ |tatkasya hetoḥ? manyanāpagatā hi sarvadharmāḥ | peyālaṃ | tatra mahārāja katamacchrotrāyatanam? yaccaturṇāṃ mahābhūtānāṃ prasādaḥ | yāvaditi hi mahārāja sarvadharmā vimokṣābhimukhā dharmadhātuniyatā ākāśadhātuparyavasānā aprāptikā avyavahārā anabhilāpyā anabhilāpanīyāḥ | yatra mahārāja indriyāṇi pratihanyante, te viṣayā ityucyante | cakṣurhi rūpe pratihanyate, tasmādrūpāṇi cakṣurviṣayā ityucyante | evaṃ śrotraṃ śabdeṣvityādi | tatra cakṣū rūpe pratihanyata iti nipātaḥ pratihanyanā teṣāṃ nirdiṣṭā | tathā hi cakṣū rūpeṣu trividhaṃ nipatatīti anukūleṣu śubhasaṃjñayā, pratikuleṣu pratighasaṃjñayā, naivānukūleṣu na pratikūleṣūpekṣayā | evaṃ manodharmeṣvityādi | ta ime viṣaya manogocarā ityucyatne | atra hi manaścarati, upavicarati, tasmānmanogocarā ityucyante | yadetanmahārāja manopratikūleṣu rūpeṣvanunītaṃ carati, tenāsya rāga utpadyate | pratikūleṣu rūpeṣu pratihataṃ carati, tenāsya dveṣa utpadyate | naivānukūleṣu na pratikūleṣu saṃmūḍhaṃ carati, tenāsya moha utpadyate | evaṃ śabdādiṣvapi trividhamārambaṇamanubhavati pūrvavat || tatra mahārāja māyopamānīndriyāṇi, svapnopamā viṣayaḥ | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja puruṣaḥ suptaḥ svaprāntare jana padakalyāṇyā striyā sārdha paricaret | sa śayitavivuddho janapadakalyāṇīṃ striyamanusmaret | tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja saṃvidyate svaprāntare janapadakalyāṇī strī ? āha - no hīdaṃ bhagavan | bhagavānāha- tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja api nu sa puruṣaḥ paṇḍitajātīyo bhavet, yaḥ svaprāntare janapadakalyāṇīṃ striyamanusmaret, tayā vā sārdha krīḍitamabhiniveśet? āha- no hīdaṃ bhagavan | tatkasya hetoḥ? atyantatayā hi bhagavan svapnāntare janapadakalyāṇī na saṃvidyate nopalabhyate, kutaḥ punaranayā sārdhaṃ paricaraṇā? anyatra yāvadeva sa puruṣo vighātasya klamathasya bhāgī syāt yastāmabhiniviśet | bhagavānāha- evameva mahārāja bālo'śrutavān pṛthagjanaścakṣuṣā rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvā saumanasyasthānīyānyabhiniviśet | so'bhiniviṣṭaḥ sannanunīyate | anunītaḥ saṃrajyate saṃrakto rāgajaṃ karmābhisaṃskaroti - trividhaṃ kāyena, caturvidhaṃ vācā, trividhaṃ manasā | tacca karma abhisaṃskṛtamādita eva kṣīṇaṃ niruddhaṃ vigataṃ vipariṇataṃ na pūrvā diśaṃ niśritya tiṣṭhati, na dakṣiṇāṃ na paścimāṃ nottarāṃ nordhvaṃ nādho nānuvidiśaṃ neha na tiryak, nobhayamantarā | tatpunaḥ kālāntareṇa maraṇakālasamaye pratyupasthite jīvitendriyanirodhe āyuṣaḥ parikṣayāttatsabhāgasya karmaṇaḥ kṣīṇatvāccaramavijñānasya nirudhyamānasya manasa ārambaṇībhavati | tadyathāpi nāma śayitavibuddhasya janapadakalyāṇīti [ manasa ārambaṇaṃ bhavati | iti ] hi mahārāja caramavijñānenādhipatinā tena ca karmaṇā ārambaṇena aupapattyaṃśikaddhayapratyayaṃ prathamavijñānamutpadyate | yadi vā narakeṣu, yadi vā tiryagyonau, yadi vā yamaloke, yadi vā āsure kāye, yadi vā manuṣyeṣu , yadi vā deveṣu | tasya ca prathamavijñānasya aupapattyaṃśikasya samanantaraniruddhasya anantarasabhāgā cittasaṃtatiḥ pravartate, yatra vipākasya pratisaṃvedanā prajñāyate | tatra yaścaramavijñānasya nirodhastatra cyutiriti saṃkhyāṃ gacchati | yaḥ prathama vijñānasya prādurbhāvastatropapattiḥ | iti hi mahārāja na kāściddharmo'smāllokātparaṃ lokaṃ gacchati, cyutyupapattī ca prajāyete | tatra mahārāja caramavijñānamutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgaccati, nirudhyamānaṃ na kkacidgaccati | karmāpyutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamānaṃ na kkaccidgacchati | prathamavijñānamapyutpadyamānaṃ na kutaścidāgacchati, nirudhyamānaṃ ca na kkacidgacchati | tatkasya hetoḥ? svabhāvavirahitatvāt | caramavijñānaṃ caramavijñānena śūnyam | karma karmaṇā śūnyam | prathamavijñānaṃ prathamavijñānena śūnyam | cyutiścyutyā śūnyā | upapattirupapattyā śūnyā| karmaṇāṃ cāvandhyatā prajñāyate, vipākasya ca pratisaṃvedanā | na cātra kaścitkartā na bhoktā'nyatra nāmasaṃketāt | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja puruṣaḥ suptaḥ svapnāntare śatruṇā sārdhaṃ saṃgrāmayet | sa śayitavibuddhaḥ tamevānusmaret | tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja saṃvidyate svapnāntare śatruḥ, śatruṇā vā sārdhaṃ saṃgrāma iti | āha- no hīdaṃ bhagavan | bhagavānāha- tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja api nu sa puruṣaḥ paṇḍitajātīyo bhavet yo'sau svapnāntare śatrumabhiniviśet, śatruṇā vā sārdhaṃ saṃgrāmam? āha - no hīdaṃ bhagavan | tatkasya hetoḥ? atyantatayā hi bhagavan svapne śatrurna saṃvidyate, kutaḥ punastena sārdhaṃ saṃgrāmaḥ? anyatra yāvadeva sa puruṣo vighātasya klamathasya ca bhāgī syāt yastamabhiniviśet | bhagavānāha-evameva mahārāja bālo'śrutavān pṛthagjanaścakṣuṣā rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvā daurmanasyasthānīyānyabhiniviśate | abhiniviṣṭaḥ san pratihanyate | pratihataḥ saṃduṣyati | duṣṭo doṣajaṃ karmābhisaṃskarotīti pūrvavat | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja puruṣaḥ suptaḥ svapnāntare piśācena paripātyamāno bhītaḥ saṃmohamāpadyate | sa śayitavibuddhastaṃ piśācaṃ taṃ ca saṃmohamanusmaret | tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja saṃvidyante svapne piśācaḥ saṃmoho vā? yāvadevameva mahārāja bālo'śrutavān pṛthagjanaścakṣuṣā rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvā upekṣāsthānīyānyabhiniviśate, abhiniviṣṭaḥ san muhyati, mūḍho mohajaṃ karmabhisaṃskarotīti pūrvavat | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja puruṣaḥ suptaḥ svapnāntare janapadakalyāṇyā gāyantyā madhuraṃ gītasvaraṃ madhuraṃ ca tantrīsvaraṃ ca śṛṇuyāt | sa tena gītavāditena paricārayet | sa śayitavibuddhastadeva gītavāditamanusmaret | tatkiṃ manyase mahārāja api nu sa puruṣaḥ paṇḍitajātīyaḥ svapnāntare janapadakalyāṇyā gītavāditabhiniviśet? āha- no hīdaṃ bhagavan | bhagavānāha- tatkasya hetoḥ? atyantatayā hi bhagavan svapnāntare janapadakalyāṇī strī na saṃvidyate, nopalabhyate, kutaḥ punarasyā gītavāditam? anyatra yāvadeva sa puruṣo vighātasya klamathasya ca bhāgī syāt, yastadabhiniviśet | bhagavānāha evameva mahārāja bālo'śrutavān pṛthagjanaḥ śrotreṇa śabdān śrutvā saumanasyasthānīyānyabhiniviśate | iti pūrvavat | evaṃ gandhādiṣu tridhā tridhā veditavyam | peyālaṃ | atra mahārāja mānasaṃ nirveśayitavyam kimityahaṃ sadevakasya lokasya cakṣurbhaveyam, ulkā pradīpa ālokabhūtaḥ | kūlaṃ naustīrtham nāyakaḥ pariṇāyakaḥ daiśikaḥ sārthavāhaḥ | puro javeyam | mukto mocayeyam, āśvasta āśvāsayeyam, parinirvṛtaḥ parinirvāpayeyamiti | pūrvā hi koṭirmahārāja na prajñāyate aiśvaryādhipatyānāmanubhūyamānānām | iti hi mahārāja māyopamānīndriyāṇyatṛptānyatarṣaṇīyāni | svapnopamā viṣayā atarṣakā atṛptikarāḥ || atra anantayaśaścakravartinaḥ kathā - svargācca patite tasmin sarājakaiḥ pauraiḥ parivṛta evaṃ paṭhayate | tadyathāpi nāma mahārāja sarpirmaṇḍo vā navanītamaṇḍo vā taptāyāṃ bālukāyāmupanikṣipto'vasīdati, na saṃtiṣṭhate, evameva mahārāja anantayaśā avasīdati na saṃtiṣṭhate | atha rājā priyaṃkaro rājānamanantayaśasaṃ tathāvasīdantamupasaṃkramyaitadavocat- kiṃ vayaṃ mahārāja lokasya vyākuryāmaḥ? kiṃ rājño'nantayaśasaḥ subhāṣitamiti? sa āha- vaktavyaṃ mahārāja anantayaśāścaturdvīpeṣu rājyaiśvaryaṃ kārayitvā vandhyamanorathatāmanubhūya sarvadrumākālaphalatāṃ sarvopadravaprastrabdhisarvasattvāvandhyamanorathatāṃ gandhodakavarṣaṃ hiraṇyavarṣaṃ suvarṇavarṣaṃ sarvopakaraṇavarṣaṃ cānubhūya caturo mahādvīpānadhyāvasitvā śakrasyārdhāsanamākramya atīcchayā na muktaḥ, atṛpta eva kāmaiḥ kālagata iti | evaṃ tvaṃ mahārāja vyākuryāḥ | ityevamuktvā ca rājā anantayaśāḥ kālamakārṣīt | pe | tasmāttarhi te mahārāja marīcikāyāmudakasvabhāvo nābhunna bhaviṣyati na caitarhi vidyate | evameva mahārāja rūpavedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānānāṃ svabhāvo nābhūnna bhaviṣyati, na caitarhi vidyata ityādi ||



punarapyuktam- etāvaccaitat jñeyam yaduta saṃvṛtiḥ paramārthaśca | tacca bhagavatā śūnyataḥ sudṛṣṭaṃ suviditaṃ susākṣātkṛtam | tena sa sarvajaña ityucyate | tatra saṃvṛtirlokapracāratastathāgatena dṛṣṭā | yaḥ punaḥ paramārthaḥ, so'nabhilāpyaḥ anājñeyo'vijñeyo'deśito'prakāśito yāvadakriyo yāvanna lābho nālābho na sukhaṃ na duḥkhaṃ na yaśo nāyaśaḥ, na rūpaṃ nārūpanityādi ||

tatra jinena jagasya kṛtena

saṃvṛti deśita lokahitāya |

yena jagatsugatasya sakāśe

saṃjanayīha prasādasukhārthe ||

saṃvṛti prajñapayī narasiṃhaḥ

ṣaḍgatayo bhaṇi sattvagaṇānām |

narakatiraśca tathaiva[ ca ] pretān

a [|] surakāya narāṃśca marūṃśca ||

nīcakulāṃstatha uccakulāṃśca

āḍhayakulāṃśca daridrakulāṃśca || ityādi ||



punaścoktam-katama eṣa dharmo yo bhagavatā vyākṛto'nuttarāyāṃ samyaksaṃbodhau? kiṃ rūpamuta vedanā āhosvitsaṃjñā utāho saṃskārāḥ atha vijñānaṃ bhagavatā vyākṛtamanuttarāyāṃ samyaksaṃbodhāviti | teṣāmetadabhūt- na rūpaṃ yāvanna vijñānaṃ bhagavatā vyākṛtamanuttarāyāṃ samyaksaṃbodhau | tatkasya hetoḥ? anutpado hi rūpam, anutpādo bodhiḥ | tatkathamanutpādo'nutpādamabhisaṃbudhyate? evaṃ yāvadvijñānam || pe|| tadevamanupalabhyamāneṣu sarvadharmeṣu katamo'tra buddhaḥ? katamā bodhiḥ? katamo bodhisatvaḥ? katamad vyākaraṇam? śūnyaṃ hi rūpaṃ rūpeṇa yāvadvijñānam || pe|| yāvadeva vyavahāramātrametat, nāmadheyamātraṃ saṃketamātraṃ saṃvṛtimātraṃ prajñaptimātram | nālamatra paṇḍitairabhiniveśa utpādayitavyaḥ | iti ||



tathā atraivāhurnirmāṇaratayoḥ- devā yathā vayaṃ bhagavan bhagavato bhāṣitasyārthamājānīmaḥ, sarvadharmā bhūtakoṭirantakoṭiranāvaraṇakoṭīrapratiṣṭhitakoṭirityādi || sarvadharmā bhagavan bodhisvabhāvavirahitā boddhavyāḥ | antaśa ānantaryāṇyapi bodhiḥ || tatkasya hetoḥ? aprakṛtikā hi bhagavan bodhiḥ, aprakṛtikāni ca pañcānantaryāṇi | tenocyate ānantaryāṇi bodhiriti | tathā vihāsyante bhagavan ye kecit parinirvātukāmāḥ | tatkasya hetoḥ? yadi kaścitsaṃsārapratipanno bhavet, sa nirvāṇaṃ paryeṣata iti ||



punaruktam- bhūtakoṭiriti bhagavan yadukta nirmāṇaratibhirdevaistatra vayaṃ bhūtamapi nopalabhāmahe, kiṃ punarasya koṭim | tatkasya hetoḥ? yo hi kaścidbhagavan bhūtamupalabhate, koṭimapi sa tasyopalabhate, dvaye cāsau caratīti ||

tathā atraiva sahāṃpatibrahmaṇā śāstā stutaḥ-



supiti yatha naraḥ kṣudhābhibhūtaḥ śatarasabhojanabhuñjino ca tṛptaḥ |

na pi ca kṣudha na bhojanaṃ na sattvaḥ supina yathaiva nidṛṣṭa sarvadharmāḥ ||

bhaṇi naru paṭhane manojñavācaṃ priyu bhavatī na ca saṃkramo'sti vācam |

na ca vacana na cāsya rakta vācāmupalabhase na ca tatra saṃśayo'sti ||

śruṇati yatha manojña vīṇaśabdaṃ madhura na cāsti svabhāvataḥ sa śabdaḥ |

tatha imi vidu skandha prekṣamāṇo na labhati bhāvu svabhāvataḥ sumedhāḥ || pe||

yatha naru iha śaṅkhaśabda śrutvā vimṛśati vidva kuto ya prādurbhūtaḥ |

na ca labhati svabhāva śūnyabhāvaṃ tatha tvaya dṛṣṭa narendra sarvadharmāḥ ||

yatha naru iha bhojanaṃ praṇītaṃ vimṛśati aṅgaśu siddhamasvabhāvam |

yatha rasu tatha te'ṅga tatsvabhāvāstatha tvaya dṛṣṭa maharṣi sarvadharmāḥ ||

yatha naru iha indrayaṣṭi dṛṣṭvā vimṛśati aṅgaśu niḥsvabhāva śūnyam |

vimṛśatu yatha yaṣṭi te'ṅga śūnyāstatha tvaya dṛṣṭa maharṣi sarvadharmāḥ ||

puravara yatha aṅgaśo vibhajya nagaru svabhāvatu nāmato na labdham |

yatha nagara tathāṅga sarvaśūnyāstatha tvaya dṛṣṭa narendra sarvadharmāḥ ||

mudita yatha na rāgamukta bherī harṣa janeti svabhāvaśūnyaśabdā |

svaru ya[tha] tatha te'ṅga tatsvabhāvaṃ tatha tvaya dṛṣṭa maharṣi sarvadharmāḥ ||

hanatu yatha narasya tāṃ hi bherīṃ pratighu na vidyati nāpi snehadhātuḥ ||



vimṛśatu bherīva te'ṅga tatsvabhāvāḥ tatha tvaya dṛṣṭa narendra sarvadharmāḥ |

hanatu yatha narasya tāṃ hi bherīṃ svaru na sa manyati rāmayāmi lokam |

svaru yatha tatha te'ṅga tatsvabhāvāḥ tatha tvaya dṛṣṭa narendra sarvadharmāḥ ||

hanatu yatha narasya tasya bheryāṃ na pi svaru aṅgaśu nāpi sa svatantraḥ |

svaru yatha tatha te'ṅga tatsvabhāvāstatha tvaya dṛṣṭa maharṣi sarvadharmāḥ ||



punaścoktam-



sattvārambaṇa nāyakena kathitā maitrī śubhā bhāvanā

sattvaścāsya vibhāvitaḥ suviditaṃ niḥsattva sarvaṃ jagat |

tatraivaṃ dvipadottamo akaluṣo niḥsaṃśayāmānasaḥ

tena tvā sugataṃ vibhāvitamarti pūjema pūjāriham ||

duḥkhaṃ cāsugatā daśaddiśigataṃ naivaṃ parīdṛśyate

sattveṣū karuṇā ca nāma bhaṇitā devātideva tvayā |

evaṃ bho jinapuṃgavā jinamataṃ ājñāta yāthāvataḥ

tena tvāṃdvipadottamā naravarā pūjema pujāriham |||

sattvā naiva na duḥkha śākyamuninā yasyāpanītaṃ dukhaṃ

jātāste muditāśca hṛṣṭamanaso'ratīśca tairnoditāḥ |

evaṃ buddhanayaṃ acintiyanayaṃ yāthāvato jānato

[tasmāt] pūjiya tvāṃ narāṇa pravaraṃ prāyema prāptaṃ phalam ||

kāyaḥ kāyavivarjitena muninā nāsādito mārgatāṃ

naivaṃ te smṛtināyakā na bhaṇitā nava pramuṣṭā smṛtiḥ |

uktaṃ co sugatena bhāvapathimāḥ kāyaṃ gatā bhāvanāḥ

evaṃ buddhanayaṃ viditva sugatā pūjā kṛtā tāyinaḥ ||

bhāvethā śamathaṃ vipaśyanamayaṃ mārgaṃ dukhāśāntaye

śāntāste bhagavan savāsanamalā yehī jagat kliśyate |

śamathaścātha vipaśyanā na ca malā sarve ti śūnyā mune

asmin devagaṇā na kāṅkṣa kkacanā pūjentu tvāṃ nāyakam || ityādi||



punaruktam- śūnyaṃ hi cakṣuścakṣuḥsvabhāvena | yasya ca dharmasya svabhāvo na vidyate, so'vastukaḥ | yo'vastukaḥ, so'pariniṣpannaḥ | yo'pariniṣpannaḥ, sa notpadyate na nirudhyate || pe || yat triṣvapyadhvasu nopalabhyate, na taccakṣurnendriyam | kathaṃ tasya vyavahāro jñeyaḥ? tadyathāpi nāma riktamuṣṭiralīkaḥ, yāvadeva nāmamātram, no tu khalu paramārthato riktamupalabhyate na muṣṭiḥ | evaṃ cakṣuścendriyaṃ ca riktamuṣṭisadṛśamalīkamasadbhūtaṃ tucchaṃ muṣā moṣadharma bālopalāpanaṃ mūrkhasaṃmohanam, yāvadeva nāmamātram ||



punaratraivāha-



svapnāntare mahāvṛṣṭirāstravāṇāṃ pravartanā |

darśitā te mahāvīra āstravotpatti paṇḍitā ||

svapne yathā śiracchedo dṛṣṭaste āstravakṣayaḥ |

darśitaḥ sarvavijñānāṃ sarvadarśinnamo'stu te |



atraiva ca drumeṇa kinnararājena bhagavān pṛṣṭaḥ pratyāha- yadvadasi śūnyatāṃ ca vyākaraṇaṃ cāpyahaṃ na jānāmi | syādyadi kiṃcidaśūnyam, na bhavejjinenāsya vyākaraṇam | kiṃ kāraṇam? tathā hi- sthitaṃ bhavettatsvake bhāve, kūṭasthanirvikāram | na tasya vṛddhirna parihāṇiḥ | na kriyā na ca kāraṇam | yatsvabhāvaśūnyamādarśamaṇḍale supariśuddhe saṃdṛśyate pratibimbam, tathaiva druma jānīhi imān dharmān | avikāraṃ dharmadhātum | imāṃ ca pūjāṃ druma a[ ṅgaśo] vicārayasi | aṅgaśo nirīkṣya pūjām | katame'vikāriṇo'ṅgāḥ?



yadapi ca nirīhakatvaṃ kriyāṃ ca na jānase mayā proktam |

śakaṭāṅgasaṃnipātaṃ nirīkṣva śakaṭasya caiva kriyām ||

karma ca me ākhyātaṃ kartā na vidyate daśasu dikṣu |

vāteritādiva taroryathā hi na nivartate vahniḥ ||

na ca māruto na ca taruścetayati hutāśanaṃ ca yajane |

na nivartate vahnistathaiva karmasya kartāraḥ ||

yadapi vadase- na ca saṃcayaḥ puṇyasya hi vidyate, sucaritasya samudāgamaśca | bodhistasyāpi śṛṇu kramanta tvam | yathā bhaṇasi manuṣyāṇāmāyuḥ parimāṇaṃ varṣaśataṃ jīvin | na cāsti varṣapuñjī | ayamapi samudāgamastadvaditi ||



bhagavatyāmapyuktam- kiṃ punarāyuṣman subhūte utpanno dharma utpadyate utānutpannaḥ? subhūtirāha- nāhamāyuṣman śāriputra utpannasya dharmasyotpattimicchāmi, na cānutpannasyeti ||



dharmasaṃgītyāmapyuktam- tathatā tathateti kulaputra śūnyatāyā etadadhivacanam | sā ca śūnyatā notpadyate na nirudhyate | āha- yadyevaṃ dharmāḥ śūnyā uktā bhagavatā, tasmātsarvadharmā notpatsyante na nirotsyante | nirārambho bodhisattvaḥ | āha- evameva kulaputra tathā yathā amisaṃbudhyase- sarvadharmā notpadyante na nirudhyante | āha- yadetaduktaṃ bhagavatā- saṃskṛtā dharmā utpadyante nirudhyante ca , ityasya tathāgatabhāṣitasya ko'bhiprāyaḥ ? āha- utpādanirodhabhiniviṣṭaḥ kulaputra lokasaṃniveśaḥ | tatra tathāgato mahākāruṇiko lokasyottrāsapadaparihārārthaṃ vyavahāravaśāduktavān-utpadyante nirudhyante ceti | na cātra kasyaciddharmasyotpādo na nirodha iti ||



punaratraivoktam- tatra bhagavaṃścakṣū rūpeṣu na raṇati śrotraṃ śabdeṣu | yāvanmano dharmeṣu na raṇati, sa dharmaḥ | tatra kathaṃ cakṣū rūpeṣu na raṇati? saṃsargābhāvāt | na hi cakṣū rūpeṇa saṃsṛjyate | yāvanna mano dharmeṇa saṃsṛjyate | yanna saṃsṛjyate tanna raṇati | advitīyasya bhagavan dharmasya raṇaṃ nāsti | advitīyaśca bhagavan sarvadharmāḥ | parasparaṃ na jānanti na vijānanti na kalpayanti na vikalpayanti | na saṃbhavanti na visaṃbhavanti | na hīyante na vardhante | na rajyanyti na virajyanti | na saṃsaranti na parinirvānti | naite kasyacit, naiṣāṃ kaścit | naite bhagavan dharmā udvijante, na saṃkliśyante na vyavadāyante | evamahaṃ bhagavan jānāmi, evamavabudhye | yadapyahaṃ bhagavannevaṃ vadāmi- evamahaṃ jānāmi evamahaṃ budhyāmīti, āyatanānāmeṣa vikāraḥ | na ca bhagavannāyatanānāmevaṃ bhavati- asmākameṣa vikāra iti | yo hyevaṃ jānāti, sa na kenacitsārdha vivadati | yanna vivadati tacchramaṇadharmamanusaratīti | tathā dharmadarśanaṃ buddhadarśanaṃ sarvasattvadarśanaṃ sarvasattvahetupratyayadarśanaṃ śūnyatādarśanamadarśanam | adarśanaṃ bhagavan sarvadharmāṇāṃ darśanaṃ samyagdarśanamiti ||



kathamanadhiṣṭhānā saṃvṛtiryuktā? kathaṃ punarayuktā? yathā asati sthāṇau puruṣabhrāntiḥ | kasya punaḥ śūnyatāvādinaḥ paramārthataḥ sthāṇuḥ siddho yadāśrayātpuruṣabhrāntiḥ syāt? amūlā eva ca sarvadharmāstattvato mūlānupapatteḥ ||



tathā coktamāryavimalakīrtinirdeśe- abhūtaparikalpasya kiṃ mūlam? āha- viparyastā saṃjñā mūlam | āha- viparyastāyāḥ saṃjñāyāḥ kiṃ mūlam | apratiṣṭhānaṃ mūlam? āha- apratiṣṭhāyāḥ kiṃ mūlam? āha- yanmañjuśrīrapratiṣṭhānaṃ na tasya kiṃcinmūlam | iti hyapratiṣṭhānamūlapratiṣṭhitāḥ sarvadharmāḥ | iti ||



iyaṃ samāsataḥ prajñāpāramitā cittaśuddhayarthinā bhāvayitavyā | bhāvayitvā ca kleśaripuraṇakuśalena bhavitavyam, na svagṛhaśūreṇa ||



yathoktamāryasaṃgītisūtre- na śūnyatāvādī lokadharmaiḥ saṃhviyate'niścitatvāt | na sa lābhena saṃhṛṣyati | alābhena na vimanā bhavati | yaśasā na vismayate | ayaśasā na saṃkucati | nindayā nāvalīyate | praśaṃsayā nānulīyate | sukhena na rajyate | duḥkhena na virajyate | yo hyevaṃ lokadharmairna saṃhriyate, sa śūnyatāṃ jānīte | iti || tathā śūnyatāvādino na kkacidanurāgo na virāgaḥ | yasmin rajyeta, tacchūnyameva jānīte, śūnyameva paśyati | nāsau śūnyatāṃ jānīte, yaḥ kkaciddharme rajyate vā virajyate vā | tathā nāsau śūnyatāṃ jānīte, yaḥ kenacitsārdhaṃ vigrahaṃ vivādaṃ vā kuryāt | śūnyameva jānīte, tacchunyameva paśyatītyādi ||

etatsaṃkṣepāccittaśodhanam ||

ayaivamapi paramaviśuddhirdharmadarśane sati iha pañcakaṣāyasaṃkliṣṭasya kalyāṇamitrāvasāditasya vā saṃkṣepeṇa tāvatkutra yatnaṃ kṛtvā śīghraṃ cittaśuddhirbhavati? ātmabahumāna-parāvajñātyāge'nayormūlamātmasattvadṛṣṭiḥ | sā caitadabhyāsātsukaraṃ prahīyata iti paragauravamātmāvajñā caivaṃ bhāvanīyā-



yadi sattvo yadi skandhāḥ kṣamatā sarvathā sthitā |

ekasya hi parātmatvaṃ viruddhaṃ saṃbhavetkatham ||

vinālambanamapyetadācarantyeva dehinaḥ |

anādikalpanābhyāsātkimabhyāsasya duṣkaram ||

evamabhyāsavaśyatve tulye kasmātsukhodayam |

paragauravamutsṛjya svasukhāyānyadiṣyate ||

cintāmaṇiryathoktāśca santi gauravahetavaḥ |

na tu me gauravātsaukhyamihāpi janadurbhagāt |

tasmātsattvāntare yadvadrūkṣamatsaramāninaḥ |

ātmasnehavato vṛttirbhāvayettadviparyayam ||

ātmano bahumāno'yaṃ stutinindādisekataḥ |

vardhate nārakavaśātsekānnarakavahnivat ||

śabdastāvadacittatvānmāṃ stautīti na saṃbhavaḥ |

paraḥ kila mayi prīta ityayaṃ me matibhramaḥ ||

tattuṣṭayaiva mama prītiḥ sāmānye na sadāstu sā |

tatsukhena na cetkāryaṃ tena tuṣṭena kiṃ mama ||

anyatra mayi vā prītyā kiṃ hi me parakīyayā ||

na me pareṇa tuṣṭena kāye saukhyamihāṇvapi ||

evaṃ jñātvā prahātavyā kalpanā nirvibandhanā |

akīrtinindāsatkārā evaṃ jñeyāśca niṣphalāḥ ||

na dharmo nāyurārogyaṃ na balaṃ vandanādibhiḥ |

yadvadutprāsyamānasya vikārairanyakāyikaiḥ ||

hṛṣṭasyātha viṣaṇṇasya lābhālābhau samodayau |

vivarjya niṣphalaṃ tasmādbhaveyaṃ śailamānasaḥ ||

saṃstavatyāgācca śīghraṃ cittaviśuddhirbhavati iti tatrāpi cintyate-

nimittodgrahasaṃbhūtā pratyabhijñā punaḥ punaḥ |

utpādayatyanunayaṃ jāyate pratigho'pyataḥ ||

pratighānunayau yasya tasya pāpamavāritam |

abhyākhyānāni citrāṇi mātsaryaṃ cerṣyayā saha ||

lābhādikāmatā māna ityādyāvartate bahu |

tasmātsarvaprayatnena saṃstavaṃ praharenmuniḥ ||

sādṛśyādanyadapyetadvāristrotovadīkṣyate |

tadevedamiti bhrāntyā tattve tiṣṭhāmyato balāt ||

avastu caitatsādṛśyaṃ duḥkhaṃ ca janayiṣyati |

ahaṃ caitacca sarvaṃ ca nacirānna bhaviṣyati || iti ||
